I came here for lunch with my sister on a Saturday in June. I read the reviews on yelp and wanted to try it. The place was empty at 10am and plenty of tables to sit. The place was easy to find on Atlantic blvd north at 710 fwy in Industrial part of Vernon across from yoshinoya. The menu has pits wraps, plates, appetizers, and side items. The cashier suggest we try combo w/chicken, ground beef, steak w/ rice, 2 pita pieces, and tasty veggie salad $18 something. The food finally arrived and everything was flavourful and seasoned well. The veggie salad and rice taste good too. The cashier and owner are nice. Plenty of parking. FYI, check- in on yelp and write a good review to get a free drink. Customer service was stellar but my chicken kebab wrap was mediocre. There was not enough chicken at I was weirded out by the pickles inside. I didn't feel that it was fulfilling enough to warrant an $8 price tag. I would probably try something else next time as this might have been a one time miss. read more

This is a hidden gem in Commerce. My family and I enjoy the food from this place SO MUCH! We order for pretty much every and any birthday we have aside from popping in at least once a month! I came across this place with my husband, we love their combo plate, this is more than enough for at least three people. We always share this plate and have to take home for later. Their cucumber yogurt is so yummy! We have tried their fries which are topped with cucumber yogurt, just delicious overall. I have also had their feta salad and I would definitely recommend it, the dressing so so delicious different from anything I have ever tried. The service is always great, the owner is such a friendly person and her sons who work along her are always so accommodating! I recommend this place to everyone I know. I found this place two weeks ago and I've been back four times. My main goal was some good rice and shirazi salad. The photos others have posted of those two items looked promising so I tried it. It was delicious. My first visit I ordered the steak kabob plate with a side of hummus and extra shirazi salad. Delicious. I went for the chicken the second time around, and it was also tasty. And yesterday, we got catering from them for 15 people. The delivery guy was super sweet. Everything was cooked in perfection. Beef and chicken were both super juicy and delicious. Definitely a hidden gem in the area ! Everything I've ever ordered has been above and beyond. Fairly quick service. Food tastes great and fresh . The price in my opinion is a little high but I do not mind it one bit so long as the food continues to come out amazing. Only thing I've had here that I wasn't crazy about was the tabbouleh salad , 90 % of it was largely diced tomato , when I've had this at other restaurants it had more fresh herbs and the tomato was finely diced. Great spot for kabobs! My daughter enjoyed her juicy chicken kabobs and I enjoyed the flavorful steak kabobs. The rice was hot and fluffy. Hummus and pita triangles as appetizers were generously portioned and very tasty. I stopped by for lunch and even though the restaurant was busy, the counter person taking the orders was very nice. Honestly the worst koobideh I have ever had in my entire life. Tasted worse than a foster farms hotdog... literally, it didn't taste like beef and had a weird plastic like wrap holding the "beef" in. The food is real good the only thing that was weird is that they didn't let me in the restroom at first when I asked, I was like ok. I understand no problem because of the whole Corona virus. Then from the window I seen they let a guy go in I was like wait a minute so when the guy walked outside to wait for his order I asked him if they let him in he said yes, so I went in there I asked can I go to the restroom? They said no because of Safety and I was like you guys let that guy go in with no problem and you guys don't let me? What's the difference? I hate to give bad reviews but... this place was not at all what I expected. From the reviews I was excited to try it - sadly it did live up to even 2 stars. The staff was friendly and the place was clean, which were bonuses. However, the food itself was not good at all. The gyro meat looked and had a consistency of something I had never seen before. It didn't even look real. The dressings and dips I had were disgusting & did not taste well with the meat. Ordered the falafel plate, but the falafel was cold, overcooked, and just too hard. It was dark-colored, almost unbearable to eat. At the price of $14, it's expected to be fresh. The plate also didn't come with any sides or options like hummus or baba ganoush. There was a lot of rice, but the meal was not worth eating.
