Had I known ahead of time, I would have definitely passed. They have both a buffet and menu options for breakfast. It took forever to get seated. We told them we were ordering off the menu as the buffet did not look or smell appetizing while we were passing and I'm not a fan of buffets in general. It took forever to place our orders or get waters. I asked for coffee, the machine was broken so no coffee. We ordered and got our food and then finally after another reminder, we got our glasses of waters. I had an early riser with ham and scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs looked anemic but tasted okay. The ham were sad and thin akin to a deli slice but maybe just very slightly thicker than what you would put in a sandwich. It was dry. Regret quickly settled when the dish was delivered to the table. At least the potatoes were okay. They weren't hashbrowns though as the menu said. To sum it all up, slow to average service, not really much of a view even though it's close to the water, and food was disappointing. read more

What a pleasant surprise! We came for the happy hour specials and will definitely be back. Our server, Megan was personable and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Our chef, Andrew prepared beautiful and delicious dishes. We had generous portions of flounder fillet, chicken quesadillas and garlic Parmesan shrimp. Even the fries were great! Really disappointing. Recently visited this restaurant within the Prince Resorts, Myrtle Beach SC. Was on vacation with family and friends, 8 total. On entry, my first impression was that there was Nobody else there at 7:30pm. That should have been my first clue. The waitress did not know what beers they had, and there was litlle wine choice. I ordered the prime rib special of the day, medium, was served a charred peice of shoe leather, bordering inedible. Several others also ordered and were disappointed as well. The loaded baked potato was so so bad.. the cheese was hard and potato was pretty tasteless and bland. Dinner salads arrived after the entrees. Waitress said they were "working on them". I noticed the chef seemed angry and irritated. We requested a split check (just 2) and when they arrived, there were multiple mistakes (items on the wrong check). For the price, there are much better options in the area. read more

Partook in the Easter Brunch- it was not the best to be kind- all the food was cold, biscuits, waffles, chicken tenders, eggs- all cold- sausage not browned, hash browns not browned, no dipping sauces for the chicken tenders, or steak bites. Eggs were bland, the pies did not taste right. That was very weird, the pecan pie filing was way not right, the pumpkin pie did not taste like it should it was just very bland, weird, flavors were off, food was cold. Really not much variety either and the tiny 1/2 bins of food were all empty. So whatever cheese broccoli rice and pasta whatever, we're all gone. The only thing that was good was the fruit but I wouldn't bother paying a brunch buffet price just for some coffee and fruit and a tiny box of cereal. It's a shame because the view is very nice if they would clean the windows . It was a disappointment on a holiday for sure. They could do better, I guess they just don't know how. This was more in line with a continental breakfast with some partially warmed up eggs, and an attempt at sausage and bacon. We won't be coming back. It was a fail. Sorry. read more

I had breakfast here (served until 11am) so this review does not include their dinner service. They also have breakfast buffet but in my opinion it didn't look all that great and you know what they say about buffets. Anyway I asked for egg whites for my omelet, which was not offered on the menu, and they were very accommodating about it with no extra charge or fuss. Price was moderate (see the menu photo I took) and the portion was huge (very important). And most importantly, food was tasty. Everything was well prepared using quality ingredients. I would come back to try dinner here some time. read more

First of all I'd like to say everyone has their good and bad days in life. Just happens on our first visit to the grill our waitress seemed to be having a bad morning. From the scowl on her face and rude gestures it was obvious this was her bad day. She took orders for my wife and I and never came back, only 3 other couple in there at the time and other waitress was working 2 of those tables... Ok reason for 1 Star- 3)The cook brought us our food. (Where's waitress ?) 2)Food was ok, small portions for the price. *1)Coffee was so bad I only took sips to wash down food as waitress never return with water I ask for. My wife waitressed for years and could not understand why the other waitress never check on us either. All I needed was something to wash down my breakfast other than the dark, stall, instant tasting, burnt cup of dish soap they called coffee. So my wife decided she would get up to find the waitress and tell her to bring me glass water or sweet tea to replace coffee. So when she found the waitress she was greeted with a "huff- I be dare in a minute" my wife being who she is... she told the lady "don't hurt yourself" As waitress walked up to table she ask what was wrong, I spoke up and said I'd like a glass of tea this coffee taste BAD, I was told she have to charge me for glass sweet tea. This is where long story turns short. I stand up tell her to get my bill and proceed to walk to cook station toward the first person I see who could possibly be a Mgr. and told him get my bill. His waitress just lost him a customer rest of our stay here. He said he told waitress to give me the sweet tea... Hmm. which tells me waitress made him aware of situation after my wife found her and told her issue.....so why did he not walk up to me? Why did waitress walk up and say she gonna charge me for tea?? One of them was lying. Think this guy has sold used cars for living. At the end he offered to pickup check. I told him that I am not looking for you to pay my bill. The food was sellable. In a nice restaurant overlooking the Prince Resort pool and the beach, we were the only customers in the restaurant at 7 PM on a Saturday. What a shame. This was our best meal during our week on the grand strand. Reasonably priced meals with tasty sides await for those who can find parking (across the street). This is a resteraunt inside the prince resort. They had a reasonable breakfast buffet for 7.50 each, which was rather good. The atmosphere was very nice.. right on the ocean. The dining area was exceptionally clean and the food was well stocked for a very slow mid morning. The buffet had fruits, pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs with or without spinach, biscuts with a pot of sausage gravy next to it, sausage patties and bacon. They also had a good variety of pastries. The waitress michelle was really nice and attentive, but not overbearing about it. For the money spent, five star cleanliness and atmosphere of the place, I will definately go again when I go to cherry point. read more

DON'T MISS THE PLACE!! Great food, great staff, great location! We had the pleasure of dining there with our family (10 people). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was exceptionally delicious. And they were very accommodating to our 2 toddlers. We came back a 2nd time and the food and the service was consistently superb. The food was very good, the prime rib was as advertised and a great value. The waitress was very rude. She got my daughters order wrong, when we questioned her about it she kept saying "well I wrote down the stuffed shrimp. " When my husband explained that she had in deed ordered the stuffed flounder she got very angry with him and kept loudly saying that she would take it back because she didn't want "that man" to keep bringing it up to her "all night"! I was shocked at the way she spoke to us. I work in retail, I try to be respectful to my customers, when I go out I expect to be treated the same. Sadly this was not the case. read more

We stopped in for a late breakfast. Our server Brenda was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast burrito caught my eye.......it was large and delicious! My companion had the Build Your Own Omelet. Went here because we were staying in the resort upstairs and had been seeing their "Prime Rib Special' advertised all week. The waitress would be best described as disinterested. I ordered the Prime Rib medium rare as did my son and a friend. 30 minutes later we were served shoe-leather like meat that was past well done and impossible to cut or chew. The baked potato seemed to have been kept warm since lunch time. Their solution was to bring us nearly raw beef! Atrocious. The best kept secret in NMB! Where can you get pulled pork, bbq chicken, corn on the cob, apple pie, Air Conditioning, A Gorgeous view, overlooking the Ocean, Air conditioning, a glass of Merlot, watch the fireworks, overlooking the pier in Cherry Grove for only 12.95, and did I mention air conditioning??? The waitress was Super, the chef came to our table to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this place! read more
