First time trying this restaurant. Ordered the traditional eggs Benedict $10, 2 perfectly poached eggs, large slice of delicious ham, nice hollandaise sauce and tasty English muffin. Large portion of requested well down hash browns and a cup of coffee. Looking around the strawberry topped waffle looked really good. Attentive staff. Every breakfast I get from these guys is incredible. Most recently I got the breakfast burrito and it's humungous and delicious - packed full of ingredients and top-notch tasty. S'more french toast before that, super tasty and filling. The Elvis is also incredibly good. Every single thing here is quality, filling, and delicious. The food is great maybe 80% of the time. It's a busy restaurant, so it's understandable staff is busy and can get a bit overwhelmed--especially on the weekend. Carly and Madison are two employees, of whom truly don't seem to be able to handle a busy restaurant. I waited a while... a long while for a carry out, saw how mildly busy it was and the reason for the two stars is because of staff seemingly not to have the personality to handle a busier restaurant? Honestly not to dig in too much to these two, but Carly and Madison not being able to handle a busy brunch time and to have that projected with attitude and a lot of condescension just... isn't it. To whomever it is that decides to go her for brunch, most of the time the food is pretty good. Went to jagged fork around 10 am on Saturday morning. We were greeted and sat almost immediately by a pleasant hostess, we than sat for about 10 mins for our server to come over and take a drink order (2 coffees) which took about another 10 mins to receive. At that point we ordered our food (breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict). The food came out pretty quickly and was to order. The breakfast burrito was an average breakfast burrito. The eggs Benedict were pretty disgusting. The English muffin was soggy and tasted like it wasn't cooked, it was grainy and doughy. We received our check and it was 30 some dollars. I paid with a cc and when I received the bill to sign the amount changed and was over $45 I was surprised, I waited to ask the waitress but she was no where to be found. When we left we saw her on the patio flirting with some guy walking down the street. My biggest complaint is that they added 18% gratuity to the bill for just 2 people. This gives the waitress absolutely NO INCENTIVE to give their tables the attention they deserve and it shows because she was terrible. She never once checked on us or refilled our coffee it was pretty terrible. Needless to say I won't be back at all I can get much better service at a different restaurant with the same quality of food. read more

Enjoyed brunch here. It was poppin' on a Saturday afternoon and we waited for about 45 minutes for a table. I wish they would use nowait so I could get it online via the Yelp app. Wait notwithstanding, once seated - our food came out quickly and was delicious. I had the chorizo benedict. It was delicious as far as Benedict's go and I got to try a couple pancakes that our table had and they were truly the star of the show. Don't go without trying a pancake! I went here during Covid so we ate in the car. I ordered the Reuben and sweet potato fries. My cousin had the chicken strips and fries. Mine was really good my cousins chicken strips, not so much. Visited Jagged Fork on Sunday 9-27-20, it had been about two years since I had been there last. The food was great. The service our waitress Carly gave us was fine. I had planned on writing a glowing review and posting photos of their delicious food again. Today though when going through my online banking, I came across the charge for my breakfast and noticed that I was charged an additional $2, more than what my receipt showed. The tab already includes 18% gratuity automatically added. We were only a table of 4 but again no problem. The receipt asks if you'd like to add an additional tip. I circled the amount $32.24 and signed my name, not adding anymore on the credit card. Instead I put an additional $2.50 cash in the credit card tin which was over 27% total tip...then another $2 was mysteriously added to my credit card...super shady... read more

So I definitely feel that we are able to try more places with carry-out during the pandemic than we are able to eat at in-person. Jagged Fork may be a good example of that. Looked up brunch places on Yelp and Jagged Fork stuck out. We've always wanted to try them out but somehow the timing never worked out. Reviewed the menu and that sealed our decision. The menu has a heavenly looking array of sweet and savory dishes including pancakes, crepes, french toast, omelettes, eggs Benedict, skillets, sandwiches, salads, and healthy dishes. I was really looking forward to what I call "dessert for breakfast" so ordered one of the new items, S'mores French Toast. Um, it was amazing. Graham cracker crusted challah toast, with Nutella and mini marshmallows, and drizzled in chocolate syrup. My husband went with a more traditional breakfast of the Triple Triple Skillet, which was potatoes and cheese, with ham, bacon, and sausage with egg. He said it was good. We ordered around 10 am on a Sunday and it was ready in about 30 mins, which was pretty good given how busy they were. There is a small lot on the side of the building and also street parking. Carry-out during this time seemed like a well-oiled machine. The table and chairs were packed up and put out of the way, but it seemed like it would be a laid-back and comfortable restaurant during dine-in. I have a feeling that it would be packed during time of normal business pre-pandemic so I was happy to try out the food for carry-out. No reason to go here anymore. We returned after a couple years to what had for years been our favorite breakfast/lunch spot. Everything we loved and cherished about this restaurant is gone. They've removed all the unique, special dishes like red velvet pancakes & creative breakfast entrees. What remains is run-of-the-mill fare. The dining room is now brightly lit & nondescript. The service was great, but at one point the dining room became frigid. The staff immediately turned up the heat, explaining that the owner had turned it off when he left, in the middle of lunch service! I ordered here for the first time today. The food was fresh and pretty tasty. My only complaint is that my eggs weren't scrambled hard enough. The portion size is hearty and very filling. Since my initial review I've ordered here two additional times. I ordered lunch which was the Cali Club with fries. The club was good but it was a bit soggy. There is nothing that I hate more than a soggy pita,tortilla or bun. I didn't care for the fries, they weren't cooked long enough. The last time I ordered here it was a complete disappointment. My waffle was cold and the bacon was super greasy and cold. Basically the meal wasn't edible. This leads me to believe that the food wasn't made to order,but I could be wrong. Had the waffle and bacon been prepared fresh,it probably would have been awesome. A lot of restaurants don't cook bacon as a made to order item but I've never had that happen with a waffle. Really enjoyed breakfast/brunch. They don't take reservations, went with a group of 7, it was really nice of them to put some tables together. It's not a huge place but it worked well for us. Food was really good. Everyone got something different, all the food looked delicious, portions were rather large. I got the voodoo benedict, chorizo on English muffins with avo, eggs and salsa verde. You can get hash browns or fruit on the side which is a nice option. I love the voodoo, I ate half and boxed the other half, then left it in the restaurant :( They also have mimosas and bloodies, just saying. I would like to go back and try the lunch menu. read more

I think it's important to share this observation. My family along with other white families were seated in a back, less trafficked section walking us past an area of primarily black only patrons where there were open tables. While this segregation wasn't apparent until after the meal, we will not be returning to support this restaurant. Hoping a Yelp review may invoke change at this restaurant because they did have solid breakfast options. read more
