    Szechuan chicken lunch special.
    Julie T.

Went here for lunch. Great prices and wonderful service nice atmosphere too. The Szechuan chicken was good. Egg roll was delicious and the fried rice was tasty the hit and sour soup needed to be a bit more spicy to my liking. Don't be fooled by the area. The inside was nice. No liquor but you can bring wine and beer in according to a sign they posted.

Take yourself out on your own darn date. Why not?…read more You deserve it. And when you do..... Order the Pink Starburst for 10 buckeroos. A steal. It's pretty and pink and glows. Second choice was an expressotini. The crab rangoons for 6 bucks are a steal. Who can't resist crispy fried filled puffs filled with cream cheese ? Not this girl. Then I took Anthony's suggestion and went with a coconut spaghetti. If you're wondering what that is...... It's flippin fabulous. It's mandarin egg noodles tossed with shrimp, vegetables, in a savory brown sauce. Sold. The curiosity alone was enough to order it. Now on to the ambience. 9.5 outta 10. The music is in the background and not too loud to not hear the conversations your eavesdropping on in the next booth. And any place you go and hear Fleetwood Mac is a plus. The bar has a cool vibe and you don't have to break the bank. And!!! best part yet, there are books all around the place to read if you get bored or have a boring date. And Lori is such a darn hard worker with a smile a great hair. And thankfully, they do Apple Pay.

The first week I had chicken Pad-Thai and miso soup. It was very good but I had a taste of my dining partners chicken lo-mien and wow! The next visit I had the lo-mien and it was great! Also had the egg drop soup which was delicious. Portions were large and I feel it was a great value. Also had the spicy ahi tuna roll - another home run!

I found myself craving Chinese Food while I was visiting my family on vacation. Since I didn't…read morehave access to a car during my visit, I was limited on places that delivered. I heard Hong Kong Wok delivered and decided to give them a try based on their Yelp reviews. My order consisted of 3 egg rolls, steamed dumplings, a large egg drop soup, large bourbon chicken with white rice, and large shrimp lo mein. I was quoted a price of $30.65, which included a $3 delivery fee. The delivery time was consistent with the 30-minute timeframe quoted during the ordering process. Also, each dish provided hearty portions that could have fed 3-4 people. The highlights of my order were the egg rolls and egg drop soup. Both were still hot upon delivery and were the tastiest part of my meal. Unfortunately, those were the only positives of my order. The rest of the food items were cold and probably sat in the restaurant for a few hours before being delivered. Both the shrimp lo mein and bourbon chicken were not very appetizing and dark in complexion. The bourbon chicken lacked the bourbon flavor. Based on the complexion and non- flavor, I'm guessing a lot of soy sauce was used. The same can be said to describe the shrimp lo mein. My steamed dumplings were dried out and cold. The filling was bland and didn't taste like beef. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with my Hong Kong Wok experience, and probably won't give them another chance when I come home for vacation and have a Chinese craving.

Honk Kong Wok is a great little shop. Family owned, not corporate. It's located in a little plaza…read moreback from the road, next to a video game shop. Walking in you will see nick-nacks for sale (glass figurines, etc) on the counter, and the fixtures look a little old, but clean. The staff are friendly, the food is good. I eat here an average of twice every two weeks. Prices are reasonable. The best part (in my opinion) is the FRIED RICE. I searched DOZENS of restaurants trying to find fried rice cooked with THICK SOY. This gives the rice a dark brown, slightly sweeter taste. (I'm living in Ohio, but from Massachusetts. ALL the American Chinese food restaurants use the thick soy back home The only thing I'm missing are "Fall River Chow Mein Noodles" which are a regional thing.) The ONLY minor thing I can think of is that I find Boneless Pork Ribs better when dry and slightly burned VS covered in a sauce, but that's an extremely minor comment and NOT a complaint.
