The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel valued and ensuring everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell the chefs take great pride in both the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. My favorite dish of the night was the scallop Crudo!!! TDF!!! Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, date night, or simply looking for a great meal, this place will not disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Cheers!

We celebrated my mom's retirement here and the staff took such good care of us, I mistakenly set the reservations for only 2 and they accommodated all 5 of us plus a baby, they got a vase for our flowers and even found us an extra chair when we needed it. We got free Champaign toasts and a special opener for the occasion. The food was incredibleeee too, like seriously good, comparable too Ariana's and Bosa's quality or better. Really impressive.

Fun date night but wouldn't go again. I liked the low lighting, but the tables were close together and it ended up being loud. Waitress was in training but did a good job. Started with drinks, my whiskey sour was good. We had steak tartare for an ap. I was upset that the focus of the dish seemed to be the toppings and seasonings rather than the steak itself. I also felt that it was a bit heavy handed on the olive oil. We were served a lovely flavorful sourdough with the tartare, which I felt was just another thing to take away from the flavor of the steak. We had French onion soup for a second Ap. The broth was rich and lovely. We also loved the sourdough in the soup for texture. Once again I thought chef made the seasonings the star of the show rather than letting the amazing ingredients speak for themselves. No notes whatsoever on the mashed potatoes. So cheesy and lovely. Steaks were cooked well and had a nice crust. However I only ate a little crust at a time because I wanted to taste my steak and not all the spices. Chimichurri is my fav sauce, and the Hudson's was entirely olive oil and didn't have the fresh bright flavor I love. The carrot cake really did not hit how I was hoping it would and, once again, not a balanced combo of sweet and spiced, it was just spiced cake. The lady fingers in the tiramisu were over soaked with coffee so it was a soggy mess, and the dark chocolate powder on top was bitter and overwhelming. And to finish off the night, the Hudson's very proud pricing.

The food was so incredible, atmosphere was buzzy, staff was beyond friendly - we had probably 5 different staff make a touch point at our table which created a very fun family dynamic. Food was 10/10 My wife and I both agreed the scallops were the best we have ever had. Perfect cook on the Snake River Farms Wagyu steak. Mushroom side was so delicious. We are pumped to come back. 10/10 on everything

    Wagyu beef tartar

I came alone on first Friday without a reservation, I'd say that was a fail on my part. Ordered the Kramer (a pretty refreshing take on vodka:/cran) and beef tartare. As strange as it sounds, the entire experience probably would have been better if I sat inside. I think the most impressive thing about this place is the vibe and you don't get that sitting outside . The service was fantastic but the food was just okay and pretty overpriced. Highly suggest stopping for a drink and moving along

We spent our 34th anniversary at The Hudson and we had an amazing meal and experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and helped make our celebration special. The food was outstanding--beautifully prepared, flavorful, and served with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and perfect for a memorable evening.

    Scallops

We shared the Oysters, Pork Cheeks, Chicken and the Scallops. The food was simply Amazing!!!! Can't wait to go back!

    Pea Soup

Great dishes, service, and ambience all around! Started with oysters, scallop crudo, and the pea soup. 1/2 chicken and miso black cod with Dungeness crab fried rice for our entrees. Our server Shannon was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu, and bartender Skye gets points for good convo.

The atmosphere is rustic, cozy, and a little exclusive, which made it a really unique spot to grab a drink! We stopped in right after checking into our hotel, and it was the perfect first stop to kick off our weekend. There isn't a ton of seating, but you can choose between the cozy indoor space or the patio in the alley. Since there were only two of us, we were seated right away. If you're looking for a relaxed place to enjoy a quick glass of wine or a cocktail before exploring the rest of the town, I'd definitely recommend stopping by here. It's a charming spot with great vibes!

At first, walking down the alley in downtown Bend, I honestly was not sure what we were about to find. Then we started seeing little fire pit pods, heated huts, glowing candles, and people tucked away having cocktails. It instantly felt cool without trying too hard. Walking into San Simón felt like stepping into some funky speakeasy hidden in plain sight. Dark lighting, moody atmosphere, David Bowie playing in the background, wild artwork on the walls that makes you stop and stare for a second. Just a great vibe all around. The kind of place where you sit down and immediately relax into the evening. The cocktails were excellent. Not overdone, not syrupy, just really balanced and well made. One of our favorites was the "Some Positive Feedback," which came with this sugar rim that looked awesome and added just enough sweetness without overpowering the drink. Bright citrus flavor, refreshing, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. Then we asked the bartender if they could just make us something off the cuff. We said vodka, lemon and lime forward, not too sweet, maybe a little spice. They absolutely nailed it. Crisp, refreshing, layered citrus flavor with just enough heat on the back end to keep it interesting. Honestly one of those cocktails where everybody at the table takes a sip and immediately goes, "Oh wow." As a bourbon guy, I was also pleasantly surprised with the whiskey selection. The bartender recommended Stafford's Reserve, an Oregon bourbon, and I am glad I listened. Smooth, approachable, a little sweet up front with some spice on the finish. Easy sipping bourbon that fit the whole vibe of the place perfectly. What really made the night though was the staff. Everybody was friendly in that genuine way where you feel welcomed instead of "served." By the end of the night it honestly felt like we had been there before, even though it was our first visit. The outdoor setup deserves some love too. Bend cooled down at night, but the fire pits and heaters kept everything comfortable. We could have easily stayed another couple hours just hanging out. Pricing felt fair for the quality of drinks and atmosphere. This is not a dive bar pretending to be fancy. It is a genuinely cool cocktail spot that knows exactly what it is. If you are in Bend and enjoy craft cocktails, bourbon, cool music, quirky atmosphere, and places with personality, go find San Simón. Half the fun is finding it tucked down the alley in the first place.
