Despite seeing the numerous poor reviews I decided to try my luck at the laundry room as I really needed my clothes looking nice for the following work days. The staff were quite nice but my single bag of laundry came out to $50+. Quite pricey considering they DIDN'T WASH MY CLOTHES!! How exactly is there still residue, that could've been removed from just my fingernail, still present on my "freshly washed" clothes. Come on. Even if they did wash it and the machine just couldn't get the smallest of grime out, they still had to manually fold my clothes and had to have seen the left over stains- and done NOTHING about it. Extremely rude. Went in to get my change before I start loading my laundry and one of the owners starts demanding that I bring my clothes in before I get change. I have no idea what her problem is, but if you're looking for a place where you can mind your own business, read a book, and get your laundry done. This definitely isn't the place. This place is nestled in the back southwest corner of the shopping center with the Oreilly. You can use the change machine inside for free if you're doing laundry on the premises. There are chargers and there's free WiFi. A trash bag full of clothes will cost $2.75 for washing and $0.25 for every 10 minutes of drying. This place is pretty clean and well lit. I would advise not coming at night, as you might encounter questionable characters. The only time I did laundry right before they closed on a weekday, a man washing his sleeping bag told me, "you don't belong in this world because you're a woman." It was funny to me, but you just never know who you'll run into at night here. read more

I've come here at least a handful of times and never had any trouble! Today I decided to come in to get some loads done before the new week. I started loading my machines only to discover it was FULL OF CAT HAIR! I do not like cats and I'm also ALLERGIC. So naturally I alerted the worker and she gave me new machines but she wasn't nice about it. I definitely won't come here again because ew! Beware this place has no public restroom if you're waiting on your laundry. Only discovered the laundry room because of Howlin' Rays. I wouldn't recommend doing your laundry here, it's tiny and kind of on the pricier side. There are a lot of other better places to go to around in Pasadena. read more

Today was expected to be HOT but I'd really planned to do "Big Laundry" and decided I'll just go early. Upon arrival some shady characters were loitering around in the parking lot. First time using any type of laundry service, so i was skeptical. However, i got behind on laundry by being a caregiver for a terminally ill family member. Once i realized how far behind on laundry i was, i decided i wasnt going to spend hours playing catch up. So i came to yelp for assistance. I checked out reviews of several places in the area and rolled with this one. I went to the website to check out prices, which appeared about the same as others PLUS they dropped of and picked up as stated on the website. I texted the number the night before and had a reply by the morning. I provided my card over the phone and i was able to get same day pick up. I left my clothes outside(upstairs) while i went to work and they were picked up. I received a text of my total bill which also stated the amount of lbs that were washed. They werqe picked up Wednesday and delivered friday am. I was also texted friday am and notified that the delivery would be running behind, no worries. My clothes were neatly folded, sorted, and smelled awesome. Definitely would use the service again, will not fall that behind in laundry ever again! (Gets pricey) read more

Love this place when I don't do laundry at besties or moms. It has ac, WiFi, a place to wash my hands, and sanitizer. I like it's location and hours too. What's not to like, it's well lit, and there's donuts and liquor in the strip too! I like the services they offer as well. I've signed up for them, but have yet to try them. If you don't mind throwing away money then this is the place for you. Not only do their washers not rinse your clothes well but their dryers also don't dry well. 1 quarter only gets you 4 mins and because they don't dry your very soaked clothes well you end up wasting so much money trying to dry all your clothes. It's also very disappointing when you try to bring it to the owners attention and they catch an attitude with you. Never coming back here again. read more

After washing my 9x12' ruggable last time at a dry cleaners for over $400 at a discount, I decided to give "The Laundry Room" a try instead. I used the extra large "6 load" washing machine which was in great condition and had more than enough room, and $7 and 20min later since I washed on the delicate cycle I walked out with a rug ready to air dry at home that was just as clean as the expensive dry cleaners. I wish I wasn't writing this review because I seriously loved this place. I have been here usually on weekends at all times of the day. So for the most part I've always encountered kind people. I've always felt welcome here. However today my experience was different. I wish I would have gotten the name of the person that was working today... There was an African American older gentleman drying his clothes next to me. Then all of a sudden I hear the employee scream at him from across the laundry. At first I didn't understand what was happening. However, I suddenly caught on that the employee was upset that the man had removed his mask. Obviously I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and we should all wear masks. However, I was raised to respect my elders and not be rude to them. So understandably the older gentleman was upset that a young kid was screaming at him. So he started screaming back at him telling him that he needed to be respectful. He explained to him that he was simply putting on his sweater and his mask fell off. However, the employee was already on the phone with the police. I just don't understand how this escalated so quickly... I don't understand why calling the police was the best option. Anyway I'm leaving this here because the gentleman is not allowed to come back. She said she doesn't allow anyone to express public affection there, gay or straight--which is dubious. We left and will not come back. A little pricy for their dryers (.25 for 8min) but they're all so new!! The smallest washing machine is $2.00 for top in and the $2.75 for side in. They offer a lot of great options if you're in a rush. Wash dry fold for $17 ish minimum 10lb load. Drop off and go (you pay for your wash, dry and they will move the loads for you) for service fee of $4. There is free AC and wifi. I forgot to check if there's a restroom. But seriously free AC is a steal on hot days. This laundromat is also staffed, can help answer questions, gave me change for my dollar coins, etc. read more

Rude and mean employe! I've lost my wallet at the laundry room on s slauson with culver blvd and talked to a guy about looking thought the security cameras to find out what ha (somebody stole it). So I received a call about it and the attendant said they looked over the cameras and found nothing. I asked if she now how I look and she said no! So how is she supposed to look over if she doesn't know me! I came back to the laundry because she suggested me to show up so she could se me and she was very rude telling me I wasn't there in the day in question that I lost my wallet saying she didn't saw me there so, and insinuating I was lying about losing my wallet there! This is the best laundry place I've ever had the pleasure of spending a Friday evening at! It's big, bright, clean, good pricing, awesome machines, tv's, free WiFi, clean bathroom.. And there's always a friendly staff person around! You can do it yourself or you can drop off your laundry and have them do it for you. Also, they have great a/c & fans.. I am using their 'fluff and fold' service for more than a year now. They are the perfectionist in that. The place is neat and clean. I have never seen a laundromat this clean before. Besides, they increased the price for fluff and fold before a couple of months. I have no other complaint. I have tried other cheaper location nearby but trust me it's not worth it. Also, they will text you when your laundry is ready for pickup. It's kind of nice. And they are super fast too in providing service. read more

So funny, I came mid day to use their extra large machine to wash shoes that have been sitting outside since last season. Nobody was inside and I decided to wait since the cycle said it was only 37 minutes. I was catching up on some emails and the lady who works there came over to check me out a few times. I was leaning against the table, but got tired and partially half sat for a bit (but mostly leaning still!). She came almost running to yell at me, repeating "No sitting on the tables, it's posted on the wall, see? No sitting on the table. Go look. You see? It says it on the wall. No sitting on the table." Whoa! I was like ok sorry but she insisted I walk over and read the "rules." Oh my gosh. Wash cycle ended and I just grabbed my stuff and got out of there. Used the fluff and fold service here while I was visiting Pasadena and wanted to avoid the expensive hotel laundry prices. Dropped off 10 lbs of clothes around 9am Sunday and was told to expect up to 24 hours for turn around, but it was ready just a few hours later. They sent me a text message when it was ready. The lady running the place was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend their fluff and fold service. Also, if you're trying to find this place they are hidden in the far corner of a shopping center pretty much away from the only entrance to the parking lot. read more

I've been a patron for several months now. All conveniences are available (e.g., change machine, vending machine with commonly forgotten items, laundry bags, etc.). Do use the bathroom before coming. They charge for the restroom, even for regular paying customers. It is a drawback when you're a paying customer and frequenter. Limited parking in front, so be prepared to carry your things if the parking lot is pretty full. However, facilities are clean, machines are regularly operating, and easy to navigate and use. They always have music playing low or something to watch on TV. 01/15/18 I've been a customer for over two years and was recently slammed with a 40% price hike on drying. There were no signs posted to indicate the price increase. The price of the front loaders increased by $.25 as well. What a conundrum to have wet clothes without the knowledge prices to dry have increased by 40%? Love the staff and facilities, but this seems a bit ridiculous.
