I was torn between that and the only other mocktail, the great gazoo. The peach one tastes like literally nothing. And the gazoo had flavor but wasn't good (the person who ordered it agreed). I'm from out of town and I really love flamingos, so we decided to stop by for drinks. They have a couple of cozy tables outside by the fire, and the inside is absolutely stunning--more plants than I could count, a beautiful bar, and gorgeous decor. The staff were very welcoming, even though it was almost full. I ordered the 'Pretty Pink Drink.' While I didn't personally enjoy it because it tasted a bit like black licorice to me, I still had a great time and would definitely come back. We discovered this place on a whim after trying to park in the Old Mill area and finding it was more challenging than we thought. It was great! A nice location tucked away in an industrial area with a cozy and intimate vibe, lots of plants, and a very niche assortment of cocktail offerings. This one's tricky, because the environment here is awesome. The plants hanging everywhere makes it feel very homy... and hipstery. It feels very Bend if Bend had a feeling. The staff is super friendly. If they're busy, you'll be waiting a few minutes for a drink even if you sit at the bar. They get a back log of orders on the counter pretty quickly. I went mid week and this was happening, so I'd assume Friday and Saturday's here could be a nightmare of wait time and finding space to sit or stand. The cocktails are all pretty much $14 each and you don't get very much in your glass. Albeit, they taste quite wonderful. However, my problem is I drink whatever is in front of me very quickly, so this cocktail lasted me about 10 minutes. So maybe this place just isn't for me, but it's for most other people. I'm glad that I tried it once, but I think there is so much competition in Bend that the prices here vs. amount you get are not worth returning for. read more

Location: Kind of an out of the way locals spot, well I hope so but doubt that will be the case. Buildout: Really tasteful seating area, casual and maybe a little loud but a very cool experience indeed. This is not a huge location but some outdoor seating when the Bend weather permits. Menu: Well this is about libations and fun and yes, they do have some great looking food options but we just enjoyed the Moroccan Goldfish and a well made beverage. Presentation: Was great on a busy night, nothing fancy for tastefully done. Food: I'd say everyone eating was a happy camper or glamper if they were from out of town ; ) Waitstaff: Awesome, happy, fast paced. Value: Hard to put a value on it, it is a great experience along with excellent food and beverage options... and plants, lots of plants. Love the Flamingo Room! You cannot go wrong with any of their cocktails and the staff genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves. The vibe is tropical with plants all throughout the bar, which can be a great escape when it is snowing outside. They also allow minors until 9 (or maybe 10). The food is OK but not really why anyone is there. Their Latin dance nights are also really fun! Follow the biz page on Instagram for event info, it's not a very regular thing. It can get very busy so if you're in a hurry or want a guaranteed seat, go for happy hour. read more

I am giving them 5 stars only because they market themselves as a high quality cocktail bar and that they do deliver on. The lite bites left something to be desired but again they don't market themselves on being a place you should eat. The empanadas were good, the other dips and snacks we had were just ok. The random potato chips served were weird but again bar not restaurant. Service was very good, and extremely fast considering there was not a single open seat when we arrived on a late Saturday evening. Ambiance is definitely a whole vibe. You get very sexy, intimate date night vibes here. You may have to use you candle to read your menu line I did but I'm in my 30s now so that is on me not them. Will bring my wife back. read more

I would've given 5 stars, but super bummed that I paid more for my drink than it was priced at in the menu. I ordered a Cabernet and the wait staff came back and asked me if I had said Cabernet or Chardonnay and I said "oh it was a Cabernet". They then delivered a Chardonnay to the table and I told the server that I had ordered a Cabernet and she went back and fixed it. When my bill came, I was charged for a Chardonnay, and when I told the waitstaff that I was billed incorrectly, the response was "they're the same price so don't worry about it." Well as she was running my card I saw that there was actually a three dollar difference and the Chardonnay was $12 and the Cabernet was $9. Kind of a bummer that they just blew me off about it. I actually ordered the Cabernet partially because it was cheaper Anyway, the atmosphere was fun, a cool little spot. I will go back again and give it a try, but when drinks and food are so expensive nowadays, you need to save wherever you can. read more
