I am not sure how a diner can be this bad! In fact, in my 60 plus years of life I have never eaten at a "diner" this amazingly horrible in my entire life. Attitude of waitress - 0, Food - 0, cleanliness - 0 Everything that can be wrong with a place is in this place. It started with the bad attitude of the server and ended with a nasty dressing (tasted kinda like watered down mayo and ranch) that they suggested was a replacement for mayo on a burger. This stuff was too wet to be on a salad much less a burger. It was vile. Most of the fries were the crumbs that come out of the bottom of the frozen fries bag. The burger was ordered well done, because it is ground beef. Processed meat should not be eaten any way but well for health reasons which is why McDonald's and Burger King serve all their burgers well. To make sure my burger was well, they cut a chunk out of it or someone took a bite out of it. I'll let you decide from the photos. However; a well done burger does not have to mean a dry burger, unless you eat here. That might be why they have the watery liquid for the burger, to cut down on the dryness. The bun was well done too, actually burned. The tomatoes were thicker than the burger and the lettuce was literally dripping water and flooding the plate making the burger bun soggy. All in all not a good experience at all. I will never go back. This is the worst meal of 2022 and to be honest, the worst dining experience I have had in the past 5 years. I mean serving food on a dirty plate is inexcusable. The red smudges/things you see on the plate were dried and crusty. Obviously has been through the dishwasher and dried on the plate. Disgusting. I sat at a small booth right before you go into the other dining area. The wall had hand prints and smudges all over it. It clearly had not been wiped down or cleaned in some time much less that day ( it was 12 Noon when I was there). I sincerely doubt it had been cleaned in the past two to three weeks. read more

Renamed to The Jersey Diner but still exactly the same including same ownership as Time to Eat Diner. Mediocre food and claim to have homemade kielbasa and pierogis when there is literally a freezer full of frozen off-the-shelf ones in the entrance with the freezer labeled "Homemade." Honestly, this is the kind of place I'd expect to see on Kitchen Nightmares or something. The food is mediocre and made my wife sick. Just to make matters worse, nobody in the staff were wearing masks while 240 people are dying daily of COVID in Florida. read more

What a rare find! We've discovered " Time to Eat" accidentally while shopping in nearby grocery store. Luigi, the host, invited us in and presented with rather amazing menu. Polish, Italian and American. Being Polish ourselves we went for pierogi, stuffed cabbage and kielbasa. What a treat! Polish food with Italian flare ! It couldn't be better. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in Florida that bend over backwards to accommodate food challenges. Today, I was very surprised to get a different reaction from staff. All I could order were two hard boiled eggs. To my surprise, I was charged for the whole meal at 5.95. I figured there come prices as a side. The manager refused to come out to talk to us. We were told, "It's not our fault you have allergies.". Even the truck lobster guy takes off $2.00 for my plain lobster meal. read more

This place is direct from NJ and is the real deal as far as NJ diners go. The matzo ball soup with noodles is the best anywhere in the county! We come here a lot and are always happy with the food. So we heard from a few people to try this place. They said it was amazing, but it was not for us. It took them 20 minutes to simply take our order, the food took 40 mins (we got a piece coconut pie & potato pancakes). The place was old, smelled bad, and just wasn't an appetizing environment. The coconut pie wasn't great at all, and the potato pancakes were so thick and they had no flavor. We won't be back to try anything else. read more

This was my 4th trip to Time to Eat since they opened. I was not a fan then, and I am not a fan now. I had hoped they improved with time but that is not the case. The service was ok and it was not crowded on a Sunday morning. We each ordered grits with our eggs (mine- 2 eggs over hard, bacon, grits; daughter western omelet and grits- no toast or bread for either). The eggs were ok but the grits were not so great. This was a neat little diner. The décor was very modern and the establishment was amongst the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen! We visited early (8a) on a Sunday morning. At first I thought for sure we would have to wait for a table, to my surprise we were seated right away. Service was prompt and very friendly. During our visit the waitress was on top of everything from extra napkins to coffee refills. I ordered eggs benedict. The eggs were perfectly pouched, had cooked well and the English muffin had a nice toast to it. The hollandaise sauce was a little on the bland side but all in all it was wonderfully prepared. I also tried the French toast off a friend's plate and it was delicious, huge portion. I can easily say the French toast was one of the best I have had. On the menu they even had stuffed French toast, I will defiantly try it next visit. The menu selection was very large and I am pretty sure almost anyone can find something to their liking. There is also an enormous selection of homemade pies and cakes, they jump out at you when you first walk in the door. They looked amazing, I was so full from breakfast I wasn't able to try any, oh well, next trip. Great little diner, looking forward to my next visit. read more

So glad to have this diner here. Is it as good as the Jersey and Pennsylvania diners of old with 500+ items, a full time bakery and open ding to dong? No, but it's as close as your going to get in sleepy seasonal Jupiter, FL. We had excellent service from Samantha; heads up service, answered any question along with suggestions and exemplary service, i.e., she warned us in advance of our included desserts that were running low, we requested hot sauce and she brought four bottles of varying degrees of hotness. This is a diner with all the main stays along with the expected Greek items, however they also offer "Traditional Polish Delicacies". I went diner traditional and had the meatloaf, three large pieces served bacon wrapped with mushroom gravy. Considering the relatively large portions here it did strike me as odd that the included mashed potatoes were just a standard ice cream scoop size. One, ice cream scoop form is a little "school food" like, and two if your providing generous portions add a bit more potatoes...the cheapest item in the kitchen. My wife had the Polish Sampler; (2) grilled Kielbasa, sauerkraut, (4) Pierogies, and (2) stuffed cabbages. This was served with beautifully prepared caramelized onions. All good and more than she could eat. To start they offer three choices of soup, a tossed salad and ice cream or one of their many layer cakes for dessert. Samantha snatched two Red Velvet cake slices that were really excellent. Brand new diner, newly decorated and good diner menu.... This was opening day and since it is in our neighborhood, we decided to be one of the first customers to have dinner here. The place is decorated very attractively and since it's new, everything sparkles! There are both booths and tables, just like an old time diner. Also, like most diners, the menu was extensive with breakfast items served all day. Our dinner specials came with both soup and salad, and also dessert. It was a great deal. Both my husband and I had the Potato Leek soup. Very good, not salty, and it arrived in a small cup size. Perfect! Salads were fresh and we had the oil and vinegar dressing. The only glitch was that since it was the first day, the wait staff was a little confused. They weren't sure who was serving which tables and they didn't really know the menu. It's understandable since the menu was pages and pages long. (So many, I didn't count them!) My husband had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes which was a huge order. There were three large, thick slices of meatloaf covered with mushroom gravy. It was enough to take home for the next day's lunch. My husband said it was delicious! I ordered the Cavatelli with Chicken and Broccoli. The broccoli and pasta were cooked perfectly! Chicken was white meat and cut into think slices. The flavors were delicious and well blended. I also had enough to take home for lunch the next day. Included desserts were many: pies, cakes, pudding and ice cream. We had the carrot cake and chocolate ice cream. Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Loved the retro decor. The menu is huge and easy to find something to enjoy or hard to make a choice among so many things. Hubby ordered the Hungarian Goulash, sister-in-law had a roast turkey dinner and I had a panini sandwich. The portions were generous, we all took home food and the food itself was hot and tasty. The bacon looked like it was sitting out for days and just refried. The ice tea had a weird after taste. It just wasn't good at all. We were the only people in that entire place.... Would recommend breakfast or lunch here. Dinner time quality has really gone down the hill. Frequented this place a lot when I was down here nov 2019 to March 2020. EVERYTHING was good and of real diner quality no matter what time of day you came. Back down since Feb 2021. Breakfast and lunch are still good but went for dinner three times and it was terrible every time. Had to send Fried fish back twice one night as it wasn't cooked enough. Fried chicken used to be hand dipped and fried. Now it's pre made frozen crap. Breaded Pork chops used to be awesome. Now you get one and it is sub par. Won't be back for dinner. I would not recommend this diner to anyone. The coffee was not hot and the orange juice was not fresh. I had the whole wheat pancakes which were not bad. My friend had the chipped beef which he had just one bite and left the rest of it untouched. The hash brown were also not hot. First time trying this place. The positives: They have a HUGE menu, quite a few interesting looking dishes, from Polish to Italian to Greek to burgers and everything in between...rivals the Cheesecake Factory in the amount of menu items. The dessert case looked amazing, though I didn't try any dessert. Overall portion sizes were more than plentiful. The not so positives: Iced tea tasted off. When I asked for another drink the waitress said, " A lot of people don't like the tea, don't know why." I ordered a house specialty, the "homemade chicken in a basket", which said it came with fries, cole slaw and a pickle. I don't know what I was expecting...but it didn't say anything about being fried chicken, but that's what it was. As far as fried chicken goes, I suppose it was okay, nothing spectacular, overall flavor was grease. I like some seasoning in fried chicken batter. The cole slaw was overly creamy...way too much mayo for sure. The pickle was missing but there were a few onion rings on top of the basket that weren't listed on the menu and luckily I like onion rings, bc that was pretty much what I ate. I ate the tiny drumstick and gave the rest of the chicken to my hubby. I couldn't eat the fries bc even though the ketchup was in a Heinz bottle my taste buds know Heinz and that was not real Heinz, or if it was, it was way past its prime, a really funky taste. Yuck. Hubby ordered potato pancakes and ate them all, no complaints but no raves either. Kiddo ordered hot dog and fries, which she liked. There is a Wendy's right next to the diner, so we ran through the drive through for me afterwards. I think the ice tea problem was a Tequesta water issue bc the iced tea at Wendy's tasted weird too. This is now called the Jersey diner. We tried it in hopes that the new name came with some large improvement but it still has the same horrible service and mediocre food. Waitress made several mistakes on our order and just kept saying, I've been here since 10 am. It was only 7 pm. Not really that long a day. Sauerkraut was brown, never seen that before, and didn't taste good. Hamburger was decent taste but the meat color was a little grey. Best thing was the fries. One server kept singing badly throughout the entire meal. Overall, don't waste your time or money. read more

My wife and I as well as a group of friends came here after church today. I was highly impressed with the menu selection. As I was waking to my seat I noticed the abnormally large portions they served compared to most restaurants these days. And the prices weren't abnormally large. I was very pleased with my Reuben sandwich. It was one of the best I've had. Service was good and it's what I expect from an old school diner.
