I had been looking forward to trying The Human Bean in Suwanee for a while, and since I was in the area with some time to spare, I hopped into the drive through. I ordered a white chocolate mocha, which I believe they called a Snowi, or Snowy, I remember hearing something like Snowi when I placed the order. The person who took my order was very pleasant, and when I pulled up to the window, the barista making my drink and handling my payment was incredibly kind. She had a beaming smile that honestly made my day a little brighter. Unfortunately, the drink itself is where things took a turn. On my first sip, I immediately tasted something sour, and there were chunks in the beverage. It appeared that the milk used was spoiled. I had to spit it out of my car window right away and rinse my mouth out with water. It was shocking, especially for a first visit. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I usually take pictures and share positive experiences, but I chose to post this because a spoiled dairy product could genuinely make someone sick. I would hate for someone else to go through that, or worse, get ill from it. I really hope this was a one time mistake, but it did leave me hesitant about returning. That said, the staff interaction was truly great, and I want to highlight that because kindness matters, and they delivered on that. I also hope the company finds a way to ensure better quality checks so this doesn't happen again. I'm grateful for the smile, and hopeful they address the issue, because the potential here is clear. read more

The service here is always great. It's a chain based out of the Pacfic Northwest (Medford as I recall) and Their coffee is truly of the Northwest variety where strong dark coffee gets people through what is usually 7-8 months of gloom a year. I don't usually order all their sugary drinks, but it seems like quality of the drinks is on par with Dutch Brothers. loved this little drive-thru cafe! drive-thru or walk up service only, so no "ambiance" per se but clean and superior to competitors! many(!) fun and yummy flavors to choose from, i tried their hot café mocha and it was perfect. they give a chocolate coffee bean on top of the cup which is a really cute touch. my friend who introduced me to the human bean loved her iced coffee as well. 5 stars well deserved. hopefully they open more locations! read more

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I used to like Starbucks but then I heard that they started selling TAP WATER that USED TO BE FREE. THE ADACITY!!! But anyway they have these little chocolate covered coffee bean candies that they put on top of the coffees and you can buy them separately. Genius. They have drinks for little kids, big kids, adults, good food, and yummy cake pops. My Mom tried the Mexi and the Java chip (I hope that's the right name.) and she liked both of them. I tried the matcha one and I liked it so much. I love macha but for those macha haters out there or people like my mom that can't drink matcha because they are allergic. This this matcha is soooo mild but still has that distinct matcha flavor that will get you to like matcha again. The service is way better amazing and I haven't been inside yet I only did the drive through so I can't tell you about the ambiance yet, but everything else is 10/10 would recommend * Side note if the cup looks like there's not a lot of drink in it that's because it was sooo good that I forgot to take the picture before I started drinking it. read more

I'm a fan of The Human Bean! One reason being they have a cute business name. I've been waiting for this drive thru coffee shop to open. Service is consistently super friendly. They are patient and helpful especially when you may not be sure what you want to order due to all the cool options. Drink orders are made fast too which is good if you're on the go. They have an assortment of drinks from espresso to cold brew to frozen drinks to teas. I like how they give you a little sweet and cute coffee/expresso on top of the drinks. Some of the drinks I've been hooked on... -Java Chip - you can get it with coffee or without -cold brew- prob one of my favs out of all the coffee shops that have one -Dragonade- it's iced and refreshing! They also have a walk up stand to place and pick up your orders. Having my dog with me a lot, drive-the is most convenient. Always appreciate that I have been offered a pup cup every visit my furbaby is with me. I definitely need to sign up for the rewards app. Hope that comes with some freebies and discounts as I feel I will keep returning. Definitely check them out if you're looking for good service and a tasty pick me up drink. Can't wait to try some of their other menu items. Note- No indoor seating is available. Great new place for coffee, smoothies, and energy drinks. They have lots of options to choose from, even drinks for kids. The Java chip was delicious. The server was a high schooler but very nice and told me about all the drinks. read more

I've heard about this place from multiple people and am so happy one opened up right by my house. I am not the biggest coffee fan and decided to with the chai. They also have different energy drinks and some bubble tea options as well as some food options. They did have nonfat milk which was a plus. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet drinks so I was happy that it overall wasn't as sweet. This place is a drive in or you can park and order at the window. Since it was opening day, it was busy but I got my drink within 2-3min of ordering. I look forward to coming back and getting some of their other drinks! read more

Just as much as we highlight the bad in businesses, I think it's just as important to talk about the good. The Human Bean is beyond exceptional! Really fast service, and I can't wait to be able to go inside and enjoy my order! More than that, the customer service is A+. The employees are always courteous, extremely polite, and helpful with any questions about the menu. I hope that the training and anything else being done to boost company morale continues. It's so easy for people to get burned out and in turn, customers can "suffer" from ill treatment (which can impact business). Here's to hoping for longevity for The Human Bean! One of the worst coffee places in town. They have good coffee but worst service. They do not write the orders and always mess up the configuration ( sugar and cream ratio). You ask them to repeat the order, they will always repeat wrong and will make wrong coffee in spite of correcting them twice. Bad management. read more

I normally love this place, but service has gone down quickly recently. Just today, I pulled up to order and sat at the drive thru for almost 5 minutes before pulling away empty handed. While sitting there, 2 employees walked out the back door and re-entered with one making eye contact with us. He had to have also seen the other 3 cars behind ours. When we drive by the front of the store, we could see multiple employees just standing around. This was all around 2:45pm, so definitely not at closing time. Please work on that service so I can give you the higher rating I normally would have. read more

I love this place but there is a gentleman that works there in the mornings who never looks friendly, he doesn't smile, he doesn't look too happy & his demeanor is always this way & it doesn't fit in well with the Human Bean brand in my opinion but the coffee, the food & everything that I've tried is delicious & I will be back but I feel that I am not going to frequent it as often because of this. read more
