I especially enjoy the pork, which I'm not usually a fan of in Chinese food. It has the warm five spice flavor and is very tender. I also like that they add greens to the won ton soup (cabbage and maybe bok choy tops?) Also don't miss the crab rangoons! They seem to contain actual crab and aren't overly sweet. Lastly, you gotta try the viral fruit shaped ice cream pops. They're a bit pricy at $8.95, but a fun experience to eat. I had the mango and enjoyed it thoroughly. Hunan Bistro is my new go-to for Chinese takeout. Try it -you won't regret it!

I have been coming here since a very young child…read more I am completely taken back by the poor customer service I received today. I ordered combo and didn't receive all items. I called to inform them of this and they told me I said à la cart which I didn't even know that they offered à la cart, I have been ordering that same way for the majority of my life. I told the owner that that's not what I said he said "yes it is. I wrote it down" He also said that I said I wanted white rice, which was not the case. I've never ordered white rice. The issue isn't the food being messed up. The issue is him telling me I ordered something that I didn't not and being absolutely hateful. When I tried to explain to him that I wouldn't have said those things and if it's a honest mistake that's fine but please don't tell me I said something I didn't, he responded by mocking me to someone in the background. Zero accountability for his error. A completely nasty person. All my fond memories of eating inside as a child now soiled by a man's weak ego and attempt to gas light me. Honestly I might have believed him and took it as my mistake if I even knew there was an à la carte option or if I ever ordered white rice previously. I miss the former owners. Not only were they exceptionally kind but also never made a mistake. And if they did I'm sure they would have apologized and I would have accepted the apology and went about my day not concerned about the slight misunderstanding. Disgusted. This once positively raved Middletown staple will swiftly decline by simply lacking the ability to be kind to their customers. Me being upset is about how I was treated and him cutting me off and stating that's what I ordered when it absolutely is not. It will be the last time I eat here. And I can already tell others are starting to feel the same after reviewing some recent reviews.

It would have been well over $60 since they charge $4 for a soda. The floor is slimy; like needs a deep steam clean on the tile. Fairly clean elsewhere but very dated all the way around. The food is ok. But they certainly don't throw away any food no matter how long it's sat. That is why there are so many reviews saying the food is cold. Again, if it were $45 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children it would be ok.

It only cost 14 dollars for lunch on weekdays with the drink and it about 23 for the dinner with a drink. Decore is outdated but it's in Middletown and I'm 45 and it has been there since I was 11 or 12 for what you're paying it's not bad. If you're looking for a Vegas good luck. Once walking in we were greeted quickly and received a quick overview of the menu since it was out first time. I ordered the fried pork dumplings as well as the butter chicken. The fried dumplings arrived at the table hot and crispy. Cut one half and took a bite to have it burst a flavor of delight that sent my tastebuds on a journey of flavors. Finished the other 9 in a hurry. Butter chicken came out smooth and creamy with just the right amount of tang. Chicken was tender and the sauce that it was swimming in was bursting with taste. First time trying butter chicken and will for sure be ordering it again soon. Quantity of food was in large amounts so you will not leave hungry. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something different than the normal pizza or skyline in trenton.
