Tried Lazy Llama because I seen it as a must try in McDonough. The place was beautiful and decorated for the holidays. When we entered, it was a tad bit Smokey in the air. I think something might have burned but it was okay. When I went to order, I asked the baristas what to get and they gave me their recommendations. The baristas were really sweet and attentive. When my drink came, i I did not like it. I knew from the second I took it, it was not right because of the color. I tried it and did not taste any flavor. Fantastic first visit! The service was truly top-notch, and both coffees--the TCB and the Mocha--were excellent, perfectly crafted and full of flavor. The things my sister and I got were the blueberry cinnamon roll, the coffee flight, and the toffee vanilla crunch iced latte. * Blueberry cinnamon roll: This was part of their daily pastries that they make in house. It looked good. It wasn't my favorite thing because it wasn't sweet. * Coffee flight: The four choices were blueberry blonde, spicy honey, pistachio butter, and honey lavender. We visited a new (for us) coffee shop this morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. I am not a coffee conisuer, but this was really good. They had many options for coffee and morning foods. The shop was outfitted very quaint and Chrisian oriented. They had Christian music playing, very soothing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They walked us through their menu and offering, above and beyond. To to off this experience, the did offer a military discount. INEDIBLE drinks and pastry. Ordered several items, they were all so TERRIBLE we couldn't even force our way through them. Lukewarm at best, lattes made with water not milks somehow. No sweetener or promised flavorings. Not sure any espresso was actually used. Cinnamon roll dry and overdone on outside but dough in the middle with gritty frosting. Every single item FAILED EPICALLY. Threw it all away, unsalvagable. Really sad I wasted soooo much money. Never returning. Had to go in search of other coffee. Anywhere else is better. Don't waste a single dime here. The place seemed to have potential but bombed it. I don't leave bad reviews lightly, but wished someone had warned me. I was excited to stop by a new coffee spot in Henry County and I just tried out The Lazy Llama. This space is cute and cozy, the staff was nice and helpful and my iced coffee with oat milk is pretty good. Had I just stuck with coffee, I would've given The Lazy Llama a better review. However... I'd never had a savory crepe before and they sounded interesting. I got what the barista recommended, which was a crepe with chicken, cheese, onions, jalapeños and bbq sauce on the side. Once I started to eat it, I noticed it was 1. Extremely bland 2. Gooey and falling apart and 3. the chicken looks, smells and tastes like canned chicken which, if that's what they are using, is insane to charge upwards of $10 for one crepe. I took a few bites and really did not like it at all, so I just tossed it. Would I come back here for a coffee? Yes. But I'd go practically anywhere else for food. The Wendy's across the parking lot is serving better quality chicken than this place. read more

I decided to try the Lazy Llama yesterday after picking up some items from Publix. I loved the atmosphere so much that I brought my daughter their today. We had the Ultimate Breakfast Bagel. It was great. My hash browns could've cooked a smidge longer, but it was still a good sandwich. We both had decaf coffees. I had a eggnog and toffee crunch flavored decaf with oat milk. It was delightful. My daughter had a peppermint and eggnog flavored decaf coffee with oat milk. She loved it. The staff provided great customer service on both occasions. read more

Nutella strawberry and banana crepe is very good. Loaded French toast was good but a little too sweet for me with the whip cream and syrup. The breakfast sandwich was extremely overly salted and peppered to the point I almost couldn't eat it but I was so hungry. Everything else I've had here has been good. I use to get their lattes when I still drank coffee which were good but have since switched to matcha. Their matcha is just OK. Kinda bland with little flavor. We ate here for the first time this morning. I don't know what took us so long. Not only is the food delicious but the young ladies that waited on us today were so helpful and sweet. This spot is super cute. The strip mall vibe didn't do it justice as the inside was super cute and chill! Good amount of seating, real silverware, and awesome, and friendly customer service. The breakfast bagel (sausage, egg, and cheese) had two patties of sausage and was delicious. The everything bagels were yummy and the fresh cinnamon roll (heated) was not too sweet, lots of frosting (needed more cinnamon) but good portion! Drinks were yummy! Perfect place for a pick me up! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is delicious! I am unable to pick a favorite because I am always trying something new and enjoying each bite! I really enjoy this place. It's close to my home. I enjoying the dirty chai lattes and all coffee as there is a good choice menu for caffeine lovers. My son loves the Italian sodas and the many flavors. When we are wanting a snack they usually have parties and not all are delicious as sometimes they have been a little hard to eat. Going to update this and say that I tried their actual regular cup of coffee since I wanted to give it a chance being so close to home and I have to say it was really good. I've always liked the coffee without anything in it and always thought it was a more reliable reflection of the coffee you're drinking. Although I despise going to Starbucks, their decadent drinks are really great flavor wise although a lot has come out recently saying their drinks may be suspect. Maybe I didn't like what I got the first time since it wasn't what I usually would order and was too quick to judge but I did go ahead and skip food this time because I saw that the food still looked just as bland as last time, my wife got the crepes this time and she said that it was flavorless so I'm glad I stuck to my gut feeling not wanting to risk it. It's always really chic in there and cozy so I'll have to rate it up here. We bought some glasses that my wife and I use when we brew coffee at home. I've gone back twice as of this month before heading into Publix which is also super cool that it's in a nice plaza as well. read more

I've tired buying little desserts from them from time to time and the food is pretty dry....like sitting out for a few days type of dry and I don't like that.
