I waited a long time to write this review because I didn't want to do it in anger. Howard feels…read morelike a tough-luck guy, who kinda still tries; and half-ass delivers on his mess up's; For this reason I'm certain that there are many, like me, who never wrote the review warning others. I really wish people before me took the time to write a warning review. So I am now. Not to hurt Howard, but as a service to others. It's been a full year and now I feel that i can evenly share my experience. I took my mac to Howard and he added RAM. After I got the mac back, my iCloud was multiplying my contacts OUT OF CONTROL like an exponential moment in the Matrix. I took it back to him and he couldn't fix the problem. I had to go elsewhere for help. It took hours with a top tech manager at Apple to stop the madness. (He hadn't reinstalled the settings correctly, and couldn't figure out how.)

He just sat there patiently checking and rechecking, A- so the problem would finally be fixed and B- so I didn't end up wasting money, replacing something that wasn't the cause of the problem. Came with a load of new components (modem, airport, a gazillion wires, power extenders and who knows what else! Just in case.) Figured out the troublemaker, replaced it, and voila! Sweet and gracious as always.

My computer had completely shut down and my biggest priority was getting the data off of it. I didn't want to bring my computer somewhere where they'd dismiss my emotional attachment to my data and instead try to just get me to purchase a new computer. After speaking with Manu, he was really sympathetic to my attachment to my data, and I felt confident of my computer in their hands. Their team worked tirelessly for MONTHS to get the data from my computer. The lengths they went to (research, working with teams, etc) was way more than I could have asked for. They truly took all the stops to try to get my data back. Unfortunately, my computer had a VERY unique freak accident that was essentially impossible to get the data off of it. I certainly was devastated, but it was absolutely no fault of Manu and team. I am 100% confident that they put their all into getting my data back, and I'm certain that if it wasn't a crazy situation with my computer that they would have succeeded. So please DO NOT misconstrue my situation as this team having a lack of knowledge, ability, or care. I can't stress enough the effort they put into this. They really cared about my personal attachment to my data, and they truly did not give up on it until they tried every possible avenue. They went the extra mile multiple times for me and didn't even burden me with any insane costs during this stressful time. Ultimately, they provided me with alternative options to repair my computer once deemed that the data was unobtainable, but at the moment I'm still in the grieving process of my data. If I decide to just repair the computer, I absolutely would bring it right back. If you want people who TRULY care about your issues, precious data, and your devices, please come to Manu and team. I don't think I've ever received this amount of care in any service in my lifetime. They were extremely apologetic that they couldn't solve my issue, but again, my situation was exceptionally unique. I would absolutely still bring my devices back as needed because I know from experience they would put their all into fixing it. As you can see from other people's reviews, they can also attest to their exceptional service and success in repair. I think it should speak volumes that even though my specific problem could not be fixed, I would still ABSOLUTELY trust them in the future and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone else. Someone else had told me that the desktop was too old, but we didn't really need a new computer and like to prevent ewaste when we can. Apple &Mac Solutions we bring it in to check it out. So we took it in and to our surprise they were able to fix it! Only needed a new hard drive (ours was the original). And now it boots much faster and so far so good! I also thought that the pricing was far and saved us a lot over buying a new iMac. I recommend checking them out. I will be bringing my MacBook if I ever need work on it.
