Tried a new spot that my boss recommended, and wow it did not disappoint! Ordered online and had it delivered for the whole team and every single person gave it a thumbs up The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly exceeded expectations. Today I stopped at the Commerce location my usual spot. I ordered a large Greek salad with a Kabob on the side. I didn't mind paying extra for the kabob. Normally this place gets it right with the food. But today not sure what happened? The salad was old not fresh & crunchy but more on the limp side with the ends turning brown. My kabob was cold & normally its warm & made just right that you taste the freshness. Not today sorry. I ate 1/4 of the salad and tossed the rest in the trash. Sorry it was not worth the $19.00 i spent. I didn't notice my foods presentation until I got home & was to tired & hungry to drive all the way back. read more

SO GOOD! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. FAIR PRICING. DELICIOUS FOOD. I really enjoyed the food here. It was so good.! Let me just start off by saying that this place does NOT skimp on it's serving sizes! It is really hearty and delicious! I got the beef kabobs on pita bread and made it a combo (side and a drink) for an extra 3.99. I chose French fries as my side and it was sooo delicious! Service was great. Server was nice and knowledgeable and they bring out the food to your table. 10/10 would recommend. read more

The lamb kebabs are inedible. I had to watch my partner chew and spit them out. She's not a picky eater either. Not sure if it was just cheap cuts or overcooked but if I could get a refund I'd be deserving. The chicken kebabs were ok. read more

Ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and also ordered the chicken and hummus side. The food was delicious. My only complaint is that the pita bread was very hard. I was looking forward to the bread with the hummus but sadly the bread was horrible. Chicken was very tender and tasty. I would definitely order again but I hope they get better quality softer bread soon. Service staff were friendly and the food didn't take too long to make. You can dine in, but I opted to take my food to go. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but this experience truly deserves one. I've had Mediterranean food at many different restaurants, and this was my first time trying this place and it did not disappoint. The beef was cooked to perfection: not overcooked, not dry, just juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to dine in and had to take my food to go, but the service still stood out. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. I didn't catch the name of the lovely woman who took my order, but she had her young daughter with her. From the moment I walked in, her daughter greeted me with the biggest smile, which instantly made my day. Seeing a mother balancing work while still being attentive, warm, and present with both her customers and her child was truly admirable. Her daughter was so well behaved and sweet , a clear reflection of her mother. Overall, stepping foot into this place ended up being the highlight of my day. It was my first time there, place looked very clean. The young lady at the register was very friendly and courteous. I ordered the lamb chop plate as well as the chicken kabob plate. The chops were very tasty and soft and so was the chicken. The ONLY thing was that the rice was very salty as well as my lamb chops Unfortunately I couldn't finish my food, the salt was just too much. I'm willing to give this place another chance in the future, only because I love lamb and they are very close to me. The pros outweigh the cons, and hopefully it won't be so salty next time. One day my wife and I were surprised there's a John's Kabobs in Commerce this one called John's Kabob 2 because this is thier second restaurant. We enjoy the food and flavor very at the Original John's Kabobs in Monterey Park. We decided to go John's Kabobs 2 for lunch then we step in the restaurant then we look at the menu and decided what to order. My wife order the falafel sandwich then she decided make a combo comes with a side and a drink and her side she got was hummus and she order garlic fries with Gyro meat in the fries. I decided to order gryo supreme sandwich and veggie for my side. Our was ready then cashier brought out our meal to us. I open my Gyro supreme and the aroma was so good then I took a bite of it wow so much flavor in the Gyro was I incredible good. My wife enjoy her falafel sandwich very much and the hummus was very tasty with flavors. The garlic fries was really good especially with Gyro meat in the fries add it so much flavor. We need to come back again and try different items. read more

Saw this restaurant while in the area and I love Persian/middle eastern food so I am always willing to try new spots I see in the area since it's not all that common and everyone always has there own take. Overall it was good but a little pricey. I got the combo with chicken and beef kabob with extra salad I don't like hummus. I tried two of the shrimp from my boyfriends plate he shares with me so nice. I wished o would have ordered the shrimp I think it was my favorite protein choice. The meat one was good but there cooking temp. Was a little off mine were cooked perfectly till the last one and my boyfriend said his was a little over cooked but they were good. Wished I would have taken a picture but I just dug in. I will be coming back though so next time. Oh and there bread was really good, not the usual pita. Unfortunately I gave this place 3 try's. Today resulted in my coworkers and I getting sick . We ordered the Gyro platter, to find that it was undercooked. Same as the pervious times, it was so mushy we can mold into a new shape. We ordered beef kabobs, they were not cooked properly as well, the inside was red pink but the outside was charred . I'm going to stick to the original location in MP. Service- no complaints very friendly. Ambiance was like any other restaurant nothing out of the ordinary. I will make the sacrifice to drive further to avoid another upset stomach . read more

No salt in the lamb skewers. Bland. Extremely tough(blame this on kitchen management). Like eating rubber. They served my lamb with a mid rare temp. I was never asked for an option in temp but glad they did. Any further, meat would be even tougher and veg would be completely black(burnt). The hummus tasted okay. I actually ordered an extra side but they ran out. Bit of a let down. So I cancelled it. Partnered ordered a chicken and shrimp plate. Chicken, dry and also bland. Not tough though! The shrimp was done just right and has salt. Kudos. Shrimp was good. The rice....okay. Worked well, and was able to enjoy with my extra side of bread. The tzatziki, a bit questionable so I didn't touch it. Seems a bit too watery for me. It should have cream cheese and thicker viscosity but no where near the consistency of a typical tzatziki. Cucumber is supposed to be green and this had no vibrant green specs at all. All in all, my meal didn't taste like $45. I only enjoyed my bread, rice, hummus, and soda. I'd rather make this myself so that I am unable to rip myself off of any money. read more

Omg I love this place I been here probably about 10 times. Place is always clean and quiet there customer service is fantastic the cooks even better ! I eat the shrimp plate with rice and Caesar salad there garlic sauce is a key to the meal I love it everything is always made so perfect ! The taste and the presentation of the food is amazing I literally love Greek food and this place doesn't disappoint ever . I could go on and on how much I love this place ! It's a must read more

Came here today with my boyfriend's family and I wasn't really expecting much since I've had mediterranean food before from somewhere else and it was a tad disappointing...but this place definitely changed my life!!! The food tasted so fresh and delicious. We tried the beef and chicken kabob plates and both were 10/10. I also LOVED the pita bread and rice. And to top it off the service was AMAZING. Depending on what you order, some skewers are grilled by the kitchen while others are cooked on the automatic rotating grill right at your table, which adds to the fun dining experience. The lamb is tender and flavorful without having a strong gamey taste, making it a good option even for people who don't usually eat lamb. The mala lamb kebab simply adds a nice layer of numbing spice which I don't find it special. The beef kebab was good as well, although I personally prefer the lamb. Chicken hearts and gizzards were decent. The beef tendon wasn't my favorite this time and didn't seem as fresh. Chicken wings were solid and nicely seasoned. For vegetables, I actually enjoyed the cucumber more than the chives and eggplant. The matsutake mushroom was good, though not particularly memorable. If you're a fan of meat buns, don't skip the pan-fried pork and vegetable bun. The bun itself was soft and fluffy, and I especially enjoyed the savory sauce paired on the side. One helpful tip: after 6 PM, you can park for free in the bank parking lot across the street, which makes finding parking much easier. After more than 15 years, Feng Mao continues to be a reliable spot for skewers, especially if you're dining with friends and want to try a variety of grilled meats and vegetables.

The only problem was the orders weren't piping up on their end and that their phones were also not working so we weren't sure if that even got our orders va due we were charged on the card. The food does take a little long to come out but the food it's self is pretty good! We tried the beef kabob plate and lamb sandwich it was delicious. The service was good my husband and I ordered online but they're internet was down so they hasn't received anything. The girl that was in the front, Maria, was nice enough to put the order in and gave us a receipt for our records as a form of validation for the payment which was a nice gesture. The menu here is simple enough offering a few different burrito and bowl options with various meats and vegetables to use as toppings or fillings. I decided on giving the combo bowl a try which consisted of beef, chicken, a healthy dose of white rice, and some vegetables to top it all off. One cool thing this place does offer is slush drinks as well, I ended up going with what I think I recall being strawberry mango? well, it was something like that and it was absolutely delicious, definitely the best part of the experience. The food didn't take too long to come out and I gotta be honest here, I was pretty let down with the food. The chicken and beef were both fine, but without the sauce they were a tad on the dry side and didn't really taste all that great. The vegetables and rice were fine, but nothing to really discuss. Overall, I left Chop Chop Chicken with little to no desire to return again in the future. The food was on the bland side and the slush itself isn't really enough to make me want to drive back to Monterey Park for, so I guess this is a one and done for me.

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon & it wasn't too busy. The service was fast & they had Spanish music on point! (my type of playlist). The agua chiles were so tasty that we ended up ordering a second plate. They are't too spicy in my opinion but there's a small kick! They're also very generous with their tostadas. The taco gobernador was also delicious & comes with a side of non spicy salsa & a chile guero (banana pepper). The coctel had a good "broth" before adding additional seasonings. I didn't think the prices were too steep for mariscos. Will definitely be back soon!

My wife and I decided to give it a try, and it definitely lived up to the hype! Here is what we ordered: Mushroom Swiss Burger: Absolutely fantastic. Super juicy patty and they did not skimp on the mushrooms. Avocado Cheeseburger: Outstanding! Most burger joints usually give you just a couple of thin slices of avocado, but they completely loaded this one up. It was so huge my wife couldn't even finish it. The service was top-notch, and the prices are super reasonable for the portion sizes you get. My only tiny critique was that the fries were a bit on the saltier side for my personal taste, but next time I'll just ask for light salt. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu next time we're in the area!
