Stopped in here one morning because it was close to where we were staying. We were greeted by the owner of the restaurant and let to a table where we then engaged in 20 minutes of laughter, conversation, and breakfast recommendations. When our food arrived, it was hot, beautifully plated, and amazing! (I was too hungry and excited to even take a picture) There are many vegetarian options as well. The sweet tea was AMAZING and the pancakes... well the pancakes were absolute perfection! So delicious that we returned the next day to bring our families! Went here because it was the closest place to our resort and the parking lot was full. They were busy so they get some benefit of the doubt, but it was a catastrophe from the beginning. Our drinks took about 10 minutes, we didn't order for over 20, and then when the food did come: half of my plate wasn't cooked. We sent back my omelette and potatoes and they were very cool about it: but it came back tasting like microwaved gas station breakfast. The other people in my party were not pleased with their meals, either. The people, especially our waitress, were very nice but the dining and food experience was not good. I really wanted to give this place a high score. We live in the area and have been trying lots of places for breakfast. This place has been one we passed and Sadi "we need to go there". Service was very attentive, but slow both in taking our order and delivering food. Foot was average: pancakes a little above, omelette a little below. We cleared our plates, so that says something. This is a very cute and spacious (not common in the area) breakfast/ brunch restaurant. I was very excited about coming here with the fam on vacation and must say it didn't exactly live up to my expectations. The location was nice and we were seated right away by friendly staff but the food was mediocre and it took at least 35 minutes to come out (not exaggerating.) The women's bathroom was a catastrophe with only 1 working stall, toilet paper and trash all over the floor and advertisings all over the walls. Personally, dirty bathrooms in a restaurant are a huge turn off with me and waiting so long for ok food is the reason I probably will give another place a try when I come back in to town. read more

My family was visiting the area on vacation when we decided to grab some to go lunch here during COVID. When I entered, I was greeted and told they'd be right with me. My food took a little longer than expected (25 minutes instead of the reported 10-15 minutes). When I received my food, all was as ordered. Unfortunately, it's not worth getting a soda. The cup they use is a child's small and they only filled it 3/4 of the way. The food was good. I really enjoyed the Tuscan Panini. The best breakfast in North Myrtle Beach! The breakfast options are endless and you will have to problem finding something that suits you. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and told you exactly when your food was getting served! And on top of that the food was very very good! Will return next time I'm in town. read more

This restaurant may be in the same location as the old Spring House, but that is where the similarities end. The interior was bright and clean, clearly updated from the old SH days. Although they were really busy, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the new owner was greeting customers as they arrived at the host stand. A far cry from the old restaurant. The food was excellent! Although it was after 12:30 when we arrived we still opted for breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the country ham was a full slice, not the half slice most restaurants serve these days. The prices were extremely reasonable. Oh, by the way, some of the best restaurant coffee I have had in a long time and the leave a BIG insulated carafe of it on the table for you! So glad we decided to give this NEW restaurant a try. I was wanting to get brunch somewhere on the cheap side that wasn't a chain. Ended up here with some friends and tried a few items. My friend got the stuffed turtle french toast and said it was wonderful but very filling. Other friend chose the biscuits and gravy and said there were some of the best they've had. However, I ordered the chocolate chip waffle. It tasted great but I was under the impression that it was a waffle with chocolate chips cooked inside. When I received it I found out that it was just a regular waffle with chocolate chips tossed on top. It was good but I would opt for something different. Mermaid mimosas were decent but nothing shows topping. Extra point for the mimosas because they were roughly $5. read more

NEW NAME- *The Kitchen Table* This used to be Spring House Family Restaurant! This place has gotten a paint job with a mini make-over and it looks great! We came to myrtle beach for the weekend and have been staying at the Barefoot Resort and kept passing this place and decided to stop by for breakfast Sunday morning. Got there around 9 am. Seated immediately. Service was nice and fast. Food came out quickly! Prices are reasonable. We were very pleased with our visit! Husband just asked to go again lol Oh and they have the cutest booths in the shape of toast with a fashionable fabric!!! Love it! read more

The food was decent, the prices were comparable for the area. The only real issue was the overwhelming sewer smell that was permeating the dining room. We made it through but when I went to restroom after eating I almost lost it. The staff in this restaurant are extremely rude. I asked the hostess how long the wait was and he answered with "not long" when there was probably over 15 parties waiting to be seated. Then our waitress was extremely rude and unfriendly. Not to mention our table smelt like bleach and they sat us when it was soaking wet. Then our server was placing our food on the table when she dropped one of the sausages off of the plate onto her tray and continued to pick up the sausage and placed it back on the plate with her bare hands.
