The rice was boiled instead of fried. Weird pink color to the rice and noodles tasted like pre made packaged noodles

This place has some really good prices! I got the chicken teriyaki, and it was very tasty.

Super cheap for a lot of good food! Service is fast and it definitely competes with China Garden.

It would have been well over $60 since they charge $4 for a soda. The floor is slimy; like needs a deep steam clean on the tile. Fairly clean elsewhere but very dated all the way around. The food is ok. But they certainly don't throw away any food no matter how long it's sat. That is why there are so many reviews saying the food is cold. Again, if it were $45 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children it would be ok.

Also love the chinese spare ribs, chicken on stick, tsos, sweet/sour chicken, beef'n'broccoli, bourbon chicken, hot/sour soup, and more! There's a ton of options, including soups, main dishes, sides, desserts, and condiments. It's my go-to chinese, as I enjoy having a little of all my faves! P.S. : Not sure what some certain previous reviewer expects pricewise, but it is entirely unrealistic! It's all you can eat! And being a buffet, obviously the food is going to be more than 2 minutes old, but that doesn't make it bad quality! China King Buffet is pretty fresh as far as buffets go anyway! But, if someone expects made to order freshness, don't go to a buffet! Still, cheap skates expecting 4 people to eat for less than $60 with sodas all around shouldn't go out to eat at all! Better to stay home and stick to ramen noodles if you're that cheap! Sheesh! Apologies fot my rant, but that review just annoyed me!

The service is friendly and warm and answered all my questions about what ingredients are used. I tried the shrimp and vegetables, the Crab Rangoon and the Singapore noodles (made vegetarian by request). The chef came out and talked to us about making anything we needed to be vegetarian and the whole vibe is super cute. Be aware, this is home cooking and worth the wait. Do not be in a hurry, enjoy yourself and make a point to get here ASAP!

Second, the hospitality from the whole family was so warm; besides feeding us they shared stories, ideas, news and a fascinating history of their journey at The Meadows. I am happy to hear they are gaining more of a following of regulars and hope the town discovers this gem and starts their own traditions there - I know we will!
