I ordered the Crab Rangoon which was perfectly cooked with a crispy outer shell and delicious gooey crab sauce in the middle with a bowl of sweet and sour sauce, so good. I ordered the orange chicken and fried rice. Bewarned there are 6 different fried rices, so you gotta know which one you want first. Orange chicken was majorly soggy, and fried rice tasted like the 90 second microwave kind. But the rangoons damn they were fire, 9/10. Veggie rolls were good but sus so eat at your own risk. Kylee - Ok used to be my fav. But the past few months haven't tasted the same. Today, tasted smokey? Not enough onions. I saw like 4 onions, not a whole or part of one! The ones that were whole, green. Uncooked. Not quite right. Ya know? Probs a 6/7 out of 10. Almost tastes like it's on fire. Gave me a literal buckets worth tho so might be worth it.

True Score- 3.5/5 Stars…read more China House is my default option for Chinese carryout in Hamilton. In my opinion, it is the best in Hamilton in this regard (aside from Basil) and consistently has the best tasting food. Everything I have had is pretty good- however the egg rolls can be a bit chewy and the fried rice is kind of generic (although it tastes good). I think the chicken is excellent, the dumplings are great, and the lo mein is also pretty good. Staff is always very friendly inside, and that is a plus. It can quickly be an expensive dinner. 2 combos with a drink or 2 and an appetizer can easily run you 35 bucks. Depending on what you get. The place seems to be carryout/delivery only, as the inside is not suitable for seating to dine in. The blinds are all messed up, and in general just not an appealing looking place. The food and service are for sure the best in town, making this my default choice. Highly recommend! My family ordered three meals tonight and the food was absolutely terrible. It taste like the chicken has been sitting around since yesterday. Take yourself out on your own darn date. Why not?…read more You deserve it. And when you do..... Order the Pink Starburst for 10 buckeroos. A steal. It's pretty and pink and glows. Second choice was an expressotini. The crab rangoons for 6 bucks are a steal. Who can't resist crispy fried filled puffs filled with cream cheese ? Not this girl. Then I took Anthony's suggestion and went with a coconut spaghetti. If you're wondering what that is...... It's flippin fabulous. It's mandarin egg noodles tossed with shrimp, vegetables, in a savory brown sauce. Sold. The curiosity alone was enough to order it. Now on to the ambience. 9.5 outta 10. The music is in the background and not too loud to not hear the conversations your eavesdropping on in the next booth. And any place you go and hear Fleetwood Mac is a plus. The bar has a cool vibe and you don't have to break the bank. And!!! best part yet, there are books all around the place to read if you get bored or have a boring date. And Lori is such a darn hard worker with a smile a great hair. And thankfully, they do Apple Pay.

Our waitress was Sheridan and she provided absolutely superb service. Major shout-out. They didn't have the beer my husband ordered so she took the initiative to return to the table with two samples of similar beer for him to try. She answered all our questions and made appropriate recommendations. We were checked on often enough, a soda refill appeared without my asking, and she neatly boxed up our leftovers. She was pleasant and kind and one of the best servers ever. Very classy decor here; subtle touches of the orient; wood, leather, and...books! And a very elegant bar. Motown music was playing, and festive but not excessive Christmas decorations were up. And yes, a fortune cat was there to greet us. Food arrived quickly. We had the Thai Dumplings app which was just enough for two to whet the appetite. It was tangy and peanutty and the cool cucumber slices a perfect contrast. My husband had the Green Mango Grouper and loved it. I had a taste and it was fantastic, fresh white fish and delectable toppings, spice level 2 was just right. I tasted it and agreed it was excellent and right then we made plans to return. I had Siam Curry with chicken. Full of flavor and wonderful vegetables especially the snow peas. Spice level 3 is described as Thai Spicy and they are not kidding. They do not wimp out on the spice here so use caution. (For example at Thai Thara in Richmond Indiana I go with 5 of 5 and I still need to add some spice.) Sheridan brought extra chili oil if needed. I would recommend erring on the side of lower spice with the option to add. We took home an order of Singapore Noodles to share for supper tomorrow along with our leftovers. I snuck a taste before putting it away and it's delicious! Looking forward to another visit soon and I think I'll try one of their cocktails. Highly recommended!
