Tator tot scramble

Solid brunch and burgers near the slopes! This was our last stop during our Killington ski trip and it did not disappoint. Great food, live music, attentive staff, cozy decor... Rivershed has it all. Lots of different beer, cocktails, food, there's something for everyone.

The fried pickles were so so good! Chipotle dip was a nice addition. Always love the atmospheric interior to this establishment. Burger was good but needs a sauce, too much stuff without a sauce paired with it. Service was fine as usual.

This place had a great vibe to it. My boyfriend and I were staying at the inn next door and came here for an early dinner and drinks. We ended up staying for several hours after getting a spot at the bar, but it filled up quickly after we arrived. Good service at the bar and live music. Lots of hard ciders on the menu. The street corn dip was our favorite - it was to die for! We were less impressed by the crispy chicken nachos - they didn't have quite enough toppings. We got the pulled pork mac and cheese to go and ate it for several meals after - huge serving size and lots of pork. Would love to go back and try more of their unique menu items!

Nashville Hot Chicken and Truffle Fries were AWESOME!!!

Nashville hot chicken and truffle fries were amazing! Atmosphere was great ... live music playing...plenty of parking. Will be back next season!

Flights and nachos! How can you go wrong?

How is it that the mountains and the beaches can have the same vibe? This is one of those places that proves it's possible. Move the whole thing to a beach community, reduce the clothing, and boom it will work there too. They don't seem to take much seriously, except food and hospitality.

Rivershed is a lively restaurant that was full of vehicles. Food we tried: shed benny (chicken and waffles) - really good, chicken was moist. Fried pickles - they were lightly fried and lots of pickles, yum Tacos - tacos were okay the rice lacked flavor Good morning burger - really flavorful, thick delicious bacon. Ordered beers, mimosas, and espresso martinis. Everything was great, only thing I'd skip is the espresso martini and the rice that comes with the tacos. All the other entrees were really flavorful.

Special-barbecue chicken wrap-DELICIOUS!

Food and servers were OUTSTANDING! I've never loved a wrap like I did here. Toasty on the outside-a special for the night with barbecue chicken-their fries were perfect! And that pretzel with kielbasa/sausages was a meal itself! What a treat!

Mac & Cheese with pulled pork

Nestled in the resort town of Killington VT, the Rivershed offers a traditional VT tavern feel. Fresh after their stick season break the Rivershed is open for business! I enjoyed the corn bread appetizer as a starter for my Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork meal. The Rivershed has a great selection of local crafts and a nice variety of mixed cocktails. Our server was friendly and provided excellent service. The Rivershed is top notch and a must visit when near Killington!

Pulled chicken sandwich

It tasted good but look how they served me this chicken sandwich for takeout.. like they shook it violently before handing it over

This is the Disneyland of food and beer. Most amazing experience I have ever had. Can't wait to go back again. If we could give 10 starts we would!!!

Food and service were good. Be prepared for long waits in ski season. Nice touch: jumbo Uno cards to play while waiting.

We got the mussels which were the highlight of the meal for me. The white wine sauce was so delicious, there's something I couldn't put my finger on, but it set it apart from others I've had. In all honesty, the entrees were just normal Italian food, it was good but nothing earth shattering. The reason this place is a 10/10 is because of the mussels, it's so good!

We were first on line at 4:45 and by 4:55 there were several folks waiting behind us. We got a wonderful booth and were immediately served. Atmosphere is cozy and like being in a grotto. The fresh bread with roasted whole garlic, Parmesan and olive oil was so good and they brought us a second baguette as we had mussels and spinach Italiano to start. Good selection of beverages - local brews on draft. The kid's menu has a choice between a pasta dish - linguine or penne with marinara, butter or puttanesca - with meat balls as an add on. It is a lot of food for a kid and we brought back leftovers. My husband enjoyed his ahi tuna with potatoes and roasted tomato. My chicken piccata was perfectly cooked and flavorful with the capers. We were full, but could not resist ordering the tiramisu. The tiramisu was light and not overly sweet with drizzle of chocolate, lady fingers with a dash of espresso. Definitely worth coming back next time we come out to ski in Killington.

Out server was super friendly getting our orders and letting us know when our food was going to come out. This was going to be our burger night of the trip and Charity's Classic Smash with fries was a great choice. Regular fries were decent, but I think the sweet potato fries (waffle cut!) were better. Charity's has a big drink menu. It was tough to decide among all the local ciders, but I went for the Mountain Water canned cocktail from the distillery up the road in Killington. It was so good! Disappointed I can't find it anywhere to buy around my area. They take reservations, so I recommend that if you want to get a table just in case you arrive on a crowded night like we did! It's a warm and casual atmosphere inside. I imagine it's quite cozy during the busy ski season.

We only stopped in here for an afternoon drink because our room wasn't ready. It was a Thursday, and once we looked and saw a $25(!!!) lobster special, we told the bartender we'd be back for dinner. We returned a few hours later and sidled up to the bar. The same bartender we had chatted with before quickly served us drinks and we ordered clam chowda --- we're tourists, we had to! It was phenomenal, and I enjoyed every bite. Once we saw that the lobster special is an actual, full, lobster --- not just the tail, but the entire thing --- we decided to split it. I'm glad we did because there was so much meat on that! It was a challenge to break through, but I'm glad we did it. And for $25, it was worth every crack. We enjoyed a couple more drinks and decided we could share one more item. We ordered the smash burger and subbed creamed corn for the side. It was an excellent way to close out a fantastic evening. Shortly after, we closed out and walked back to the hotel. If you find yourself in Killington and want a chill place, kind and patient service, and great food, I highly recommend stopping here. If we are ever back in the area, we'll definitely come by.
