Love this restaurant. The lighting, the art, there's soul in these old bricks. The drinks are well made, the bartender made one of the best Bee's Knees I've had and I didn't have to explain what it is. So well made I ended up ordering two more. Service was attentive and charming. It got a little loud as the night went on, but not unbearable. It's definitely not cheap, but the quality for once matches the ol' price tag. It's the perfect spot for a more upscale night or celebration. In a town with fewer options, this is one of the best. They were out of the Hawaiian dish so I had my first taste of swordfish. I time my transit through Redmond to coincide with the 4-5pm happy hour every time can. Been at least 3 times does not disappoint. Parking is impacted, not their fault but allow extra time for that. read more

What a great find! Great service - We will be back next time we are in town. The seating and atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious. The service and food were impeccable! I had the filet Oscar-the cut was tender and cooked as ordered, the crab tasted fresh and the sauce was amazing. Some of the BEST service we have ever had. James was very kind, really helped out with a lot of our questions and was just all around awesome. I was surprised. The first time we ate there it was fantastic. This time, not so much. The staff were very nice and the service was excellent. The food, however, was not up to par. When you pay top dollar for a meal you expect well prepared meals. We had the Tenderloin with noodles plate and the Chicken Marsala. Both meats were not tender and the noodles were overcooked. I ordered the filet Oscar. The steak was good. The crab was disgusting it was shredded and tasted really fishy. I couldn't even eat it. I also had the cream brûlée. It was also disgusting the shell on top was thick and hard, it came cold and the inside was cold and runny. My filet mignon was perfect. However my husband had the shrimp scampi with chowder. First... he found a piece of paper in his chowder...told the gal that picked up his chowder, she went and showed him...after that, he felt our server, the bar keeper didn't even look at him. Then his noodles were dry not cooked and his shrimp was super dry. He couldn't even finish it. When waiter brought our bill. He didn't apologize or offer a free desert. My husband asked that he would at least take off the price of the chowder. Which he did.. $9.00.. Another thing was that the staff was eating off the plate of another staff members plate while I assume he was on break, sitting at the counter between the bar and seats along the wall.. I felt that was disgusting and wouldn't you think they could of been doing that in a break room??? This place isn't worth the hype I heard about. I don't usually write a review like this. Back at Brickhouse in Redmond again. Deb was our server, so perfect. We had the bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp and crab cakes. Both were a home run! Then we split the 17 ounce steak and ordered an extra side of potatoes and veggies. Really delicious steak and we both had our choice of potato this way. Our daughter took us to Brickhouse to celebrate our 53rd Wedding Anniversary. She said that Brickhouse is the best restaurant in Redmond OR. I cannot disagree with her. We started with Baked Brie and Roasted Garlic. Oh my, oh my, we could have stopped with three orders and been very happy. For entree, we split Filet Oscar and Ribeye Steak with baked potatoes. There is something really special about eating an excellently grilled steak. We topped the meal off with a couple of desserts recommended by our waitress. I have been told by several to go to the Brickhouse it Amazing food and great service. So last night ( 6/30/2023) we tried it out. VERY DISAPPOINTED, we had a reservation for 6:30 pm for a party of 4, we got seated at 6:25 pm , and was advised of the Specials for the evening, they took our order at 6:40 pm. 1. chicken parmesan 2 halibut special 3. chicken alfredo 4. seafood pasta we finally got our food @ 7:47pm, 1. noodles were under cooked and not very much sauce, 2, fish tasted like it had been in the freezer too long, 3. noodles under cooked, 4. noodles under cooked, shrimp was over cooked and tasted freezer burnt the sauce was very gross, I ate the scallops out of it and that was all. When brought to the servers attention, we were offered our appetizer to be removed from our tab , and a piece of cheesecake as well, At the end we did get our bill with the discount of the appetizer and 2 pieces of pie although there was 4 in the party. With such high costs at the facility for their food to be so disappointing, we will never come again. Being a Business owner myself and the others that were in the party as well. We went to the Redmond Brickhouse to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were seated near the door and the setting sun blinded my husband due to the inadequate blinds on their door. The waiter apologized and said they were trying to figure out a way to remedy the problem. All they had to do was place something large enough on the shelf behind the booth to prevent blindness. Great start to our evening! I liked the margarita I ordered, but husband thought it too bitter. My starter, a Caesar Salad had zero presentation and a weird bland flavor. Caesar salad dressing has a strong and distinct flavor and the dressing on this salad tasted like rosemary and nothing else. When our entrees came husband complained EVERYTHING on his plate was cold including his steak - he sent the steak back and it didn't help much to warm it. My salmon arrived hot (and a bit overdone) but the sides on the same plate were cold, like they had been sitting for 20 min while waiting for the salmon. For dessert we had the berry cobbler, and the berries had no flavor - I mean, how is that even possible? The texture was right but the flavor was missing! It wasn't sweet, either. I don't know where all the 5-star reviews are coming from. Way over priced and not even mediocre quality of food. Our waiter was very nice and attentive.
