The Dugout which is located right off the 7 train on the Woodside 61 Street stop is a nice neighborhood bar. I have been coming here for a few months and have always felt welcome. The Bar is full of regulars who enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow Irish countryman, but welcome newbies like me. I like the no frills atmosphere were real men can enjoy a great pint of Guinness and watch some sports on TV. The Bar is heavy into soccer, but all ESPN, MLB, MSG, etc are shown on some nice HD TVs. There is always someone to chat with about the local Teams or some politics. There is a dart board which you can play anytime and a weekly Dart Team sponsored by the Bar. On Wednesday's they have free poker sponsored by New York Free Poker. This is a lot of fun and everyone is welcome. No charge, just have a couple of drinks while you play. Great way to spend an evening without damage to your pocket book. Charlene is a great bartender who will make you feel welcome anytime. Joe the owner, funny guy who runs a clean safe Bar. If your looking for a neighborhood Bar in Woodside, were you can meet friends or watch a game, The Dugout is an excellent choice.

Close to the train, with a good basic beer selection and live music. Even though it's pretty small, they manage to fit a band in the place.

3 Stars for its location and prices. The bartender didn't give a flying f**k who we are no wonder the place was empty.

Good Place to Chill but no food and no girls. Good place to watch a Mets Game with the boys and grab a beer but don't go hungry.

Came here for a little small belated birthday dinner for a friend and we had a very nice time. We each just had a dish since we knew the portions are BIG. The menu is extensive and there was a lot to choose from. They even offer some Mexican and Italian dish options. I had the Grilled Skirt Steak (Monterey), which was SO BIG I had leftover for lunch the next day. :) the meat was pretty tender and juicy. The dish came with tostones (big) and rice. We were also served salads to start. What stands out a lot is the amazing service here. They are so polite, friendly, patient and helpful. The restaurant definitely seemed staffed properly which I suppose was a good thing because as the night progressed, the place filled up (for a Thursday night). My friends had the salmon and the Chicken Franchise. I took off just one star because they ended up charging my friends twice (but rectified the mistake), hopefully her funds will sort out. They also charge extra if you want to make any side substitutions... which isn't kind of crappy. The place is also beautifully decorated and spacious. Will def be back very soon! Next time we'll partake in an adult beverage maybe :)

I've experienced and enjoyed Colombian cuisine before, but unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the food at Barriles. We were with my brother, and the three of us shared the Ceviche Mixto, the Picada La Jefa, and Parrillada Barriles. The Picado La Jefa was the best in terms of flavor, due primarily to the sauce and guacamole. The Parrillada Barriles was surprisingly disappointing, despite the "wow" factor of the portion size. Everything on the platter was so overcooked and dry, and everything also lacked seasoning. It was almost inedible, but we took the leftovers home in the hopes of being able to repurpose them somehow since the dish cost $50. The ceviche was prepared in a traditional red sauce, which I had never had before. The texture of the seafood was decent, but I didn't care for the sauce. It tasted oddly sweet to me. Overall, I would not eat here again but would return for drinks.
