What does an apres ski place do in the summer? Open up its outside and serve great food uncluttered from the ski rush. We came on a weekend night and it was still buzzing inside (and out) but we found a table and were warmly greeted. Got a Kona Big Wave and they have lots on tap to choose from. The chicken park sandwich (which they added to the menu after so many requests) was worth the hype. The homemade marinara and panko crusted chicken were both how I love it. The pulled pork sandwich was also very good and they smoke their meat on site. Overall, a perfect way to spend a warm summer evening! Cool vibes outside.

Great good, great service. Enjoyed our lunch after a day of hiking. Guys enjoyed a few beers too

This is my favorite place and I don't say that lightly. Food is amazing. Service is ultimate. And ambiance... can I say perfection. Order the buffalo chicken and BBQ. I always hate to review a hidden gem because you make it more difficult to enjoy, but they deserve it. Can I say Aprés ski perfection? Best food in Ludlow, hands down.

Located in a ski area. Local bar. No frills. A little on the dingy side (menus were sticky, place needed a good dusting). However, food portions were huge and everything was good. I was disappointed for a BBQ theme they ran out of brisket. Pulled pork was excellent, sandwhich very good. Kids quesadilla was adult size. Chicken wings were pricey but very good. Nacho portions looked humongous. All in all worth another visit.

Just so everyone knows, there's no dessert here. BUT aside from that the place is awesome (and our waiter made me a drink that may have been better than dessert. Had just about everything chocolate related in it). The French dip is one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly made. And the French onion soup was really great too. A perfect bowl after a long day on the mountain. Didn't try the wings but from what I hear they were well made! Drink wise, great selection of beers, well made mixed drinks, and obviously the great dessert drink. The shot ski is kinda lame, the shot glass barely fit in it, but I don't think anyone's used it in years since it took them a while to even find the thing. Overall definitely the spot to go if you're in the area. Just beware of the crowd because it definitely gets crowded.

Went there for the first time yesterday. Quiet rainy late October Saturday. There is nothing not to like. Fabulous cozy atmosphere with memorabilia hanging everywhere. Possibly the best chicken wings I have ever had. Perfect jerk spices with the right balance of crisp on the outside and tender meatiness on the inside. Great beer selection, friendly staff. Next time I need to try the brisket or pulled pork! I'm sure the place is rockin on a ski weekend. Their motto is "warm beer, lousy food, grumpy owner". Don't believe it!

My friend, Kate, told me this was her favorite place to eat so I had to try it out. I must say I didn't know what to expect walking into this tiny bar that was using paper plates for food. But my eyes deceived me and the food was amazing. We had the steak for an appetizer. It came with a peanut slaw and together they were so tasty I could have ate that for my whole meal. Kate ordered her favorite chicken Philly cheesesteak wrap and I ordered a SMALL poutine. I emphasis small because the "small" was the size of my plate. After taking a few bites I determined this was the best poutine I ever had. It had perfect ratios of fries, gravy, and cheese curds. Most importantly, the fries remained crunchy and didn't get soggy. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a bar in the area with above average food.

The waitress was so rude I literally just stood up and left. The Mexican place down the street on Pond was great- service was polite.

And this year was THE YEAR to hit up Vermont for skiing b/c they got more snow than they've gotten in almost a decade--so the skiing was the best east coast skiing I've experienced ever! And, if you're in Vermont skiing, you must drop by Main Mountain Bar & Motel. We weren't staying there as motel guests, but we heard that Main Mount was the place for fancy cocktails... and whoever told us this information was spot on!! Every cocktail we tried at Main was unique and super tasty. My favorite was the Good 'Ol Boy cocktail, but I also recommend the New England Sour--it's like a Whiskey Sour but with Mulled Wine and Cocoa on top. As for atmosphere and service, both are great! The interior decor is more like a cozy (but slightly modern) mountain house library (an atmosphere you might expect in a hip Brooklyn bar), and it's very inviting! And the bartender and servers are amazing and really friendly. As for food, we didn't try any on the first visit, but we ended up going back to Main Mountain on our last night of the trip b/c we found out that, on Sundays, they host a burger night! Ummm... yes!!!! So, we went back, I had another Good Ol' Boy, and we downed some yummy Smash Burgers and French Onion Mac & Cheese! Oh, and PLEASE order a side of their pickles! They are life-changing! Bottom line = check out this bar if you are in Ludlow, Vermont for skiing at Okemo or just visiting for some other reason. You are sure to love it like we did.

We ordered a few drinks and appetizers prior to our dinner plans. The wings are a must try as we had both the buffalo and maple sriracha wings. Both were extremely well seasoned and flavored. All of our drink were delicious. My raspberry sour is definitely a new favorite. It was a very short drive and the parking facilities were good .. the interiors and seating were good too. Lots of space inside to sit and drink. Service was good, and the waitress was always smiling and took care of us well. Being a brewery one thing that surprised me was they just had one IPA on the tap.. just one IPA.. can you believe it? I was eager and waiting to drink a home grown New England/Vermont IPA but all we had there was one variety... it was a hazy IPA and don't get me wrong. It tasted really well... but I wish they had more options. They also had a wheat ale and some wine varieties.... Even in the food front, the menu was limited and less options.. We ordered chicken wings, and it was ok. Sauce was a bit sweet .. one of the sauces was really good and spicy . Overall, it fell short of my expectation and wish they had more food and drink options.. 3 stars ...

That's a problem imo. I ordered the chicken Milanese. Sooooooo much arugula salad but that was dressed nicely. The chicken was super crispy but it was easy to tell it had been fried earlier and reheated. It was so dry! The pasta was delicious. The steak tips were not marinated as advertised.
