Great food options, friendly staff, best Mac and cheese I've ever had. Would recommended going after a day of skiing

After a week in Killington my wife and I officially became obsessed with Rivershed. We couldn't go enough times and we missed it as soon as we left. Rivershed is literally my definition of the perfect restaurant. The food was amazing! In our many visits we had a bbq combo plate which was to die for (oh that brisket and ribs!) the chicken tacos (SO good and the perfect size) the wings (meaty, not greasy and perfect) as well as many whiskey cocktails. We were lucky enough to see some amazing live music when we were there which was just the icing on the cake. The vibe is perfect, the staff in welcoming and kind, the food is amazing and the music is top notch. We cannot wait to return! read more

Great food, live music, and very good beer list. Great service too! Good parking and location in Killington. I recommend this place!

A MUST for those visiting Killington! Awesome food with a wide variety of choices. Burgers, melts, and tacos were all a perfect 10. I would give them more stars if I could. The staff went above and beyond to make our large party experience truly memorable. Their exceptional service and HELPFUL staff added an extra layer of enjoyment to the delicious meal. An amazing waitress and chef that I did not get the name of went far and above to help us get unstuck and on our merry way after dinner was such a blessing. The people of Vermont are truly so kind. Highly recommended!! read more

Ordered takeout which was ready when the promised but was just OK. Fish tacos were flavorless, "loaded" tacos were mostly chips but the southwest eggroll was good Wouldn't order again for takeout read more

Nice family place for a quick bite to eat after a day outdoors. Service was friendly and quick. Particularly liked the fried pickles and dip sauce. Worth going back to read more

Stopped in along our road trip for a quick bite. The cornbread and honey butter started everything off right. I had the Mac and cheese with chicken and bacon added in. Sooooo good. It was also very filling. Great hot meal on a rainy day. read more

We read in another review that this is the best mac and cheese in Vermont - the people were right. What the other reviews fail to mention is that everything is actually delicious and the tacos are GIANT. They also have the coolest to go containers I've ever seen. read more

Great food, friendly service, killer beer, and great ambiance! Couldn't ask for any more!

We came for the weekend and ate here every single day for several reasons: - The first night I had brisket tacos and was super impressed by how perfectly cooked the brisket was as well as the freshness of toppings and sides. Even the dirty rice was spot on. - Next day, after snowboarding all day, I got a basic chicken finger appetizer while my husband got the fish n' chips. Both were light and perfectly fried. So simple but so delicious. Battered and fried to order which made all the difference. - Last day we got a burger, a prime rib wrap, and macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese had a smokey flavor. The wrap was filled with tender prime rib and plenty of flavor. The burger was on point as well according to my husband. - The food was consistent and reliable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Finally, the overall atmosphere was low key and cozy. We loved this place and will certainly be back. read more

Skratch Kitchen - VT's best kept Secret - Hands down some of the best food I've had in Vermont and have been coming up here for since i was in diapers. My wife and 2 kids ( 5 & 7) are big foodies and difficult to impress. We strolled in on a whim since we were staying at the woods across the street. Extremely clean, well maintained and amazing atmosphere with live music. First night we shared a few apps "side of sausage", "corn dip" and had salads for dinnr, our kids both had chix fingers and fries. The chicken fingers were home made not something out of a bag frozen. We Came back the next night and tried the "crispy Brussels" & egg rolls, they were bomb! Tacos and fried chicken sandwich followed, topped it off with the "brookie" dessert. Equally as impressed the 2nd night. If your looking for real food made from scratch and not the typical Vermont ehh dishes than this is your place. I promise you will not be disappointed! Friendly staff, very attentive, and well mannered. The only thing i can't understand is anyone giving this restaurant a bad review, unless it's local competition that's envious of this place nailing every plate they serve, and if that's the case come and take notes from the chef here ! I wish the owners of this place nothing but the best for many many years to com. Thank you for the hospitality ! read more

Great food. Great service. Great ambiance Feel fortunate to have come early and beat the rush.

The food here is really good. Best Mac and cheese on the mountain. Cute atmosphere and friendly staff. This place is a must when in Killington. read more

Extremely terrible service. The waiter's attitude was horrible from start to end. Completely unacceptable and disappointing.

Excellent, and not too long to wait on a busy Saturday night after a full day of skiing! We had the honey cornbread starter (in its own cute little skillet), chicken tacos, the chicken plucker, a spinach salad and an amazing Vermont double IPA and some sorta local seltzer/cider. Probably the best food @ Killington! read more

Great space, friendly staff, good food. I'm GF, they have the bun. And a lot of options on the menu to choose from. Drinks are tasty too. And the music is always good. read more

I went with a friend on Friday April 21st. The place was packed, but we managed to find a pair of seats at the bar. Rhonda waited on us, and provided us with excellent service in spite of the crowded bar. I was hungry and ordered some dinner as well as a bowl of the gumbo. The gumbo was excellent. It had a bit of tang without being overwhelming and smoked chicken really added to the flavour. For my entree, I had the melt sandwich. It was phenomenal , the melted cheese was the perfect level of poet-gooey. We grabbed an order of nachos to go, planning ahead for late night munchies. I added the pulled pork to the order and it did not disappoint. Although initially hesitant of the $8 up charge the pulled-pork added, it was worth every penny of the extra $8. I live and work down in Bethel and will be telling my coworkers about the awesome food Monday morning. I'll be back. read more

as soon as you walk in, it smells like heaven, the area is warm and comforting, and our waitress (unfortunately didn't get her name) was absolutely incredible, she very busy but still made our experience so memorable, extremely friendly and just a sweet soul. i really wish we got her name because i highly suggest everyone going just for her presence alone, she has brown hair, the sides are shaved, she's incredible and if you ever see this i want you to know you're doing so incredible you're such a good person i hope the best for you and your family. the food was also absolutely amazing i've never had food so good before, i got the BBQ pulled pork and the first bite literally put me in a trance, it was so juicy, savory, and their house BBQ sauce added such a incredible touch to the whole meal, and their homemade honey mustard EVERYTHING about this restaurant is phenomenal PLEASE GO! and please tip well they deserve it so much read more

Sunday night trivia and a great varied menu. We had 8 people in tow all with different taste and some with dietary needs. Our waitress handled every curve ball we threw at her with ease. Even though we had a large group she kept on top of all our needs. Terrific drinks were dispensed from the bar with no problem keeping up with our wanting to try everything on the menu. Can't wait for our next ski trip to hit up the Rivershed. read more

Great food, great beer and great live music! We came here after skiing all day and were famished. We started with the nachos and added brisket to because we couldn't make up our mind with the all good menu options. Our nachos arrived super fast, which we were so happy. The time spaced btw appetizers and meal was appropriate. Our waitress was awesome. Food awesome! What more could you ask for! read more

Best new addition to the Killington restaurant scene. Lively atmosphere on a Saturday night in February. There was a wait but we didn't mind, the live music duo were great. It's a Tennessee inspired bbq place, but you can tell the kitchen is paying attention to the little details. Hostess and waitstaff were super friendly. Our waiter suggested the Southwestern egg rolls and they were delicious. Cesar salad was good, if a little heavy on the dressing. The burgers are smash burgers and they're excellent. I had the spicy Italian sausage special which was very tasty. read more
