This place is probably the cleanest laundromat! They also have some of the best service! You can either do it yourself or for a bit more have them do it for you! They take excellent care of the clothing they launder and they do a great job of packaging and folding the laundry too! The fluff and fold service is really convenient and it's also really affordable compared to other places in Pasadena. I would highly recommend this place for anyone in need of a new laundry service or laundromat! read more

I come here when I am in the area and if I need to do my laundry. However, I wouldn't go out of my way for this place- it's just okay. Parking is always difficult in the shared lot out front. However, I always manage to call upon my parking karma and snag the last spot. The premises is always kind of tidy but not really clean. For instance, there are organized messes (which is fine but destroys some aesthetics) and there are weird stains and spots on the seats, ground and folding tables. It's okay if you overlook these details but I'm a very observant person. Prices are pretty standard; the cost to wash is about $2.50 and drying is $.25 per 15 minutes. read more

Needing a large front load washer for my queen sized comforter, I found this place on Yelp and I was initially attracted by the bougie lettering of the front placard. Inside there was plenty of washers and dryers and there were 4 industrialized washers for me to choose from. They also have a fluff and fold service, which I hear is fantastic in it's affordability and timeliness in pick up. The industry washer thoroughly cleaned my comforter. Plus you can customize the dryer time by adding more coins which is an extra plus! This place is definitely my go to for my laundry needs! read more

I've washed my clothes at the Colorado Blvd location. The washers and dryers are in good shape. the place is clean and the staff are very helpful. What I have discovered that I really like is fluff and fold for my sport shirts and casual pants. The pull them out of the dryer quickly and hang them almost wrinkled free. 10 pounds for $17. That worked out to be 9 shirts and 4 pants read more

Great service and fair prices. The facilities were clean, and I felt that my things were safe here. Worked on my computer while waiting for the load to finish. read more

First time ever using a laundromat, pretty straight forward with various sized machines. I'm not sure if pricing is competitive but a huge load of towels cost me 6 bucks for wash and drying. Facility is clean and they have 3 vending machines in the back. They have fluff and fold service as well. read more

I've never been this excited about a laundromat before. It's clean, it's huge, it's reasonably priced and the folks who work here are all very nice. I have used their wash/fold service several times now and LOVE it. They are so quick and do a great job. Highly recommend! read more

I know that prices have increased everywhere, but man, $7.25 for one load of laundry is just crazy! Oh that doesn't include the dryer. I think I will find a more efficient place to wash my clothes. read more

I used to like coming to this Laundromat until We were discriminated against. I've seen the white male employee let many customers in the restroom Even recently during the new COVID regulations and I was with my son who really needed to pee and he refused to let us use the restroom. I asked him why because I've seen him let others use the restroom and he said they were employees which I know is a total lie. I used to come here weekly and know who the employees are and he was the only one working there. I told him I was gonna talk to his boss and he didn't seem to care. He just said go right ahead. It isn't fair what he did and it is very discriminating and racist. Hopefully the Boss Lady sees this and talks to him to be fair with all the customers. read more

Fluff and Fold Delivery Review only. (i have never been inside of this business) A few weeks back I stood in front of my washer and dryer staring at a mountain of clothing. I was really sad that I would be spending a good chunk of my off day doing laundry. Why do we work at all if we can't enjoy the weekend? I decided I wouldnt let my laundry control my life (ha,oh the drama!). I immediatley took out my phone, sat on my pile of clothes and searched for the local Fluff and Fold. Within minutes after scanning a few different options in the area I called The Laundry Room. . The lady I spoke w/ was friendly and quickly scheduled a pick up just a few hours later. I moved my clothes to my front porch and off I went to enjoy the day. The following day my clothes arrived bagged, neatly folded and everything smelled amazing! My dresser has never been more organized! I have used the service twice now and plan to continue using them.. Having Laundry not be a factor is amazing and at $1.19/lb I wonder why the hell I didn't start doing this years ago. If you consider what you spend on detergent, water, gas, electric to run your washer and dryer this service pays for itself. Plus, TIME, my friends, is priceless. Above all, that's what this service has done for me, NOTHING beats extra time. If you dont want to pay the extra $9 bucks for pick up and delivery. ($9, that's AMAZING ) You can drop off and pick up your own clothes. Give them a shot. Don't feel lazy for not doing your laundry. Just tell people that your time spent doing (((((anything else))))) is worth more to you. You're Welcome. read more

I'm in love with this place. It does not feel like an old scary weird laundry mat that smells. It is literally a breath of fresh air, has air conditioning, a person on site to help, folding and washing services. The best is that they have all sizes of washers that wash fast and really really well. My bedding has never been cleaner. read more

I've used the fluff and fold service several times now and decided it was time to write a review. I absolutely love this place and the service I receive (though there is a crabby lady that works there...). Everything look great when I get it home and the facility itself is always clean and tidy (sometimes laundry mats can be a little grubby). Plus, I think the rates they charge are completely fair. Perhaps the only downside is the super dirty parking lot - but, that's out of their control (property management should maintain it better - I wouldn't eat at the food places in that little strip mall). Anyway - give them a try - also, when I deal with the crabby lady I just think maybe there's something going on that I don't know about...maybe some day I'll catch her when she's in a good mood and I'll see her sparkle (everyone's got one). read more

I used to make silent judgments on those too "busy" to do their own laundry. Then I worked a 60 hour week and stood in front of my ever growing pile of laundry and was just like, nope. Me and my 26 pounds of laundry made our way over to The Laundry Room Saturday morning and two minutes later, I was on my merry way to run errands. Monday night, I picked up my laundry after work all sorts of excited. Best decision of my life. read more

YOU PEE. YOU PAY! So we walk into this place and immediately begin sorting. I get a full load in while the hubby goes to make change for the machines. While he's rattling away with quarters, I start loading the light colors. I look over to hear him snickering at a sign o the bathroom door. It read something like "bathroom for customers only. $1". I said, no that can't be correct! They must mean that guests NOT spending their money in the establishment would have to pay to pee! To which I asked hubby to make certain that I can use the restroom for the duration of laundering our clothes. Sure enough, we would have to chuck up a buck to handle our business in their bathroom. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING! Suffice it to say, I have no idea how the machines work or the cleanliness there of. You see, I kindly removed our laundry from their machines, re packed them and took my business to a place where I'm appreciated for spending my hard earned cash. It was either that, or cop a squat in front of their door! read more

Although more narrow a place than I expected in a laundry, made even more of a place that you step over baskets and detergent discarded on the floor as you step over tiny tots that run amok with no supervision from whatever adult they arrived with earlier. By 9pm the place goes from packed with people to sparse, and it is then you can get your stuff done, and have all the space you need to fold your items. The staffers are friendly and helpful, and the understated blonde beauty operating the push broom and taking out trash ought to be snatched up by an agent and be put on a TV program as its resident beauty. All in all, as a laundromat it is top notch, but go about 9pm for a better experience--unless you love the sound of screaming loud unruly tykes running roughshod up and over everything. read more

It's very clean inside. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are different size washers as expected at a coin operated laundromat. If you don't have time to wash your clothes you can leave your laundry there and the staff will wash, dry and/or fold for you depending on what you want done. I personally haven't used their services yet. There are 3 TV's, I believe, and you can watch away while you wait for your clothes or go to the video store next door. I usually eat at the Hawaiian place a couple of stores down after I put my clothes in the wash. read more

The Laundry Room - New washers - Laundromat Near Me - Pasadena, California

Honestly this place and the owners are great. My wife was coming here before they changed owners just because it is very close to where we live. It was run down and looked bad, also some nefarious people would hang out here at night. The new owners took over and remodeled the place, and let me say it looks GREAT!!! We actually stopped by two weeks ago to see if they were open and low behold they opened just for us (they never planned on opening that day). There was some initial headaches that day (as is with all new businesses) but we (us and the owners) got around it and they were very helpful to say the least. Now we come here twice a week, and the owners (sorry, like I said before I am bad with names) always take the time to greet us and say hey. We used to go to Pasadena Laundry every single week for two years to do our laundry, but we stopped going there for a number of reasons. 1. They raised the prices on the machines 2. All the people that worked there and that we became friends with left, and then they hired people who had no idea what was going on and how to operate things 3. Alot of the people that do laundry there are jerks and just outright rude. So I am glad this place is open again. It is very clean and inviting to everyone. read more

I'm not a lazy person. But I enjoy having things done for me, like getting my nails done. Hair cut. That sort of thing. When I really want to feel special, I get my massages and my Korean body scrubs. Just as nice, and maybe even more subtly freeing is having my laundry done by the kind people at The Laundry Room. We dropped off our clothes on a Sunday morning before 10:30am, and they were ready the next morning a little after 8am. Be prepared for lots of different options for drying, detergent, and folding vs hanging. The space is large and clean. Coin operated laundry in the main space, and when you walk in, the fold and fluff counter is on the left side. I can't wait for my next big bag of dirty clothes to be magically turned into clean-smelling, nicely folded, gently hung laundry. I really cannot wait. I may be addicted to this wonderful laundry service. read more

I live nearby and have been coming to this place for years. I was hopeful when it was bought and remodeled and for the most part it's been redone nicely. I have one complaint. They didn't replace the single hard bench. I would think a laundromat would have better places to sit other than a hand me down hard bench seat that pretty much gets filled up with three people. So a lot of time, I end up sitting in my car. Also, I don't know what it is, but I've tried smiling and saying hello to the woman who runs it, but all I get is hard, cold and rather mean looks. It's kind of odd since she says hello to others, but I think if you aren't buying into the delivery or the fluff and fold service and you are one of those who can't afford to pay someone to do your laundry, you really aren't worth their time. read more

I went to The Laundry Room last week and did ALL my laundry. The place is clean and have plenty of washers. Some of the dryers were broken or only used cool air and they were tagged with a sign. I haven't been back yet, but hopefully they'll get fixed quickly. Love the free wifi and cable tv. At one point they turned off the tv and switched to satellite radio. The two employees who were working at the time were pleasant and friendly. The fluff and fold service seems very popular and I may try that next time. The only downside is that it's a small space with limited seating and folding space. So once it gets a little crowded it's hard to navigate down the aisles and there may be a wait for a space to fold your stuff. I'll definitely be back. read more

Been on Yelp for a couple of years now and never been compelled to write a review... Till now. A hidden gem worth looking for. Tucked away at the end of the strip mall. A great, friendly, very attentive staff. First came in to do my own laundry and all machines are cheap & get the job done. I was in a rush this week and didn't have time too do my own laundry, left my cloths at the fluff & fold and loved it. They did a great job, cloths were left clean and smelled really good. Can't recommend this place. read more

When we moved to Pasadena we experienced several laundromats before finding this great one. They keep the machines clean and in working order. Good music playing. Helpful staff if you ever have a problem. Clean floors and chairs to sit on. I appreciate the immaculate bathroom which is available for use for a mere $.25. Parking is usually readily available. read more

For years I have lived, attended college, and worked in this community since 2012. I was delighted to see a laundry business was but a block away, but what I saw was...well, like the opening scene of a mob film. Then a notice of new ownership sent a jolt of interest. Time went on, renovation and modernizing took place bringing this facility to a 180 degree turn. I never would've thought laundry can be relaxing, entertaining, or for that matter therapeutic - for context, I was tasked with laundry duty from the age of 7 until I moved out. I think the laundry room has made significant improvements for the residents and local businesses alike. Do yourself a favor, cease the never ending collection of laundry bags you have stored in your closet, outback, or storage, and see for yourself that the Laundry Room prioritizes your well-being. read more

This laundromat is clean and well managed. Natalie is my favorite here because she can answer questions and help you out quickly. I was pleased with my visit! The washer I used was $2 for a load and the dryer was 25 cents for 10 minutes. One load took about 30 minutes because of my jeans. The place was very clean and parking was plentiful. My only 'complaint' was that there wasn't much space. That doesn't really count as one because since theres less space, theres a lot more machines! I'm intrigued by the Fluff & Fold service they offer for pick up. I'll have to check it out next time! read more

The best thing about using a laundromat is saving time. I can wash and dry several loads in an hour. This laundromat is always immaculate. Many machines are new. I love that they are maintained. I would like to start by saying this is the first time I dropped my laundry off to be washed for me and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I have been traveling and working a lot and did not feel the need to fight for one of the two washing machines at my apartment complex. I dropped the clothes off before work and came back when they were ready to find a neatly folded stack of clean clothes...amazing! The people who work there are very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone. read more

The Laundry Room is the nicest laundry mat I've ever been to. It was impeccably clean. There was air conditioning and music provided. The machines worked perfectly. None of them ate my money or damaged my clothes. I came to wash all of my comforters at once since my washer is too small. Everything was perfect and I was in and out in 90 minutes after 5 loads! read more

If you are looking for a laundromat, move along. The place is tiny, dirty, and expensive. There are several better options (cheaper, cleaner, and able to sit more than 9 people) within a few miles. I have never written a review before I've left an establishment, but this place is so far from its 4.5 star reviews, it's not even funny. Avoid. read more

Found this place on Yelp and glad I did. They have free wifi, tv's, vending machine with soap and laundry needs, soda machine, clean restroom, a fluff and fold service that accepts credit cards, a wash and run service that's 4 bucks plus drying cost but they'll text you when it's ready, need I say more?! Oh and they have a box of free magazines to keep you busy. Only down side is its not that big of a place so I'm assuming at times it gets busy but overall a great place. read more

My first time using fluff and fold service, and I'm sold!! All I had to do was put the laundry on the scale, write my name and number, THAT'S IT. It took less than two minutes from the time we walked in, to the time we walked out. Dropped it off on Saturday around 1 pm and got a text Sunday morning that it's ready for pick up. They did such a great job on my laundry too. And for $1.25/ lb? Stupendous. Yeah, this is one of those "where have you been all my life???" services. read more

The Laundry Room - The Laundry Room!!! - Laundromat Near Me - Pasadena, California

See all

Our building has a laundry room but it's 3 floors down and I'm nine months pregnant with our first child. Suffice it to say, doing laundry (especially folding the clothes - ugh!) is at the bottom of our list of things to do. After a suggestion from a friend to look into laundry service for when the baby arrives, my husband and I decided to try this place out. Let me just say: this is a game changer. We tested out prices and turnaround with a full standard hamper and got a quote of $1.25 per pound. They mentioned they offer pick up and delivery for an additional $10, or $5 for either just a pick up or just delivery. We decided to drop the clothes off ourselves and have them deliver. My husband dropped off our order before 8am and let me know it came to $29.63 with delivery. I was floored and in a good way. I later called and asked the store when I may expect delivery the next day as the policy is a 24 hour turnaround. Again, they exceeded my expectations by saying our order was already finished and could be delivered within the hour. The clothes arrived neatly packaged and organized. The owner delivers everything herself. She apologized for losing one of the baby's socks but truth be told I could've lost that teeny sock anywhere so it wasn't a big deal for me. As an expectant first-time mommy, I look forward to becoming a regular customer. Thank you, Laundry Room for saving us from laundry hell! read more

I found this place on Yelp since I'm visiting the area and didn't know where anything is. It is a coin operated laundry...which I prefer because I hate having to spend $3 for the laundry card at the one I usually go to in L. A. There the wash is $1.70, here it's $2 for the regular washers. The regular dryers are .25 for 10 minutes, the same as my usual place. That being the case, the .30 more for washing isn't out of place. Also, the place is clean and there are plenty of machines and dryers. They have Fluff n Fold services, which I found out later, my daughter uses. They have a soda machine as well as a laundry vending machine. When I read they had vending machines , I expected snacks and such:( I was disappointed but not enough to go elsewhere. Also, I did notice a blond woman come in with paper towels..I think, could've been toilet paper...she came and went without interacting with anyone, figured she was the "soririty girl" mentioned in another review. Oh yes, they do charge.25 for the restroom, which was clean and stocked...I do understand the need to keep it locked to prevent the use by folks other than customers, but perhaps provide tokens for customers so that we don't have to pay for something that generally comes with being a paying customer. I went to the Vons on Fair Oaks and Marengo and the employee had to punch in a code to let me into the restroom...that's another way to go. read more
