Menu on the outside is limited, so we had to look online on our phones. After a few minutes one of the staff did offer a menu. Great spot but they take an inordinate amount of time to make drinks. Need to improve on efficiency and time management. Today is the 3rd time I waited over 7 minutes at the window for 1 drink. I moved here from the southwest where drive thru coffee places with candy like flavors were the rage. I didn't know how much I loved them and would miss them until I moved here. The human bean not only satisfied my craving it did it above and beyond my expectations. I got the Mexican mocha frozen with oat milk. It was delicious. Unlike other places where one flavor is over powering you could taste the levels of flavors that make Mexican mochas so wonderful. I will be returning again for sure. read more

This place has many great options I didn't know where to start for my first visit. I ended up trying the green tea smoothie. It was very refreshing and filling at the same time. Not a coffee drinker but I love tea and this place had such a great selection! I had a green tea smoothie and it was amazing! I will make the 15 minute drive for this place because of how good it was. My friends are both coffee fanatics and both got different things that they really liked. They have milk substitutes like almond milk and oat milk which is great! I drove through w/my kiddos on a hot and humid weekday night around 7PM to get them a treat after their soccer games. My kiddos settled on italian sodas, and when I ordered I was asked if they'd like italian creme sodas -- and my kiddos were game! We were told they'd come with whipped cream, but alas, that was missed by the barista. They still enjoyed the new-to-them treat and I enjoyed the adorable cups they came in which were perfect for re-use! I've been here 3x since they opened a week or so ago! It's a drive thru style coffee shop with picnic benches outside if you want to linger. They have breakfast sandwiches, pastries and bagels as well as coffee drinks and smoothies. The coffees come with a small chocolate on top. I have now gone here twice as well as my family has made the trip to get some good coffee. Both my snow mocha (I'm not sure that was the exact name) and the cold brew with oat milk I have gotten there were very good. The little chocolate espresso bean on top also adds a very nice touch. The convenience of a drive thru is amazing but it is slow. It wasn't a big deal because I was the only one in line but if it is busy I could see how it could take a very very long time to get your drink. Overall a must try for coffee. read more

This place is a gem and I love it!! It is a little pricey but DEFINITELY worth it!!! The service is always fast and friendly and they even give you some kind of espresso chocolate ball on top of which ever drink you purchase and it's oddly good lol. I really love this place. I don't go out for coffee a lot but this has been a great addition to the Broad Ripple area. I've now been a handful of times and it never disappoints. The service is always quick and very friendly. I love that they put a chocolate covered espresso bean on the lids before you get your drink. (The espresso beans are delicious and last time I went I actually bought a 4 ounce bag!) The other day I was running errands and a refresher sounded good, but there was no Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru near me. Even though the human bean doesn't have it on their menu I went ahead through the drive-thru and asked. They have two different flavors, but I can't remember the names. One had coconut and ginger and the one I chose was more fruity. Mine was so good. I would definitely get it again and again! After years of this area being a "coffee desert" there is finally a great little coffee shop on Keystone between downtown and glendale! I've been saying for years that someone should open a coffee shop around here! With the nearest local places being a bit of a drive off of Keystone your only option was Starbucks (nothing wrong with Starbucks, I just prefer a good local place/small chain to a big mega-chain restaurant). So many fun beverages and so many easy ways to customize your drink! Basically, just tell them what you want, and they will make it happen! All staff have been kind, patient, and helpful when I have stopped here. They have a pretty diverse menu including coffee, hot and iced teas, granitas (an espresso slushy similar to a frappe) and even energy drinks which is a rare find on a coffee shop menu. They have tons of flavor options if you want a flavored coffee or iced tea, and, as a fun little bonus, each drink comes with a chocolate covered espresso bean on top! read more

I really wanted to like this place. Drive through coffee place with great reviews, I was excited! The chai Latte was so sweet I only drank 1/2 of it. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage and it was basically a jimmy dean sausage sandwich from Costco. For 3.50, it was overpriced. The staff inside was nice and I loved the coffee bean chocolate I received with my order. I will say there was a long line/wait and only one drive thru lame was open, with 5 young ladies working inside my order should have been much faster. I'll probably give it one more try before I move on. read more

i am so obsessed with this place! i tried it for the first time when i was visiting friends in oregon and was very excited when i found out they have a location here in indy!! i live downtown but i still make the 20 minute drive more often than id like to admit to visit this place! the bright energy drinks are incredible and i loveeee the cute little chocolate espresso beans that come with each drink!! the food is incredible as well, i love the little sandwiches and bagels!! everyone who works here is so sweet, everything about this place is perfect!! the only issue i have with the human bean is that there isn't a location downtown (it would be incredible to have a location in fountain square or irvington!!) read more

Their Lord Bergamot tea (with add on of lavender syrup) is my new Friday "treat" along with their turkey sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. The Human Bean just opened recently near me and I am so impressed! I ordered a small dark roast, a blue raspberry iced red bull and a iced vanilla latte. There was a long line but it went quickly since the employees were very efficient. I was very excited to try the blue raspberry iced red bull, I had had it previously on a trip to Maine and it met my expectations. Highly recommend if you like energy drinks.
