We love this coffee shop and visit anytime we're in the area. The honey badger is my fave! And we even buy bags of coffee beans. They've got different locations- we usually get our coffee to go but stayed and enjoyed it at one of the locations. It was really small and seating was uncomfortable but that was my favorite store- the staff is great! read more

One of the cutest coffee shops I've been to in a long time! The vibe here was such a fun happy place! The Aussie theme with the drinks and the food was very clever. I wasn't too crazy about the coffee. But it's because the beans they use have a sweet taste and it's not my Favorite. I'm sure others may like it. The quiche was very very good. And it's a nice spot. I went to the one beach side but downtown one looks so much nicer. read more

First time here. We ordered the honey badger and it was delicious! Also picked up a rashers and egg and true blue pie. Crusts were flaky and the egg/cheese/meat ratio was perfect. Very filling! Splitting one with a friend is probably enough. Lol Love the casual/beachy vibe as well. We ordered inside and sat outside on their deck but they also have a walk up/to go window on the other side. Definitely worth checking out! Tip: Get the datil sauce! Sweet at first taste but gives you a kick in the end! Delish! read more

A coffee spot right on St. Augustine Beach! I know Kookaburra has a few locations but this one was just a short walk from our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott on St. Augustine Beach. It may be on the smaller side but this coffee shop has a few seats you can enjoy a cup to catch up with a friend or work on your laptop. They also have a good amount of outlets if you need to charge up! I have actually ordered coffee beans from here before and when I heard it was close to the hotel I was staying at, I had to pay them a visit. They have a window you can walk up to and order from if you are looking for quick coffee to-go. They also have a small lot you can park in. This fills up fast so that walk up window comes in handy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you're looking for a bathroom, it is located outside and is a single stall. Just look for the red door! Now for the coffee and food- I got the Aussie Iced, an ice brew coffee with vanilla and cream, and shared an Aussie Pie with my friend. These are egg and cheese based pies- think of quiches. On my way back to South Florida, I made another stop here for an iced Mocha Nut. If you like almond joys, I would recommend this drink! I'm not a huge fan of coconut but was in the mood for chocolate. I actually liked it a lot and if I'm back in St. Augustine, I would get this again. read more

We went for breakfast so we got 2 Aussie pies. They were ok - just a little too much dough to egg ratio. The flavor was good and had a good amount of sausage. Scone was very good. The coffee was out of this world - amazing mocha and honey badger got it done so I'll be back for more coffee!! Had a nice spot inside and out to eat. read more

Expect a long wait for your coffee and if you are ordering pour overs or drinks that really need a good barista to make that coffee drink to your standard than this is not the place. They even have a beer tap menu ~ pretty large chain in this area. I also got the berry muffin and it was dry and not great at all. read more

While it was a cute shop with great indoor/outdoor atmosphere, I am completely baffled by all the reviews saying it is the best coffee in town?! I love coffee and espresso but I could only drink a few sips of my iced Diesel Aussie. It tasted like apple cider vinegar. I am not one to throw away food or drinks but I had to. The Kookaburra wasn't around for all of the years I lived in St. Augustine and Jacksonville. As an Australian immigrant with a deep love of good coffee, it seems almost tailor-made for me. But alas, our times did not align. I stopped by this location on a trip back to St. Augustine for my morning coffee. I prefer my coffee cold and black so was delighted to see flash brew on the menu. Flash brew is regular brewed coffee that has been rapidly cooled; not cold brew, which is steeped at room temperature over several hours. Unlike cold brew, which develops a different flavor profile, flash brew just tastes like a pour over that has been chilled. Anyway, I don't remember what the beans were but the flavor was good. And cold coffee is perfect for those hot, muggy, St. Augustine summer days like the one i departed into. read more

My husband and I visited this spot a couple of times when we were on a mini vacation near St. Augustine Beach. We both ordered coffee and my favorite drink was the iced mocha they make with oat milk. My husband liked their homemade cold brew. For breakfast one morning, we both got the vegetarian breakfast pies which were delicious. Definitely a great staple and awesome location when you're visiting the St. Augustine Beach area. We can't wait to return! read more

We have been to the other location downtown for coffee only. We decided to come and try the Aussie pies. I ordered the Rashers and Egg and hubby got the Corker. We were not impressed with the pies. This little Australian gem is a must-visit! Walked to the Kookaburra from our resort (embassy suites) and it was definitely worth the 0.8 mile walk. The staff is super kind, and very helpful! Drinks - go for a drink on the signature list! I got the honey badger with oat milk and it was delicious. The coconut one also looked awesome, kinda wish I got it too! Food - their breakfast pies are dynamite! I got the corker (sausage, egg, cheese) and hubs got the Vejjo (spinach, broccoli, egg, cheese). Both were so good. A great coffee/breakfast spot to hit up before hitting up the sights. I went with the honey badger latte (with cinnamon, vanilla and honey) and the True Blue brekkie pie (cheddar cheese, egg, topped with rosemary). The coffee was amazing and every flavor came through beautifully. The pie had a nice flakey pastry crust, but the inside wasn't as good as I hoped. The cheese wasn't melted and a bit clumpy, if that makes sense. It comes with a side sauce, and I opted for a datil pepper jelly that was really yummy. I started going here to do studying and homework for class as I am a senior at Flagler College, as I went here to be in a calm space away from all the craziness downtown and to say I was happy with my choice to first start coming here is'nt enough. They have updated their reward system and gone paperless. Once you enter your phone number, you'll start earning rewards. I surrendered my paper rewards card today and they honored it! I've received consistent, efficient service at all three locations and the coffee is excellent! They pride themselves on using not less than 2% milk (whole, half & half also used) explaining that the quality of the taste and overall integrity of the coffee is sacrificed by nonfat milk. Their Aussie meat pies are very good as well with one being enough for a meal (small personal-sized pies). The beach and U.S. 1 locations are great for studying or working, and the downtown location can call in delivery for you from several quality local options such as Burrito Works. Their bathroom seems to need some work (was clogging up, yikes).

It was delicious. I was a little disappointed that almond milk was 1.50 extra and my drink ended up being $8.75 before tip.

The venue is on A1A, right by St Augustine Beach. This was our first time there. They serve food but we had dinner beforehand, so we only had drinks. It's a nice little venue though. The show itself was awesome and Mick was so nice to meet afterwards! Why am I giving a 5 star review when we didn't even try their food? I'm at fortunate to know a few people that many would consider to be famous in the world of music. I have tagged along with them when they've done meet & greets at venues of various sizes from hundreds of fans to thousands of fans. Many, MANY venues handle these things very poorly. It ends up leaving fans feel as if the artist doesn't care about them when it's actual the venue that is unprepared and/or is treating the fans that dirt. That was absolutley NOT the case at Cafe Eleven. Every person we encountered from the staff seemed genuinely concerned with making sure the fans had a good experience. For us, this started a week prior when they took the time to email us to double check something about our order because our order was a bit odd. My wife paid for part of the order and our friends paid for the other half. The venue actually took the time to reach out to make sure we knew everything needed to match up. We did know that ahead of time but the fact that they even bothered was a touch I don't think I've ever heard of another venue taking the time to do. Well done Cafe Eleven! Based on that alone, I wouldn't think twice about driving down from Jacksonville next time there's an event at Cafe Eleven that I'm interested in.
