Saffron rice and baby greens with falafel
    Neha G.

Aug 14, 2025 review ---- I got catering arranged from this location for my workplace and it turned out to be great. Everyone liked the food. I arranged for almost 35 people. I didn't go for catering menu but regular online order. When placing order, it would not let you go above 300 so I needed to place multiple order, also issue with adding some of sides eg cranberry salad. It would appear on page and go away. Overally online ordering for bulk orders can be improved. I got the falafel bowls, steak bowls, beef kofta, chicken bowls, sides of salad, pita chips and fries and everyone loved their food. I tried the saffron rice with falafel bowls for myself which came with feta cheese hummus, cilantro jalapeno hummus tzatziki dip, grilled veggies, inside sauce as dill yogurt, cilantro yogurt. I like their OG yogurt and Fire chilli sauce too which were on the side. You can get some sauce inside the bowl like different type of hummus and yogurt based sauce as well. Plenty of options for customization in terms of vegetables. They also have drink options to add with bowl like poppi strawberry lemonade, poppi cherry lemonade, coke etc. Delivery of order was on time and well arranged. I had to call in twice to explaning them label each bowl to avoid confusion. That was time taking on my end. Overall good experience with catering.

I'm a TKS usual. Mixed greens bowl with kofta. All the fixings. Fire chili sauce. Unsweetened tea. I know what to expect and I get what I expect. Good, fresh food and the kofta is cooked to order. Will be back again!

Usually when trying a new place, I look up the menu so I am prepared to order. It helps me reduce my anxiety of making a snap decision- especially when at an establishment where you order at the counter. I did not do that this time and found myself panic ordering a salad option. I opted for the romaine over the spring mix because I wanted the crunch factor and the lamb because I didn't know what some of the other things were. Added almost all of the available toppings as well. The food tasted very fresh. Except for the meat. It tasted a bit dry and the grilled veg were lukewarm at best. I know they were making things fresh so I'm wondering if they made mine and then it sat there while they made my husbands as they warned us it would be at least 10 minutes for his to be prepared. When we ordered, we were the only customers in there, although a few other came in for pickup shortly after we sat down. The restaurant was clean but also seemed loud given the lack of patrons. The sauce bar is fun but I could only truly appreciate the OG Yogurt sauce because the other two were too spicy for my tastes. Fair warning- be careful with the spicy tomato based sauce (can't recall the name) as I watched at least twice when customers went to add that sauce to their cup and it spray on their clothes. For my husband, wearing black, it wasn't as much of an issue but the young lady in all white was less amused. All in all, I know we'll go back. And next time I'll venture out of my comfort zone and try something different.

Great stop for fast and relatively healthy Mediterranean food! This was my second time to TKS, and I only hesitate from coming more often due to the price to quantity of food ratio (haha). As time has gone on, however, I'm realizing that the quality of food may just justify the price I pay! On today's visit I got a wrap (Shawarma), and really loved it. I was thinking it may not be enough food for lunch, but I left much more full than anticipated. Perhaps this was because I sampled all of the sauces they offered, which were delicious and rich and full flavored. Highly recommend them all (garlic, cilantro chutney, hot sauce)! The service was actually excellent--I even had a staff member come around to my table to ask how things were! Definitely unexpected at a fast casual spot. The restaurant itself was clean and bright and made me feel at home. TKS is rising in my eyes as a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner!

The food is good. Very convenient. You can build your own bowl and if you don't know what to choose your can ask their staffs. They are all quite nice.

I can't believe how nice this kid is working today. Just so refreshing to have someone so happy to just be helpful. Will come again and again. Food was incredible too.

The gyro wrap. It's so good...and huge!

I'm always looking for "fast food" options. I mean, it easy to get tired of pizza and tacos and burgers and such. I was Christmas shopping in the Mueller area and wanted a healthier, different alternative to the usual fare. The Kebab Shop with its great staff, quick service, clean store and great food was perfect. The FRESH food and gyro meat was perfect. Delicious but not filling and heavy like a burger. And. I LOVE that they have a sauce bar. Nobody telling me how much or how little sauce! So good! Now I need to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Staff was friendly and answered our question regarding their menu. Multiple seating options and it was super clean. My plate was 110/10 really enjoyed all the flavors topped with their in house sauce. Will be going again! & Kids eat free on Sundays!

Wanted to grab something quick, and decided to try this out . Got the wrap with chicken, it was delicious. It's different because of the wrap (I expected the usual pita wrap ), but it tasted good and leaves you feeling not too full , which is good(feels like a healthier option) . Service was quick and we got take out . What could be better : the sauce could be bit more blended in the filling (quantity) , you don't expect to taste the meat and salad as-is. you expect a blended flavor when you order wraps. It's definitely worth visiting!

Delicious! The Kebab Shop is my family & I's favorite Mediterranean food place. The food is fresh and tastes delicious! The restaurant itself is very clean, and has very modern, neutral decor. Service was good, the guy at the register was very nice. We wish there was a location closer to us, as we drive an hour to go here. It's always worth the drive though! :-)

Came in this afternoon for lunch after a very long stretch with hospital food. I needed a good meal and DAMN DID THEY HIT IT!!! I've been to a few different locations and per usual, everything was clean and organized and the staff very welcoming and friendly! If you want deliciously healthy Mediterranean food with epic sauces, GO HERE!

The best tasting food the business is always clean and the people are always super nice to me. In the middle of eating someone even came over to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. The best!

This review is only the food as this was ordered as takeout. Starting off with a flavor profile - I'd give the dish a solid 4 stars! Simple ingredients that come together for a refreshing taste of the Mediterranean. Nothing too different from what you expect, but sometimes staying simple is what makes it so good. I appreciated that the white sauce wasn't too heavy, either. Again, simple and good. I made some modifications to this Keto Bowl, keeping the protein high. I would certainly make the same modifications again, suggesting the kofta over chicken. I mean, how often can one make chicken at home? But, not Kofta! I also added some kalamata olives for an additional source of nutrients and healthy fat. One less star, as I would suggest a slightly larger portion for the kofta. The option to add more was not available and, while the salad itself was plentiful and flavorful, I found myself cautiously restricting my bites of kofta so that I'd have enough throughout the whole meal.

You can order by kiosk or someone take your order. There are Kebab rewards

The kebabs are the true highlight...juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. The portions are quite large as the hubs and I shared a wrap. We were sufficiently full after eating the chicken tikka wrap. Interestingly, the wrap came in a Shawarma King packaging with their contact phone number. So, I assume that Usta staff are sub-contracting from Shawarma King. Usta also has freshly baked bread and classic sides like hummus and rice paired with the main dishes. The restaurant has a homey, lived in feel. It has a few middle eastern artifacts sprinkled throughout the restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from Iraqi and Adana kebabs to shawarma and traditional Middle Eastern plates, so there are food items for both first timers and regulars who want to explore beyond the basics. They also serve flatbreads where you can have two different toppings. The food focus is on bold, traditional flavors rather than modern takes on middle eastern foods. On the desserts front, they have an assortment of desserts and several sections of ice cream. I had the baklava, which was surprisingly delicious...it was not eye-squinting sweet like a standard baklava. It was crunchy, flavorful, and had nuts that were substantial. Layla, my server, was so super sweet and welcoming. She pointed out that Usta provides its customers free tea. How cool is that? I cannot remember last time I received a free drink.

Loro is an Asian smokehouse and bar featuring grilled and smoked meats with Southeast Asian and Japanese-inspired sauces, sides, and a bar that boasts craft beer, boozy slushees, and batch cocktails. Parking at this location is a bit of a challenge. They have overflow parking in the back but the spots are really small. We sat at the bar area and worked our way through cocktails, apps, and dessert. We opened a tab and the bar staff takes your order which is convenient, versus how you normally have to order by waiting in line at the bar. The bar staff was extremely busy because they have to make all the cocktails and take the line orders at the bar. They are a master of multitasking. It was $3 martini night on Tuesday, so was excited to sample the four different drink options. lychee martini, Mexican martini, and Lucky Cat cosmo martini. Lychee martini is made with new amsterdam vodka, sake, elderflower, Mexican martini with espolon blanco, olive, yuzu, lime and cosmo with vodka, blood orange, naranja, lime. The lychee was hands down my favorite of the three. We started with the Dip Sampler that included a trifecta of smoked shishito queso, smoked salmon dip and Thai green salsa with the Siete blue corn tortilla chips. We went through the chips quickly and got a second round of wonton chips which I preferred to the Siete chips. Tried the Mango Chamoy frozen Slushee with Siete Chamoy Botana Sauce & Siete Chile Lime Seasoning Rim, passionfruit, Aperol, Sake and Sparkling Wine which was refreshing. All their boozy slushies are $5 during happy hour. Ordered the oak grilled edamame from the happy hour menu and it was a flavor explosion with a dusting of serracha powder, lemon zest and white sesame. For dinner, I ordered my go-to rice bowl with coconut-scented rice, seasonal pickles, thai herbs and steak as the protein. They normally served this with Bavette, but the steak was a bit tough and chewy this time. Finished everything off with cheesecake with five spice crumble, yuzu marmalade for dessert. The vibe at the bar was relaxed and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the collab menu felt creative without trying too hard. The ingredients are very thoughtful for a fully developed flavor profile. Just what I would expect from the culinary minds of Tyson Cole and Aaron Franklin. Definitely one of the regulars in my list when craving good cocktails with a casual but elevated food menu.

A couple of things to note: they charge a 10% online order service charge and a 3% credit card surcharge. When I got to the pickup window they asked if I wanted the food to go or dine in, and we chose to dine in so we could eat it fresh. They had to go containers available at the truck if you needed them. The portions looked small but were actually pretty filling. 1/2 lb Pomegranate and Za'atar Glazed Pork Ribs ($17): Came with 2 ribs that were okay. They were a little dry and lacking flavor on their own but tasted much better dipped in the pomegranate barbecue sauce. Combo Rice Bowl ($20): Came with mediterranean yellow rice, baladi salad, sauce, protein, cinnamon candied nuts, and pomegranate seeds. For the combo, you get to choose 2 proteins. I went with brisket and kofta (ground beef and lamb). Both were really good but a tad salty so the baladi salad helped balance that out. Egyptian Cowboy ($15): I chose lamb for this and it was the star of the show. The pulled lamb shoulder was incredibly tender and flavorful. The smoked mac and cheese was really good too but the rich bechamel was a bit much for us. The sumac pickled onions helped balance out the heaviness of both the mac and cheese and the lamb shoulder. Cardamom Pistachio Rice Pudding ($9.50): Pricey for rice pudding but I wanted to try the unique flavor. It was light but the cardamom flavor was strong. Interesting to try once but I wouldn't order it again.

As a recipient of the prestigious Texas Monthly Top 100 BBQ Award, the expectations were high--and for the most part, they were met. The venue itself provides a fantastic, relaxed vibe, complete with plenty of TVs and a music stage, making it the perfect spot for chilling out on a lazy afternoon or settling in for an evening hang. The Main Event: Pitmaster Excellence The true test of a Texas BBQ joint is the holy trinity, and here, they nailed the fundamentals: * Brisket: This was Texas BBQ as it should be. The brisket was super juicy, delivered a profound, deep flavor, and possessed a flawless, great bark that spoke to hours of skillful smoking * Spare Ribs: A study in contrast and texture. The ribs offered a satisfying "good pull"--firm enough to bite but still falling cleanly off the bone. The thick, peppery bark was beautifully balanced by a slight sweetness from a pepper jelly glaze, adding a layer of sophisticated flavor you don't always find. * Pork Belly Burnt Ends: These were pure decadence. Each bite provided a delicious, melt-in-your-mouth experience with a distinct and welcome hint of Fierce Whiskers bourbon woven into the smoky, fatty flavor. They are so rich and irresistible, you know you shouldn't eat too many, but good luck stopping. * Jalapeño and Cheese Sausage: This locally sourced link brought the heat with a good level of spice. The flavor was excellent, though the texture leaned slightly toward the processed side, which was the only minor drawback among the meats. The Supporting Cast: Sides A great plate of BBQ requires sides that stand up to the meat, and while two of these were stars, one needs a little work. * Mac & Cheese: An absolute winner. It was cheesy, creamy, and featured an excellent smoked flavor that permeated the dish. The slightly charred edges added a delightful textural counterpoint. * Hash Brown Casserole: This was a surprisingly strong contender, offering a nice assembly of savory flavors. The secret weapon was the corn flake topping, providing an unexpected but welcome crunch, complemented by a satisfying hint of bacon. * Creamed Corn: Unfortunately, this side was the weakest link. It tasted primarily bland, despite a slight peppery note. It desperately needs some fresh jalapeños mixed in to cut through the creaminess and add the essential Texas kick. Final Verdict The meat selection here is truly Top 100 worthy, excelling in technique, flavor, and execution (especially the Brisket and Burnt Ends). The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed gathering. While the Creamed Corn missed the mark, the stellar Hash Brown Casserole and Smoked Mac & Cheese prove that their side game is usually strong. Come for the high-quality, authentic Texas barbecue, stay for the great outdoor patio.

We got the chopped beef sandwich and decided to share it between three people since we just wanted a taste. Gotta say it was darn good & I'll definitely go back to try more. The beef was so tender and juicy that it really did melt in our mouths. The bun was soft and fresh and held the sandwich together well.
