The Cafe is a really nice gem of a restaurant. The interior is very inviting with plants, decor, and a variety of seating from window bar seating to view outside, tables, or padded lounge chairs. The staff is attentive and friendly. The sandwiches (Turkey Club and Turkey & Avocado with cheddar) were well presented with decent fullness for the price. The lattes (Toasted Marshmallow with Almond milk and Salted Caramel with milk) were hot and delicious yet not over sweet. Also, they offer a rewards point program which I'll be using on future visits to try more bakery items and bubble teas! read more

Okay, so this was not what I expected. This place has great ratings, but I'm not sure why. We had lattes, breakfast sandwich, cookies, and scones. Everything was mediocre. One of the hot drinks was served at a temp that wasn't drinkable for a while. The other lattes just weren't memorable and none of us finished them. Our group got the Avocado Toast (9.95), Silly Rabbit (8.99), Mango Boba Tea w/Tapioca (5.49 + 0.75 Mango Flavor + 1.00 Tapioca Pearl + 0.75 Almond Milk), and Chai Latte (4.99 + 0.75 Almond Milk + 0.75 Cold). Wasn't a fan of the lack of price visbility. Wasn't aware of the extra fees until the receipt came. Cashier brought them up as options without mentioning price, hadn't seen it on neither the online nor in-person menu. Taste of food was fine, for the most part. Toast and Chai were nice. Silly Rabbit's a healthy option, although the flavor wasn't for me personally. Mango Boba Tea had hard tapioca pearls. Love this place.. it breaks the "coffee sbux" mold. Very personable staff.. the coffee menu is fresh but has your traditional fair and the minimal food menu stands alone. I had some time to kill since my boyfriend booked a service at the hair place next door. It was the perfect cozy place to spend time reading a book! Cute little place with fantastic service! Antoinette's Cafe is a fast casual, counter service cafe. Found it while looking for restaurants that serve breakfast around Buford. Looked new, so figured why not give them a try. So glad I did! Their menu offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads, smoothies, fresh juices, coffee, and tea. The inside is bright, open, and spacious. Plenty of seating available. My friend and I met here on a Monday morning, around 10:30. The place was pretty empty. There was only one other diner when we arrived. We were greeted immediately by the gentleman at the counter and he was patient as we took our time ordering. I ordered the following: Sausage, Egg & Cheese $5.95 Green Goddess juice $7.99 Cappuccino ~$3 with oat milk +$1 Our orders came out fast and warm. They were exactly as described. The sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich tasted fresh. It was good, but not mind blowing. Not a lot of places offer oat milk as a substitute, so it makes me so happy when I find a place that does! The cappuccino was nice and bold. The Green Goddess juice is a mix of apple, lemon, cucumber, kale, and spinach. It was more tart than sweet, but it wasn't bad. The same gentleman who took our orders brought our food to our table. He was so kind and attentive. He checked on us a few times throughout our meal. Over half of our party of 10's orders were made incorrectly (drinks,sandwiches) and the staff begrudgingly fixed half of them. One of our party ordered a sandwich with avocado and the sandwich was made without it but when asked to correct it, was told that it would be an extra $3. It was a hot mess. read more

I was driving by trying to find a nice spot for a quick meeting and to grab some coffee. I saw this place, Antoinette's Cafe and it seemed quiet and a nice place to stop. I walked in and I let the young lady at the counter know I had to get set up for a call and would order in just a moment. She told me to take my time. A gentleman came out of the back and said, "May I help you?" The young lady let him know I was going to order. I took my 10am call that I rushed in to make. At approximately 10:12am, the same gentleman came back out and said, "We are waiting!" It truly took me by surprise as I just let them know I had a quick call to hop on and would be right there to order. The gentleman was VERY rude. I think he thought I was coming in to just use his table. Not that he has wifi or anything that I needed to use. It's just a shame how customers are treated these days. I told the young lady behind the counter as I placed my coffee order that I am tempted to just leave. She responded, "That is totally understandable." Even she realized the way the man treated me was not an acceptable way to treat a guest. Me, my niece and my God-daugther visited Antoinette's Cafe located at 1630 Buford Hwy NE #2, Buford, GA 30518 for the first time this morning. We ordered 3 items, one being the Avocado Toast. When the man brought the Avocado Toast to my niece, she noticed it had salt on it. She told the lady who took our order she can't eat salt, it gives her headaches. The man came back out and gave a knife to the female worker and she told my niece, "He wants you to scrape the salt off." I intervened and told the man, "We need you to make this over without the salt." This man decides to tell us that, "You should have ordered the toast without salt." 1) this was our first time at this Cafe. 2) the sign for Avocado Toast does not say it comes with salt. 3) You would never tell a person with a nut allergy to just "scrape it off." 4) the customer is always right! I asked for the owners information and the female worker said, "He's the owner!" Well, today was education time. I told this man who now wanted to remake the Avocado Toast after I said I'm filing a complaint on him and his horrible business practices that we wanted a refund because we don't trust him. He proceeded to try and justify his actions with NOT listening, but attempting to talk over me. My niece began to record the incident which was perfect timing since the owner decided to state that he refunded our entire bill, walked over to our table and attempted to grab my Decaf Americano and my niece's Strawberry Smoothie WITHOUT permission. I immediately told him to get his hands off of our items. He then threatened to call the police. I told him "to go ahead and what did he plan on telling the police...that we're drinking the items we paid for?" He chose to not call the police as I told him I would sit and drink my paid for drink and leave when I was ready to leave. Note: when a customer has an allergy to anything on the menu AND the menu does not state the item has that particular ingredient in there, just remake the item, don't harass and blame the customer who just came into your establishment and tipped you 20%. This may not have been racially motivated (the owner is Asian and we're African American) however it was still discriminatory practices from not the employee, but the OWNER of all people!!! That's truly disappointing and unacceptable. I do not recommend this establishment and will NEVER go back there again! read more

There was a pickle that was the size of my pinkie. Ruffles-type chips in a little bowl. My lemonade tasted like lemon juice with a hint of sweetener. My daughter ordered a turkey sandwich, then immediately changed it to chicken salad. She got the turkey. Her mango lemonade was barely drinkable. The bill was 30 bucks +tip. I'll never go back. I ordered the Chickpea Toona Sandwich and a Cookie Crunch smoothie and both were delicious! The ambiance is cozy and comfortable, too. The staff is very nice and answered any of our questions. There are two things keeping it from 5 stars in my opinion: their smoothie blender is extremely loud, so every time they make a smoothie the noise fills the entire cafe. Second, they use disposable styrofoam plates and utensils, which is not environmentally friendly. Overall the experience was great and I'd come here again! read more
