Peel & eat shrimp 10/10 Super flavorful, great seasoning, perfect cook. Butterflied and easy to peel. Tastes just like the old HOTO's recipe. Homemade chips & French onion dip 8/10 Chips were great. French onion dip reminded me of hummus (we're from Buffalo, so we're used to our popular Bison French onion dip). It wasn't bad though, but I didn't think it was really onion-y.

The special-a fried bologna sandwich with a moon pie and a natty light

What a nice unexpected delight of a place! Total hole in the wall place in a good way!! Stopped in for lunch and were happily surprised with delish food! We both opted for the daily special which was a fried bologna sandwich. It came with chips, a moon pie and a "natty light". The sandwich was a nice thick slice of bologna that was fried perfectly. We had a super friendly bartender and def recommend stopping in there!

Growing up in North Myrtle Beach, Denny received his first restaurant experience due to the fact that his family owned and operated the Sante Fe Station restaurant. He would later go on to open Snooky's on the Water in Little River in 2017 (closed 2025). Looking to open a sister restaurant along North Myrtle Beach's Grand Strand, Denny opened Snooky's Oceanfront Dining in 2019. Snooky's has become well-known for their great selection of fresh seafood platters and entrees, as well as burgers, sandwiches, wraps, tacos, soups, salads, brunch dishes, raw bar and various bar bites. In addition to Snooky's, Denny also owns and operates Hurricane Juel's as well as Lance Restaurant Supply. He formerly owned Soufflé's and Blueberry's Grill. My family and I recently sampled food from Snook'y Oceanfront Dining while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. One day while we were lounging by our hotel's pool in North Myrtle Beach, we started getting hungry for lunch. Snooky's came highly recommended by our hotel staff, so I decided to take a walk down the street to order takeout. The place was adorned with all sorts of nautical decor (some of it humorous). My favorite decoration was the octopus wearing sunglasses. After looking over the menu, I decided to order the "Firecracker Shrimp Wrap" (roasted tomato basil wrap filled w/ shrimp, mixed greens, tomatoes, bleu cheese crumbles, Signature Firecracker Sauce) and "Buffalo Shrimp Lettuce Wraps" (baby shrimp deep fried and tossed in Buffalo sauce, stuffed into 2 Romaine lettuce leaves, topped w/ diced tomatoes, onions, & bleu cheese crumbles) with sides of "Sweet Potato Waffle Fries" for my wife and I to share. I also ordered "Fish Nuggets" (w/ fries) for our older son and "Mac 'N' Cheese" for our younger son. I walked everything back to my hotel and my family and I enjoyed it by the pool. Everything was delicious and it really hit the spot. We passed by Snooky's a few more times during our stay in North Myrtle Beach, and it definitely seems like a popular spot. We'll definitely be back the next time we find ourselves in North Myrtle Beach!

We avoid sitting at a table, because that puts us in a wildly variable situation with good or bad servers (you never know which). This place could use management and leadership. Earlier in the year, we took a friend to brunch, and it took over an hour to arrive. The "manager" told us there had been a "kitchen fire," though later we heard that one of the cooks was "...so hungover that he didn't show up." Today, one of the food runners tried to run past my wife while coming down the stairs as we were leaving. I mentioned this to the hostess, who then immediately turned into the food runner's defense attorney. The management of this place thinks that the people coming here will come regardless of the poor service and treatment, but with some attention to customers, maybe it could really be a destination. The experience is of low quality. The views are good, upstairs at the bar works if you can grin and bear it through the main floor.

We told them we were ordering off the menu as the buffet did not look or smell appetizing while we were passing and I'm not a fan of buffets in general. It took forever to place our orders or get waters. I asked for coffee, the machine was broken so no coffee. We ordered and got our food and then finally after another reminder, we got our glasses of waters. I had an early riser with ham and scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs looked anemic but tasted okay. The ham were sad and thin akin to a deli slice but maybe just very slightly thicker than what you would put in a sandwich. It was dry. Regret quickly settled when the dish was delivered to the table. At least the potatoes were okay. They weren't hashbrowns though as the menu said. To sum it all up, slow to average service, not really much of a view even though it's close to the water, and food was disappointing.

Grabbed a Pinot Grigio and a beer at the side bar while we waited. They brought out hush puppies when we sat down, & those lasted about 30 seconds at our table :) The staff was simply wonderful; We also asked the hostess to help us take a family pic outside before we left. They have a cute shop where you can pick up a t-shirt as a souvenir- which I had to do because I LOVE THIS PLACE. If this was close to me, I would eat here every weekend. The prices are reasonable, the food is wonderful, and the staff was kind and hospitable. There are many places to eat in Myrtle Beach, but we love supporting local businesses that are family owned. If you're craving fried chicken or country fried steak with all the fixin' on the side, look no further. Fantastic place for locals and tourists. Cheers

We each picked a couple items, and at first I was skeptical about how well such a mixed menu would come together. That skepticism didn't last long. What's impressive is how they manage to cover different cuisines and still execute them well. The shishito peppers came perfectly grilled and paired with an amazing sauce that really elevated them beyond a typical appetizer. The meatballs felt like something straight out of a family kitchen comforting, rich, and reminiscent of grandma-style cooking. The shrimp scampi was another standout: flavorful, well-balanced, and not overdone with butter or garlic. But the real highlight of the night was the pistachio espresso martini so smooth, creative, and easily one of the most memorable cocktails on the menu. Overall, it's a great spot for sharing plates and trying a little bit of everything. It turns what could feel like a scattered menu into a fun, consistently solid dining experience.
