Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst service I've had all year. Being understaffed wasn't the issue--we were patient and in no rush. The real disappointment was our server's dismissive, passive-aggressive attitude from the moment we sat down. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like a burden. By the time the food finally arrived--over 1.5 hours later--half of our table had already walked out. I love the ambiance of this place! This distillery is attached to an adorable Inn in Killington, VT. While a little more pricey than other restaurants in the area, this one is definitely worth your time! I went after the Killington Cup without a reservation and luckily we were still able to be seated. The restaurant had live music that Saturday night and we were offered the option to sit by the music or in a quieter space. We opted for by the music because the vibes in that part of the restaurant are much more cozy. We split the house salad that had a sweet Dijon mustard as well as a flatbread pizza. The flatbread was a bit undercooked for my liking, but the salad was solid. The food surrounding us looked delicious and I wish that I was in town longer to try more. We stopped in for a bite and glad we did. We met the owner, KP, who introduced us the Jared, the manager who sat us as soon as we entered the establishment. Quest was our server and he had water on the table in seconds. We had the 6 wing appetizer and loved the sauce! My wife ordered the salmon and told Quest the way she liked it cooked. I ordered the meatloaf dinner and an Old Fashion. The orders came out perfect. The salmon was done to perfection and she loved the sauce on it too. Two healthy portions of meatloaf were on my plate with the mashed potatoes and perfectly grilled mixed vegetables. The Old Fashion was made with the spirit made in house and was probably the best Old Fashion I've had in years. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the spectacular weather. There was a young man playing a guitar and singing away, not too loud as to distract you from your conversation. The bartender and wait staff were very friendly and attentive. I had a spicy margarita that was on the sweet side with no real spice. This see to be a regular margarita with a couple of jalapeños thrown in. The pita and hummus appetizer was delicious. The pita was toasted crispy, and the hummus was very flavorful. I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes for my meal and it was meh. The highlight of the evening was the live music outside. The band was really amazing and enjoyable. read more

The vibe in the place is warm and fun , they had live music and made the experience even better . Now save the best for last , the food ... can we say 10 stars for the food ? Everything we had was delicious! We started with the pita chips and tzatziki which were so fresh and delicious! My husband and I both got the meatloaf based upon the waiter's recommendation and it was beyond delicious! My son got the kids pasta and the meatball appetizer- he said "it is so good". Drinks were amazing. I highly recommend the strawberry Lemonade (vodka drink) and my husband enjoyed their Manhattan. Overall, an amazing dinner with great service! Ok for the sake of convenience, this place is good- a minute away from Killington, Also for the staff, this place is good: the bartender was sweet and attentive It was a Friday night and they were having a comedy night which we missed. Although it seemed well attended. We went there once on Friday and got a similar order for pickup the following day. We got the french fries to start. They come with some mayo dressing/dip on top- it was good in house, but I would not get the to-go again. They had brought the food out on a plate before the server reminded them it was supposed to be to-go so I'm sure they just slid the food into containers, but the fries to go were just a soggy mess immediately. The lamb burger was good! It came with a house salad (or fries) and it was well cooked, large enough to justify it. I got a salad with a piece of salmon added. In house, this was good, really good even. When we got it to go once again I was disappointed. The salad part was fine but when we first saw the salmon it was half the size of the one we had the night prior and once I cut into it, I realized it was pretty raw in the middle. Really grateful we were staying so close because I called them and even though they were closed, they put a new one on the grill and we went to pick it up. It was much better that time, but for $10 additional, the original salmon should have been a larger size (the second was larger). They had a couple games on the TVs and the vibe was relaxing and warm just what you need for a dinner after a ski day. We didn't get any drinks but the bartender was great so I bet they would've been good too. We got stuck on the ice in the parking lot and a couple other people mentioned they have too- it feels like they should have some salt on that, but I'm not blaming them. The parking lot is shared with the hotel the restaurant is in. Why do they close so early though? That was really surprising that the kitchen closed at 9. Apparently, since it was earlier (early Dec) in the season they were still in off-season hours and soon they'll be open up to 10. read more

We were only here for a drink. Was attracted by the distillery sign so thought to give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised by this bar, it feels cozy and rustic. Wide choice of liquor and food menu. Even though we didn't eat, the food looked pretty good. We had the Elderberry lemonade, Vermont mule, and a Manhattan. Everything was great, the bartender is very knowledgeable of the liquor. They have a open game room upstairs with some round high top tables and chairs, darts, shuffle board, and corn hole. Love the food, the spirits, and the bartenders -- however after my recent visit I planned to spend $200 on gin, but the gift shop was closed. There was a sign saying it was "always open", please see a member of the staff for assistance. I asked one of the servers who said he would help, but he was too busy with tables, so after five or so minutes of waiting I chose to leave empty handed. I'm only sad because the gift shop was open when I walked in, so I assumed it would be open on the way out. That coupled with the 10% discount made me want to wait to shop for the exit... but then I couldn't buy any. read more

A nice spot to grab a bite or drink after skiing. There's an outdoor area with fire pits as well as an indoor bar and dining area with fireplace. Ambiance is spot on. There's also a gift shop where you can buy maple whiskey or other liquors they feature in their drinks. The menu has a good assortment of entrees, sandwiches, flatbreads, and lighter appetizers. The burger was very good and I also enjoyed the fig and goat cheese flatbread. Randomly found this place last year on the way home from the mountain and this year we were luckily able to stay in the adjoining hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We stayed at the on-property hotel for some spring skiing in killington, and stopped by for dinner. The charcuterie board had a wonderful selection of locally sourced cheeses, smoked meats, glazed walnuts, baked apple and other treats. The french fries were crispy and robust, the burger was delicious with thick slices of crispy bacon. The fig flatbread was a wonderful mix of sweet and savory, and the banana pepper with chicken flat bread was bursting with flavor. Despite the fully loaded toppings, the flatbreads were nice and crispy, not soggy, which we lived. There was a separate dessert menu, but we were too full. Our family of 3 (with a 12 year old) really enjoyed our dinner and hopped in the heated hotel pool right after, a perfect day at killington in my book! read more

We went here for my husband's 40th bday dinner with a group of 7 of us. The server started off nice but something happened throughout the night and he turned sour and was giving us a lot of attitude for ordering more cocktails, or more water, or whatever else! It was very weird. He also got 1 of our orders wrong but tried to tell the person that's what they ordered. A few of us remembered her order and said that's not what she ordered but he gave such an attitude about it. He also failed to tell us about the specials of the night and we only saw them written on a board when we were leaving. The vibe upstairs is also completely different than the vibe downstairs. I don't recommend upstairs but downstairs is fun when there's live music. Overall, the food was okay, nothing to rave about, and the service was crappy. We won't be rushing back here. read more

Yikes. The food was not good. The menu was promising - and the restaurant itself was really charming with outdoor seating - BUT all of our food (except the wings) was served cold. It was as if they forgot to bring it to us... or as if it was made yesterday and pulled out of the frig to bring to room temp before serving? Either way, super disappointing. The kale salad may have been worse than the cold fries and cold fried chicken sandwich. The kale wasn't cut into bite sized pieces and there wasn't nearly enough dressing. Kales salads need to be massaged with oil or acid - this was quite literally a bowl of greens. read more

Stayed here for two weeks working with an organization helping Vermont residents recover from the flooding. The staff was amazing and responsive. Many in the group I was with needed to be on the road by 0630. Although breakfast was include, it did not start until 0700. This was quickly changed so many of could enjoy the breakfast food and baking created by Jin Hee Desera. She agreed to come in early and provide breakfast to us all. The entrees are not very good and extremely expensive (eg, paella was $38 and consists of stovetop rice, chicken pieces, 2-3 pre-cooked shrimp and 3 overcooked mussels) and tortellini was $32 (nothing special). The place was empty and yet service was still sleepy. Employees loafed around while we sat unattended. Bar tender looked as if suicide could be an option. The flight of spirits we tried tasted like it was mass produced bottom shelf, too sweet and cheap. The burrata salad wasn't bad, the tomatoes were fresh and the cheese was pleasant.
