I had a cheddar cheeseburger with caramelized onions that was served with a side of steak fries. The burger was thick and juicy, and the fries were made from fresh-cut potatoes. A few waitresses told me that the potatoes are cut each morning and that the burger is made from a premium blend of beef. When I walked in, I noticed the wide open floor plan in the front, the bar in the middle, and then another open area in the back. They also had what seemed to be some really cool patio seating outside, which is probably awesome on a beautiful fall, spring, or summer day. All of the bartenders were really nice, and their drink selection was alright. I first ordered a margarita, which was pretty good for an Irish bar. My friend got a Stella, and I eventually switched to an IPA. Most importantly for an Irish dig, there were some really friendly patrons seated next to and near us, who told us about the area, and who chatted with us about baseball. All-in-all, Sean Og's was an awesome Irish pub experience. I would highly recommend it, and I will be back in the future!

I wish I could have taken some more pictures of the food but I could not stop 30+ people from eating while I ran around photographing there food. lol My burger and fries were perfect. My friend ordered the fish and chips and it wasn't what she expected. I got the mixed vegetables on the side and it really needed seasoning. Im glad I asked for the hot sauce earlier, but the salt and pepper which I also asked for never came. I also ordered the French onion soup which balanced out the bland vegetables. The place reminds me a ton of the Courtyard Ale House in Sunnyside, from the exterior to the darkly lit interior with an intimate bar setup. They too had an outdoor setup during the pandemic. The bartenders are friendly enough and the clientele is a lot of older folks that drink alone. There are some TVs, which are as small as the pub itself. The drink selection is pretty basic with some bottled beer and some limited taps. Whether it's a glass of Stella or a pint of Guinness, it's what most of the place is often drinking. There are some TVs playing sports and no food that I'm aware of. The plus side is that the drinks are going to be affordable and there is vibe is the least pretentious in the area. If one is looking for a simple ambiance with a little sports and a lot of local vibes, The Dugout completely fits the bill.
