Came here during Musikfest with some friends. They got some cold brewed coffees (one nitro, one not) and a macchiato with almond milk and a vanilla shot. It was hot out so I got a peppermint house made soda. We all tried each other's drinks and we all agreed that they were honestly some of the best coffees we have ever had. I really didn't know what to expect with the home made soda but I was blown away. Our barista was also very cheery and nice and answered a lot of questions well. The decor was very cool and there was even some art on the walls for sale which really interested one of my friends. Not sure what more you can ask for from a coffee shop! It's a shame I don't really live in the area, but when I go to Musikfest again I'll be sure to come here. read more

This is a really great coffee shop with organic fair trade coffee. It's not a deli as someone suggested. They have pre-made sandwiches and salads as a bonus. I asked about their meats and they are all natural with no fillers or nitrates. The dressing for the salads use oils & vinegars from Seasons. They have a yogurt bar with a lot of choices of toppings with the addition of granola from the Granola Factory... I like the vibe here. They are going to open the back room after musikfest. It has wifi. Ooh and their lemonade is amazing. Today was peach. Ooh oh, they have almond milk! It's a little hidden but I think it's a gem. The staff is really friendly. I'm from NYC where most coffee places are stuck up and overpriced and I have to say that this place delivered in atmosphere, creative espresso beverages and personality. Was in for the first time with friends the other day. It was freezing out, but the atmosphere at The Joint warmed me right up! Tom and Bill were both so sweet. My almond milk cappuccino was absolutely perfect and served in a giant colorful mug which made it even better. Our soup and sandwiches were also delicious and clearly made with care (and did I mention, vegan?? It's SO nice to find a place with that option). Best coffee shop in Lehigh Valley. Calm atmosphere, great coffee and the best lunches.

Randomly rolled into Bethlehem, PA on a roadtrip and turned to Yelp for some ideas. During our too-short 90 minute visit we hit the visitor's center, The Joint, an olive oil shop, and the massive Moravian Bookstore (and junk shop). Thanks Yelp for The Joint! We never would have happened across it on our own. It is tucked inside a walkway inside a little complex. Someone on Yelp mentioned a lavender latte, so I went into wanting that. They make their own syrups. I was tempted by the idea of sage (!) but stuck with the lavender idea. It was excellent. Even though it was a flavored drink, it was apparent that it was high quality coffee that had been made correctly. There was no hint of bitterness, not even the kind that a flavor/sweetener tries to cover up. The strength was perfect. The lavender was complex: fruity, floral, sweet, savory, strong and subtle at the same time. Having been gifted with 1lb of culinary lavender as a wedding present (a HUGE amount by the way) I am determined to try this at home one day. If I ever wound up back in Bethlehem, PA, I would seek out The Joint again and try the sage latte. read more

Overrated is to say the least. I came with my friend during our snow day to enjoy a nice, quiet, hipster lounge. Although that did meet our expectations, the food and coffee was horrible. We didn't get the lavender latte that others recommended but did order a simple macchiato that was way too small and had a overly bitter flavor. I also got the avocado toast which was bland and overly "mediaize". She got a bacon cheese bagel that looked like it was made in a easy bake oven. All over priced and to be honest, above all I was just disappointed because of the hype this place had. read more

Yes! The valley was in need of a coffee shop like this. The Joint is the hidden gem of the Main Street area, being located within a small pathway right off Broad, which can be easily missed. It is a small business, which is the only place I get my coffee from. The prices are reasonable as compared to many other coffee shops I've been to and the atmosphere is very chill, cozy, and warm. The employees are always friendly. They basically provide everything you need from a coffee shop. And they have great hours. I feel like I can always rely on them being open when I'm in the area. Oh, and they have specialty drinks like s'mores latte and honeycino, which are both delicious. Needless to say, I love The Joint! Definitely check them out when you're shopping Main Street! read more

Very cute small cafe in a courtyard behind the main road. Just a few food options, but the chickpea sandwich and quinoa salad were very good (and vegan friendly). Their tea and coffee is what sets them apart. Definitely a good place to stop by. read more

The latte was superb,despite limited flavors available,,,,a real mug would have been special for a drink consumed on site!The shop is cute,nicely designed and there the positives end,,,,,,no food available at a 2:30 pm stop,nothing at all in the cases,,,a wandering consumer came in asking for soup,nothing to be had,,,,,and the coffee maker had not a thing to say while making the coffees,,,,,,awkward if not unfriendly,,,,,this place has a looonnngggg way to go to compete with the shop just around the corner!!!That is,if you can find this place hidden away to start with!!!Good luck business owners,,,,,will not be coming back if I go with first impressions,,,,, read more

In town for the day and stumbled across this place. It's nice and quiet and off the beaten path. Guy taking orders was super friendly and although my drink came out slightly different than I ordered whatever the gal made was super delicious so I have no complaints. I haven't been to anywhere else in the area to compare but I wouldn't even bother looking. The drink was well crafted and at a reasonable price. Their coffee is good, although not as sweet as the usual Starbucks stuff. The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting, and the shop is cute and decorated with interesting conversation pieces. I definitely recommend the drinks and it's a great spot to have a nice chat with a friend or read a book. I have not tried the food. I also love how it's tucked away in a quiet little spot. read more
