    French Fries with Curry Sauce

Came to queen city radio for drinks, and was pleasantly surprised to see that this truck was here as well. Tried the German Hotdog which was solid, as well as the pretzel, and the fries. I think my favorite was the fries with curry sauce, very flavorful and a good combination with a drink. Service was quick and welcoming. And obviously ambiance was great bc weather was perfect and there is outdoor seating. Highly recommend grabbing food from here!

I mean, look at the picture!! Do you need to know anything else?! Loved everything about this sandwich, from the pretzel bun to tangy sauce, to giant crispy schnitzel, part of which I cut off and took home for later. The fries were delicious and I even got them rot/weiss (with mayo and ketchup) just like I always had in Germany! I also got a side of curry to try ($1 extra I think) and it was very good too. It was a cold day, so we sat inside at Queen City Radio and had a beer, and they texted when the food was ready. Honestly, we came here for the food though and I can't wait to go back!

I was looking forward to going to Queen City Radio and was pleased to find out that this was the food option available. If you don't already know, Cincinnati is known for their German food. It's this interesting history tidbit that I recommend you explore. Anyway, I was looking forward to trying some food while I was out and about. I can't really break down this establishment into all of the categories that I usually do for restaurants, because it is more of a food stand. I will say that their hours are mainly Thursday through Saturday, with the exception of FCC games. Anytime there is a home game, they will be present. If you're looking to dipping your toe into German cuisine, I think this is a safe bet to try. Food (5/5) Like I said, I knew I wanted schnitzel. They advertise this awesome sandwich that had the delicious fried pork accompanied by lettuce and tomato on a pretzel bun. I was shocked when I received my sandwich, in a positive way. It is huge. I definitely think this is some thing that two people could eat. The schnitzel was perfectly fried. The pretzel bun had a great texture and was salted nicely. There is an aïoli sauce on it, which you should ask for more of to spread along the remaining schnitzel. I think you should get fries in addition to the sandwich if you are looking for a full meal. I saw a lot of other people ordering their pretzels, which also looked really good. The sandwiches only $11 and I think well worth the cost. This is a tremendous value. Service (4.5/5) The staff were nice and attentive. They gave me the additional sauce without any issue. They look for you in the bar area when your food is ready. I really hope that if anyone is wanting to try something new, that they give this establishment their business.

When you hear the term "Food Truck" you may conjure up images of generic dishes hastily put together in order to serve the most customers in the least amount of time. However, this could not be further from reality with this business. By the grace of God, we got the opportunity to visit this establishment on a Cincy Food Tour (The OTR Signature Tour). Another review for another today because THIS review is all about the amazing, flavorful, and authentically German cuisine offered up by this establishment. The owner/chef hails from the German town after which his business is named and we got the opportunity for him to sit down with his wife and business partner along with our group and hear a little bit of the history and inspiration behind each one of his German dishes. You could tell by the way he talks about his dishes along with how they tasted, that he definitely has a passion for serving up authentic, from-scratch meals. Included with the tour was a platter fit for a King (or Queen). It had about 8 or so samples of some of the items he serves. Every single thing we tried was amazing and I can't wait to go back to Queen City Radio to get me hands on some schnitzel or currywurst. And as for that mushroom gravy....absolutely wunderbär! What a perfect establishment to try if your looking for German cuisine in a city with so much German heritage. Give this place a visit you won't be disappointed!

I wish I took more pictures of the food, but take my word for it - this place is incredible. I am a huge fan of German food and have tried many places in the area, but the Lubecker has something special going on. They are set up as a food truck inside Queen City Radio bar. The schnitzel sandwich was huge and tasted fresh and delicious. The pretzel did not disappoint and I will be back to try everything else on the menu!

Excellent German food! The Service is Superb! Schnitzel Sandwich, Currywurst, Northern German Potato Salad, Käsespätzle; Lecker....

Currywurst was very tomato-forward and wurst itself was overpowered. No spatzle on game days.

Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to whatever eclectic spot you choose to sit. The food is prepared where you can clearly see the cook. The care taken when preparing the food seems extraordinary in today's automated rush rush world. I would recommend this place without hesitation. Cold beer, healthy portions, not too bad on the wallet (not cheap though). If you can find it, go there.

There seemed to be just one front of house person taking orders and pouring drinks, so there was a bit of a wait to order. They were unfortunately out of the cheese/onion spätzle so my fiance ordered currywurst instead. The rest of us ordered schnitzel with buttered spätzle. When the plates were set down, my finance immediately said he had plate envy. The schnitzels were huge and amazing. The buttered spätzle was the best I've had locally, both in texture and taste. The pork was pounded thin and fried but remained so tender and juicy. The currywurst was a bit of a let down for my finance. He said it seemed like regular wursts, with regular ketchup and some curry powder sprinkled on top. There was also not much ketchup. Maybe we are just used to Germany where they are swimming in a curry ketchup. The potatoes were great however. Overall, I would definitely recommend Kantine and hope to be back when they have the spätzle with onions and cheese.

I settled on the Waves of Grain ale which I enjoyed. We ordered #1 pizza - toppings were very good but the crust was ordinary (did not eat the crusts, a sure sign of a lackluster dough). Service was friendly but spare (it's almost all self-serve, so not much of a role for staff except to direct confused patrons). The space was open with lots of seating. They have a beer "Vending Area" area. You get a cash card then you pick and dispense your beer of choice. It's a great concept. Since I'm as newbie, I tried a small sample of several to find my favorite out of about 30 in-house brews. Then I got a full glass and sat down to some local entertainment. Tonight's band was "Twice Is Nice". A couple of talented guys who can sing pretty good, playing the music of Tom Petty, James Taylor & Elton John and a few of their own. After a few beers, We ordered food from the other "Vending Area". "Plan your own pizza" Sauce, cheese, toppings. Pick it up at the window when your buzzards goes off. The pizza was just "Ok". The giant pretzel was tasty. All said, the home brewed beer and the entertainment made this a great experience.
