    Schnitzel sandwich, hotdog and fries

This was a somewhat hidden gem, the hot day was fantastic and the schnitzel sandwich was outstanding (easily as big as my head!

Other than parking (street parking was free til 2 today) it was a very good experience. The service was friendly and the food very tasty.

I mean, look at the picture!! Do you need to know anything else?! Loved everything about this sandwich, from the pretzel bun to tangy sauce, to giant crispy schnitzel, part of which I cut off and took home for later. The fries were delicious and I even got them rot/weiss (with mayo and ketchup) just like I always had in Germany! I also got a side of curry to try ($1 extra I think) and it was very good too. It was a cold day, so we sat inside at Queen City Radio and had a beer, and they texted when the food was ready. Honestly, we came here for the food though and I can't wait to go back!

I was looking forward to going to Queen City Radio and was pleased to find out that this was the food option available. If you don't already know, Cincinnati is known for their German food. It's this interesting history tidbit that I recommend you explore. Anyway, I was looking forward to trying some food while I was out and about. I can't really break down this establishment into all of the categories that I usually do for restaurants, because it is more of a food stand. I will say that their hours are mainly Thursday through Saturday, with the exception of FCC games. Anytime there is a home game, they will be present. If you're looking to dipping your toe into German cuisine, I think this is a safe bet to try. Food (5/5) Like I said, I knew I wanted schnitzel. They advertise this awesome sandwich that had the delicious fried pork accompanied by lettuce and tomato on a pretzel bun. I was shocked when I received my sandwich, in a positive way. It is huge. I definitely think this is some thing that two people could eat. The schnitzel was perfectly fried. The pretzel bun had a great texture and was salted nicely. There is an aïoli sauce on it, which you should ask for more of to spread along the remaining schnitzel. I think you should get fries in addition to the sandwich if you are looking for a full meal. I saw a lot of other people ordering their pretzels, which also looked really good. The sandwiches only $11 and I think well worth the cost. This is a tremendous value. Service (4.5/5) The staff were nice and attentive. They gave me the additional sauce without any issue. They look for you in the bar area when your food is ready. I really hope that if anyone is wanting to try something new, that they give this establishment their business.

When you hear the term "Food Truck" you may conjure up images of generic dishes hastily put together in order to serve the most customers in the least amount of time. However, this could not be further from reality with this business. By the grace of God, we got the opportunity to visit this establishment on a Cincy Food Tour (The OTR Signature Tour). Another review for another today because THIS review is all about the amazing, flavorful, and authentically German cuisine offered up by this establishment. The owner/chef hails from the German town after which his business is named and we got the opportunity for him to sit down with his wife and business partner along with our group and hear a little bit of the history and inspiration behind each one of his German dishes. You could tell by the way he talks about his dishes along with how they tasted, that he definitely has a passion for serving up authentic, from-scratch meals. Included with the tour was a platter fit for a King (or Queen). It had about 8 or so samples of some of the items he serves. Every single thing we tried was amazing and I can't wait to go back to Queen City Radio to get me hands on some schnitzel or currywurst. And as for that mushroom gravy....absolutely wunderbär! What a perfect establishment to try if your looking for German cuisine in a city with so much German heritage. Give this place a visit you won't be disappointed!

I wish I took more pictures of the food, but take my word for it - this place is incredible. I am a huge fan of German food and have tried many places in the area, but the Lubecker has something special going on. They are set up as a food truck inside Queen City Radio bar. The schnitzel sandwich was huge and tasted fresh and delicious. The pretzel did not disappoint and I will be back to try everything else on the menu!

Excellent German food! The Service is Superb! Schnitzel Sandwich, Currywurst, Northern German Potato Salad, Käsespätzle; Lecker....

Currywurst was very tomato-forward and wurst itself was overpowered. No spatzle on game days.

Tried the burger with Swiss (a special), the currywurst (great snack for all to try) and the German hot dog, I forget the name.

Great restaurants and shops in and near Findlay Market, Cincinnati!…read more We had a free day while visiting relatives, and any day is fun at Findlay Market in the mid-north of the OTR (Over The Rhine) area of Cincinnati! (Well, not Mondays when they are closed :-). Parking isnt free, but it's not too expensive, and we had no problem finding a space in the North Parking Lot between Findlay Street and the market. We came in through a covered outdoor walkway, with a few vendors and with clever sayings along the sides. Then a cute photo-op with a cartoon Reds statue. Then the market stretching left and right, full of fresh produce, meats and cheese, and ready-to-eat foods of all kinds. On our first walkthrough we just scanned left and right to see some of what's there. It was busy, but not uncomfortably crowded. Out the south door of the market onto Elder Street, there's several murals, and more shops and restaurants. We always stop in at Maverick Chocolate Co. for a few yummy samples from so many flavors. They used to make the chocolate here, and now it's made just across the river in KY, where you can still get tours and probably samples :-). We sampled around six varieties! And decided on four. But it was a hot day, so we decided to circle back later for our purchases. The staff was welcoming, and maybe they didn't really know that we would return, but they were still just as kind as can be :-). We walked west to Elm Street to the stop for the free Connector streetcar, just to take a little ride around town, partly to see some of the hundreds of murals around town! And we got off again, later, at the same stop. Right there at the west end of the Market building there's an outdoor bar and patio. I, myself, was ready for a little refreshment, and they poured me a delicious local bourbon cocktail, while others of us had local craft beers. We found shaded seating among probably 20 or more round red metal tables, with chairs that were really raucous when moved! The seats fill and empty in fits and spurts, and there"s a handful of backless stools at the bar, so if you wait a little, you'll find a place to sit. We dove back into the market for some freshly-made pierogis, and a to nearby bbq, too. And afterwards, we circled back to Maverick for delicious fresh-made artisanal chocolate :-). Yum, yum, and more yum! We saw so many places we want to return to! Findlay Market has everything! I'll post a very few of so many photos that we took of a full, fun day. It's a nice area to walk around, shop, eat, and drink. And it's a great spot to catch the Connector streetcar to get around OTR and downtown Cincinnati, to within a-few-minutes-walk of the porch-swings overlooking the Ohio River near the ballpark :-)

I recently stopped here when me and my wife were in town in cincinnati. I've been to Cincinnati…read moretons of times but I've never visited the Findlay Market. This place was better than most of the Markets that I've been to in recent memory! Some of them are bigger but this one is a medium-sized Market to say the least. They have great produce in one section by the parking. Great variety of stores. I do like the outdoor tables as well. The cons I will say about the Findlay Market are the parking. You are expected to download an app and pay for parking that way instead of just getting a QR code that will redirect you and put in your payment information and the other con is once you leave the Farmers Market there really isn't much to really see or do since it's kind of blighted from a 1 block radius of leaving the market
