It's not every day that I encounter an online store where the service is so good that I have to write about it. I purchased a set of silverware from Kitchen Clique and it was my first order. I had made a special request and they actually contacted me by phone and email to confirm the order and my request which was granted. Once again the Clique-sters came through for me. I was looking for some Shun Elites, a Staub Coquette in Crimson and a Caprise Burr Grinder in stainless. I tried several stores beforehand (this is during Xmas rush) such as Williams-Sonoma, Zabar's and Bloomies, and they either had one but none of the others or nothing at all. Kitchen Clique had them all in stock ready for sale. I mentioned before that the place was a mess and in retrospect it's a bit harsh considering their circumstances. For all the stock they have the space available is small so naturally when one tries to fit all of his possessions in a studio apartment you're place is going to look cluttered regardless. They keep the fast moving stuff on display and the high ends stocked away for their online sales. Online is actually what they specialize in. Kitchen Clique is a great store and like I said before they will get it for you if they don't have it in stock. read more

Received a creme brulee set as a gift (from another website) but it had only 4 ramekins. I like ramekins with a large surface area to "brulee", but had a hard time finding them. Found a set of 4 at Kitchen Clique with an affordable price and shipping. When I received the set, one had been broken in transit. I didn't want to go thru the hassle of returning the unbroken ramekins in order to receive a complete, unbroken set, but thought it was worth an email to the company. Wrote an email and 4 days later (just as I began wondering why I hadn't had a response to the email), a single unbroken ramekin arrived. That was unexpected! This is the 2nd purchase I've made and I'm very happy with the company and its service! read more

Bait-and-switch alert! Ordered an All-Clad Master Chef II 2 Qt saute pan for $55 but got an E-mail after two days: "Sorry the 2 Qrt is no longer available. the 3 Qrt is $195." That's almost 4 times more! It turned out that All-Clad does not even list 2 Qt saute pan as a product for its MC2 collection on the website. Total false advertising. Avoid shopping there. read more

Dear Customers, I just wanted to warn you about Kitchen Clique. I never had so bad experience from any website, and I buy a lot on line since I am very busy at work and home. I ordered the biggest size of Moneta fry pen and I got my perches pretty quick. The fry pan last only for one month and got stained and sticky (even though it has 5 years of warranty). My husband sent a picture and a sail woman was very kind to answer that they will receive the perches back and will cover all expenses. But guess what? We sent this fry pan and never got shipping expenses back. After long debates and emails forth and back I was ensured that money will be refund on my credit card. After waiting almost one month I sent an email again, and I received absolutely different answer, that my money cannot be refunded. Avoid this website!!!! Absolutely NOT custom friendly. read more

It took me over an hour to get here. Their website and Facebook both say they are open on Sundays 11-5 and they were closed. One of the gates was open and someone walking by said they may have left for a break. We waited 20 minutes and an employee came out and said he couldn't help us. They are closed every Sunday in July and August. Their voicemail, Facebook, and website all say they are open Sundays. I will not waste my time with this place again. read more

terrible service!!! i got many things from their store as wedding gifts. Their claim to the gift giver is that they would take back the presents for store credit. In actuality though that isn't the case. i had some things from there that I liked, but 2 things that i wanted to return. after much haggling i got them to take back one of the items. that required going back to the store multiple times. The other item they simply wouldn't take back. i found them to be quite nasty in the process. i will never walk into that store again nor would i suggest that anyone purchase gifts there!!! hizaher beatzmecha! read more

If there were a rating of below zero, Kitchen Clique would deserve it. Someone bought us an engagement party gift from here- a set of trays that didn't match anything else, and we assumed that like any other gift store, we'd be able to exchange it for something we liked. BOY were we wrong. Apparently there's a two-week exchange policy, which means if someone gets you a gift two weeks before your wedding, you have to take the time to drag it into the store the week before your wedding or you're stuck. Which is made worse when you're from out of town. What new bride and groom need a two-week ticking clock the week of their wedding? Preposterous. Of course, Kitchen Clique's staff did not care at all that we were unhappy with them, and were completely unapologetic and inflexible. They didn't even have the gall to tell me on the phone that they wouldn't do exchanges, instead waffling and inducing me to carry a bunch of heavy boxes all the way into the store just to be ignored for ten minutes and then told to go away. Needless to say I will NEVER even CONSIDER buying a gift for others from Kitchen Clique, nor will I ever do any shopping there myself. read more
