4 Piece Chicken Strips and Fries.

Well I have not been to this place in over twenty years, and I was quite impressed. The place is well lit and clean, even the bathroom's. Our cashier was patient and very polite, he even used his manners, which surprises me in this day and age. After a short amount of time, we received our food, everything was fresh and hot, and turned out to be very good. I only have nice things to say about this experience. So if you you like fish or chicken check them out.

Popeyes Chicken Strips! Yep! I ordered a two piece fish and chicken. Saw the Popeyes delivered by Door Dash, the man behind the counter paid for them and then disappear into the kitchen only to have reappear with them on my plate. The waiter insisted they were not Popeyes. But, they looked and tasted like old Popeyes chicken. The fish was not crispy at all. Instead of golden, brown and crispy, it was fried low and slow, to a dark turd brown to absorb as much grease as possible. The chips were fresh! Fresh from the bag! But, by their flavor we're not even name brand. Our appetizer, the fried cheese bread, was just that, a piece of sliced sandwich bread, dipped in fish batter and dismally fried like the fish. Topped with processed white cheese that had not melted. All for $5.86 and served after our main course. It was 6:00 pm. Out of approximately 30 tables, there were 7 customers. The meal was expensive. $78. Next time I eliminate the middle man, save some cash, and stop at Popeyes! Please take the UK flag down before you destroy our relationship with this country. Do not eat here!

The fish portions are top notch and fresh. The cocktail sauce is spectacular. The fries, not so much.

It was comfortable, quiet, and I enjoyed watching the bartender and the kitchen staff at work. We were in time for Happy Hour and I took advantage of the $4 draft beer (Farmer's Light - fruity and fun); my wife went upscale and had a regular-priced glass of merlot ($8). Both of us had the chicken cranberry salad - it was delicious, with lots of chicken. The bread was good, too. Our server kept us fed and watered and was very helpful and pleasant. For starters we had steamed clams, calamari and meatballs. For our mains we decided on their Bistro Filet Ravioli, which has Ricotta, Romano, Parmesan, and Asiago jumbo stuffed raviolis, creamy alfredo, chili flakes, topped with their signature pan-seared bistro filet tips. It was amazing. We also had their Ribeye steak at about $53.00. I think it was a 14oz hand-cut ribeye, and it had the best butter on it. It came with mashed Yukon potatoes and marinated asparagus. We will be getting all of this again. We were staying in a hotel so took home some great pasta. The service is great. The food is amazing and the place is just so cute and ever so clean.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

There's a good amount of seating for the size of the place and they had a small bar area which I thought was a nice touch. Solid little spot of people to stop by and grab a bite to eat.

There is a definite ocean/ seafood feel. I was greater by a shy but pleasant and friendly young lady. She was helpful with the menu options and helped me understand the different specials for the day. I ordered the 1-piece fish, fried cheese bread and cup of chowder with a drink for $16.49. And just because I was craving shrimp as well, I also ordered a shrimp cocktail. This ended up being a lot more good than I could eat, and quite honestly, a great deal for the amount of food for under $30 nowadays!! The cocktail sauce is great; it has a little spicy kick but not too much to ruin the shrimp. The clam chowder is awesome. There is a lot of clam pieces, the flavor is really good and it was very filling. The fish cooked perfectly and not overly breaded and not over cooked. I was very impressed. The fried cheese bread is weird "to me" but it has a good flavor. I just wasn't crazy about the texture. Overall, if you're in the area, this is a must stop. I'm so happy I ate dinner here.
