Raisin swirl

Our bike group rode to this place for sweets and I was really impressed by the presentation and elegant shapes. We were served quickly despite the number of people we brought. I get that its the type of place where you grab and go, but it would of been nice if there were some tables outside. We all stood in the parking lot eating our sweets. I had a raisin roll. Recommend stopping by if your in the area.

On a Sunday morning in March, my sister wanted to check out a French bakery in Commerce. We drove there and its in a small shopping center next to border of bell gardens. The parking lot is small and it was busy inside. The various pastries were displayed in the glass counter. We bought chocolate croissants, scone, banana loaf. The owner was nice and helped us. I took a bite of chocolate croissant and it was buttery and flaky. I saved half and out it in the air fryer to warm it up.

I saw this little bakery on my socials, and decided to finally try it out. Walking in, I'm blown away by the vast array of pastries. It was so difficult to choose from so many options! Butter Croissant - I love how cute the shape is; it's crispy, flakey, and fluffy on the inside. Such great laminations and technique here. By tasting this, I knew what to expect for the remaining croissants. Jalapeno, Sausage, and Cheese Croissant - I'm a sucker for a ham & cheese croissant, so it was nice to see this variation on the menu. The sausage had a nice heat level to it. Almond Croissant - The almond flavor is prominent here, especially in the filling. Loved it! Tastes even better warmed. Swiss Pastry Croissant - This one was unique as there's custard & chocolate in it. I actually enjoyed this one cold as opposed to warm, because I was able to taste the custard more. Would recommend getting this one for something unique. Spinach & Feta Croissant - Perfect amount of spinach and feta ratio to the croissant. Loved this warmed up too. Chocolate Chip Cookie - The only non-croissant item I grabbed from my order; it's a giant cookie and was thick and chewy. Really good! They were doing a promotion where if you buy 5 pastries you get the 6th one free (of equal value or less). From viewing their social media, it does seem that they do sell out so I recommend visiting earlier in the day so you can snag your favorites.

I've been seeing this bakery on my socials and the baked goods always looked AMAZING. Also seeing the love and care that the owners had taken to make quality offerings was also a motivator. I walked in and was greeting with a smile and really felt welcome. The selection was a bit daunting but I wasn't pressured at all. So many delicious looking choices ,I wish I could have taken one of each. The bakery is clean and the parking is great. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I chose some savory options along with some sweet ones. I really liked the baked goods and the service I will definitely be back!

This bakery is such a gem. We were able to beat the crowd and got in. From the moment you walk in, it smells incredible. We tried a few pastries and some small cake and everything was perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right. The staff were welcoming and patient while we decided. You can tell they put a lot of care into their baking. Highly recommend!

Social media brought me here and I'm glad. Unfortunately, drove here on one of their closed days last week before they announced they were updating their store hours temporarily to accommodate their surprisingly busy sales. As of right now (11/6/2025), they're only open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday& Sunday. So we came back today to give it a try and it did not disappoint. They're having a special of buy 5 pastries get the 6th one free, not sure how long that'll run for. Jalapeno, Sausage & Cheese -if you love Asian hotdog buns, you'll love this one. The cheese really brings everything together. Jalapenos weren't too spicy, it added more of a different depth to it. Ham & Cheese -surprisingly they used real ham, not deli sandwich meat ham. Added a bit of smokiness into the croissant. Spinach & Feta - hands down the best I've had. it was what I expected but better the pastry is what brings it to life. Perfectly buttery, not greasy. Flakey but still moist on the inside and crisp outside. You can really taste the spinach and feta. Raisin Swirl -chef's kiss, there was some sort of custard holding it together that blended so well. They use golden raisins. If you normally don't like raisins, this one might be an exception. Almond Croissant -whole toasted almonds in filling which added just the right amount of crunchy texture. Overall pastry wasn't too sweet. Nutella Croissant -filled pretty hefty but surprisingly not too sweet. Swiss Pastry -it's custard and chocolate chips. I wasn't too much of a fan of this one, I personally think without the chocolate chips would better. But someone that loves chocolate might like this one better. Chocolate Chip Cookie -soft but slight crisp and chew, perfect texture. You can really taste browned butter shine through a generous amount of chocolate chip. Surprisingly not too sweet either. Blueberry Scone -was way too moist and fluffy for a scone. It would have been much better if they put that batter into muffin liners and made it as muffins.

I'm so happy this place is nearby!!! I visited on a Saturday an hour before closing in hopes of grabbing a few options. The bakery was empty except for one fruit cake, mango bambam, and banana bread. I snagged all of their banana bread and an iced latte. Omg best banana bread ever. As you can tell from the photo, I couldn't resist a bite, it was so delicious. Latte was nice and strong too. Definitely coming back to try everything else! FYI they sell out by 10am from what the lady told me.

I'm not a big fan of pastries, but here I am reviewing this spot. Small mom and pop bakery, everything is baked in house. We got a variety of pastries, the ham and cheese, the butter croissant, the Nutella croissant, the Swiss pastry and a banana nut bread. Saying it is delicious is an UNDERSTATEMENT. The pastry literally melts in your mouth, it's buttery and flaky. Again not a big fan of pastries but this shop has changed my mind, this will be the only place I will be coming to, to get pastries. There's a constant line inside so come early. No tables to sit but that's okay, we ate it in the car

Beautiful Small bakery. We were greeted with a smile. Welcoming bakery. Owner gave us samples of their maple pecan cookies. They were absolutely delicious. I had to purchase 2 bags. Croissants are delicious, soft and flaky, I also purchased their chocolate croissants, carrot loaf and other yummy pastries. Beautiful place, delicious pastries and amazing experience all in one place. I will definitely be back.

I arrived at Pronto Cafe around 6:40 PM to purchase two milkshakes. Everything was fine until after I paid. After completing my order, I politely asked the young employee who assisted me--a medium-height Latino male wearing glasses--for two straws. He told me they had run out. I then asked why he didn't inform me before preparing and charging me for milkshakes that obviously require straws. Instead of offering a solution or an apology, he responded rudely and said, "If you want, I can just give you your money back." As he turned around, I clearly heard him tell one of his coworkers, "Where does he want me to get straws from, from my a?"** This was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I told him I heard the comment and that it was unnecessary, but he simply replied that if I didn't like it, I could write a complaint. This behavior is unacceptable, especially in a business that depends on customer service. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the employee's attitude. No customer should be treated with disrespect or sarcasm for simply asking for something as basic as a straw. I genuinely enjoy visiting the Citadel Outlets, but this experience left a very negative impression of this location. I hope the company takes immediate action to ensure better training and professionalism from their staff.

I got the turkey wrap, it was good (more lettuce than turkey) but I was hungry so it did the job (for the same price I would pick something else next time). We saw more people picking up the cookies, cakes, and gelato yesterday. Pretty popular place. No seating inside but there is seating around the mall to grab. The person that helped us was very nice and the person at the register was nice as well but we felt he was sort of rushing to get everyone rung up. Overall would go back again and try something else on our next stop at the mall. Perfect location to grab a bit or a drink and stretch your legs heading up to LA.

The foam with the custom latte art cost an extra $2 but I think it was worth it, at least for my first time. To be honest, Honey Greens seemed like a gimmicky place since I thought the foam art was all that it was known for, but no, their drink quality was actually good! I got the agave matcha latte for myself, and I enjoyed how rich it tasted and how vibrant it was in color. I also added a cold foam which made it too sweet for me. Next time, I plan on ordering an unsweetened matcha latte and add cold foam as the sweetener. I also tried a sip of the lavender matcha and that was the one thing I didn't like because the lavender overpowered the matcha. It was pretty busy for a Friday afternoon with all the tables filled and a short line formed after I walked in. The workers were all so kind, and it was overall a very inviting place with fun decorations and a myriad of art options for the cold foam.

I always order the matcha with 1.5 scoops of matcha, vanilla syrup, and light ice, and it's consistently perfect every single time, rich, smooth, not watered down, and clearly made with quality matcha. You can actually taste it, which sadly isn't a given these days. My boyfriend's go-to is the vanilla cold brew with a splash of whole milk, and it never misses. Smooth, balanced, not overly sweet, just really well done. Beyond the drinks, the vibe is what really sets Roam & Brew apart. It's always busy for a reason. Friendly staff, welcoming energy, and a place that genuinely feels like it was built for the community. You never feel rushed or like just another order. Consistency, quality, and care are everything in a coffee shop, and Roam & Brew nailed all three. It's obvious how much thought goes into what they serve and how they show up for customers. They only have street parking from what I noticed and it's a main street ...Cesar Chavez so I had to park about a block away. I looked on yelp and their individual cakes looked delish and I really wanted a coffee. I chose to get the coffee cake, the tiramisu, each $7 and a slice of cheesecake $5 and their new coco puffs cold brew cafe de olla with vanilla cold foam 20oz. = $7. Unfortunately, the coffee cake and tiramisu were too dry and didn't have much flavor.... The whipped cream was soft and fluffy, but also not much flavor.... Both of them had whipped cream.... Unfortunately, I was really excited. I wanted to have a nice coffee cake, but this is not it. At least not the slices I got. The cheese cheesecake was good and tasty, but not out of this world. So I wouldn't go back to this bakery just for these cakes. The iced coffee, though that was delicious.!!! really tasty not too sweet and my only complaint is that my cup was too small. I should've ordered the bigger size~ they have 3 sizes and I got the 20oz (med). I felt like there was more ice and coco puffs than coffee and I wanted more coffee. lol I really like the amount of cocoa puffs and ice was the normal amount so I'm not complaining about that lol but I just wanted more coffee! The service was nice Sorry I forgot to take pics I would say to try this place out for yourselves.... I noticed that before I got there, two ladies had walked about a block to get there. We're chitchatting having fun and placed the order and they sat outside on the little umbrella, cupboard patio chair chairs and we're having their cafecito and chisme time and seemed to really enjoy it. We also shared one large classic chocolate chip cookies (so yummy!) The only thing we didn't understand is that we shared a Ube Tres Leches. I am not sure what was going on. Don't get me wrong, what we ate was very good; however, it was 100% not Tres Leches. It was an Ube Cream with some graham cracker crumble underneath.
