This a nonprofit group of volunteers organized as a symphony orchestra that performs at various locations as posted on their socials (#TMSO), playing public domaine classical pieces. This museum has the largest collection of model Ts on display. Fun fact: there were actually two model As, and no model P for, well, I think obvious reasons. Not only is every model Ford built at the plant on display, but also competitor's vehicles of the time, including an electric car that Mrs. Ford is reported to have loved driving. There are many surprises I will not spoil. If you love cars, history, old architecture, and friendly knowledgeable tour guides, this is a must see place on a visit to Detroit. Or for folks who live in Detroit who want to know more about its rich history.

The Model-T Automotive Heritage Complex, Inc., aka the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, was organized in 2000 as a nonprofit to preserve the Plant & keep it from being demolished. It's a museum & education center offering special programs & events. There are weddings here on weekends. In 1996 it was dedicated & was placed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. We spent about 2 hrs here & looked out the window at how part of this factory was converted to apartments. Over 1,600 men worked here over 100 years ago manufacturing Fords. There are over 65 rare automobiles including Henry Ford's "Letter Cars," unique Model T conversion vehicles, and other antique cars manufactured in Milwaukee Junction. We visited Henry Ford's office and Secret Experimental Room where the Model T was created in 1908. We experienced one of the world's oldest surviving automotive plants through a guided tour led by museum docents.

Before the meeting started we heard a rousing speech from the director of the Junior Achievement location in Southeast Michigan. The room is filled with office space and business spaces that have been built out by major corporations in the area. Each one is set up, so that, the participants may be able to carry out the duties they will be assigned for their projects. The projects range from class study to lectures to short and long term work in relation to starting a business and setting a budget. Some of the projects include going for financing, then manufacturing and finally issuing stock or offering partnerships. The activities are detailed in their application. Check them out! The building itself is warm and cozy even in the deepest of winter days. The displays are brightly colored and well cared for.

I guess it's called that because they showcase different Artist from e everywhere. The Artist that I really fell in love with was Catherine Washington, a new Artist. She is an amazing local talent. View her crochet work in my pictures - see the beautiful face she crocheted! I can't believe what she can do with yarn. Incredible! The Artist Market has many beautiful and unique pieces of other artwork, like jewelry, crafts, ceramics and more. I Will definitely be back...they had wine and cheese too!

The back has local work that you can purchase- pretty reasonable priced. I actually bought a painting from a local black artist here. The Hannan Center is a great place for seniors to check out. My friend told me about the art…read moregallery. Once I check the center out, I found out about the art classes they offer. For a small fee of $9, I got 15 weeks of lessons. For that price I signed up for 2 classes. The people that work there are kind and the people in the classes are nice and supportive also. I have learned a lot about collages and have been in 2 of the art exhibitions. A great place for seniors to get involved in different activities. Thanks to the staff at the Hannan Center from the janitor to the top administrators.
