Solid bar food after a long day of skiing. My group of 5 waited about 45 minutes on a Friday night but we grabbed some drinks at the bar and listened to the live music while we waited. Appetizers: Cornbread, brisket nachos, Caesar salad, gochujang rub chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. Everything was solid and the portions were pretty large, so we were decently full by the time our entrees came. Entrees: pork belly tacos, brisket tacos, salmon tacos and the prime rib wrap. I loved the prime rib wrap - it was well stuffed with meat and the outside was crispy from the grill. Dessert: the brookie (brownie + cookie) skillet was delicious! Came here on a Friday night around 5 and we were seated quickly. Service was prompt and we had a great time. They have a great selection of beers from all around Vermont and I contemplated getting a flight before settling on a selection. We got the southwestern egg rolls as an appetizer and they were so delicious and cheesy! They were too appealing to be photographed before consumption. I got the salmon tacos and they were delicious. The salmon was flavorful and perfectly cooked with a crispy texture. I was pretty impressed at how big the portion of salmon for each taco was. We'd definitely stop by here again in the future for dinner. By the time we left, the dinner rush was in full effect with people waiting for a seat and I can see why! read more

Staying the weekend in the Access Road for World Cup and saw this place so gave it a try. Great curb appeal and cozy feel inside. Place was buzzing with people but we were able to grab to seats at the bar. I bit crowded at the bar but we were greeted by two friendly bartenders. They quickly took our drink order and we settled in. There was live music and the noise level was perfect. We could enjoy the music and still have a conversation. We grabbed a few apps (bbq wings and the southwest eggs rolls) Both were cooked perfect and full of flavor. Great ski town vibe, friendly staff, good location and tasty beers and food. This place had a great vibe to it. My boyfriend and I were staying at the inn next door and came here for an early dinner and drinks. We ended up staying for several hours after getting a spot at the bar, but it filled up quickly after we arrived. Good service at the bar and live music. Lots of hard ciders on the menu. The street corn dip was our favorite - it was to die for! We were less impressed by the crispy chicken nachos - they didn't have quite enough toppings. We got the pulled pork mac and cheese to go and ate it for several meals after - huge serving size and lots of pork. Would love to go back and try more of their unique menu items! read more

How is it that the mountains and the beaches can have the same vibe? This is one of those places that proves it's possible. Move the whole thing to a beach community, reduce the clothing, and boom it will work there too. They don't seem to take much seriously, except food and hospitality. read more

We are in Killington for the week, and we've already eaten here twice...on the same day. That's how much we loved it. Our first meal was lunch on a Monday. We had just come in from a hike, and we were ready to eat! I had a salad with grilled salmon. My husband had a brisket platter with corn bread and amazing cinnamon butter. Our server was super friendly and told us about Music Bingo that night. We also spoke to someone (maybe the owner?) about winning the People's Choice Award at the recent Macaroni and Cheese bake-off. Holy moly did the Rivershed's sound good! Super creative and served in a chip bag for a walking dish. Anyway, we decided to go back for dinner and try Music Bingo. I had a shrimp taco rice bowl (all taco dishes can be made into rice bowls). The rice was a bit too spicy for me, but the guacamole and shrimp were super tasty. I loved the addition of red cabbage too. My husband had a salad with grilled chicken, and he thought it tasted great. Music Bingo happens on Mondays. You get a bingo card with a specific category and then a whole bunch of songs. Dave, the DJ, plays the songs, and you mark them off. Dave, the bartender, keeps everyone happy with drinks. The first game went on for about an hour with plenty of game variations and opportunities to win. All winners receive an entry into a drawing for a $20 gift certificate to the restaurant. Seating is inside or outside. There are two rooms inside for dining: one is by the kitchen and one is by the bar. The menu offered so many options for me as a pescatarian, including lobster mac and cheese (too rich for me right now in the 90 degree heat of summer). This place is solid! Honestly, really tasty food. They make their own dressings and the blue cheese & balsamic were delicious. My husband had a smash burger and I had wings and a house salad. Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated in a skiing theme. Our waiter, Jeff, was attentive and kind. A small, but cozy restaurant. Food tasted great! I enjoyed the shrimp tacos, large portions. Pulled pork Mac n cheese was good also. We had desserts but they weren't that great - the waffle dessert was over fried lol - better off just toasting the waffle and not deep frying it as it was burnt & rock hard, couldn't chew it.
