Tidy and organized. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of Christmas things! Come explore. First time at this location. Who knew that on Saturday at 9 pm it'd be so busy here? I guess HD is like a candy store for some. Not me. I visit a HD once every 2 years or so lol!

I had been meaning to write this Home Depot a 5 star review because I come here often and have always been met with the most helpful, friendly employees. However, today's (Sunday 8/13/2023 in the Returns Department) experience tainted it all. RETURNS DEPARTMENT REVIEW: I was trying to do a return and in the process of explaining to the cashier (Rebeca) that I had the receipt for everything except for two items. However, I didn't get very far when suddenly the returns manager looks at me and says, "someone said they saw you grab those from one of the aisles so we won't be returning anything for you". WHAT. I was so shocked, confused, upset... stunned speechless. I literally walked through their door and into the return line. If you know this store's layout the return line is right by the entrance door. I asked them to look at the camera to prove that I didn't come from any aisle, and he said, "I don't have access to the cameras right now". WTF? You are just going to accuse an innocent customer of something based on another person's word without proof? I even asked the people standing in the return line in front of me, "didn't you see me walk in and stand behind you the whole time?" and they nodded! Also, I was doing several returns. I had receipts for all but two of the items (2 doorknobs). The cashier Rebeca did not even bother to look at the receipts and said, "I can't process any returns for you since someone said they saw you in the aisles". She barely glanced at the receipts and just brushed me off like I was a criminal. Actually her actions and attitude were the worst part of this experience because she made me feel so small and worthless and she never even apologized. First of all, if someone was going to steal something from Home Depot, it sure wasn't going to be two doorknobs. And if I wanted to steal them I would've walked right out the exit door with them. Why would I be standing in a return line with a bunch of other items (with receipts - that you refused to even look at to verify!!) As all this was happening, the manager comes back and says, "I apologize, that person said it was someone else they saw" (?!?!?!?). Then walks away. Doesn't even have the courage to come up to me. You slander someone's character like this and THIS is your apology? An "oops my bad" kind of apology?! I am SO stunned and speechless at this point - I can't believe they accused an innocent person of stealing, then act like it's a harmless mistake. I could barely process what all just happened. Rebeca robotically proceeds with the returns without an ounce of remorse or feeling apologetic. Rebeca, you don't belong in customer service. I cannot believe this is how they treat their customers. They simply took one person's word and didn't even think that that person could possibly be mistaken. If they had even tried to listen to anything I had to say in the beginning maybe they could've stepped back and think "hmm yea something doesn't add up". But no - they are so quick to accuse and jump to conclusions without facts and only through hearsay.

Their parking lot is in the small side, but street parking is available. The front of the building looks like an unorganized version of Armstrong Garden Center as one side is lined with various empty pots and a pallet of their house bagged, special soil blend (I learned from another customer that this soil is one of the things LHN is known for). Once you move past that side things make a big jump for the better as you are faces with beautiful, healthy, mesmerizing dahlias. All sorts of vibrant colors and some of the flowers are the size of dessert/salad plates ~ truly stunning!! Once I tore myself away from these beauties, I made my way inside to the house plant section. Here I found some of the common items like spider plants, Boston ferns, and pothos, but also some beautiful, more unique plants plants such as the monstera Thai constellation, mini snow bush, pink variegated string of hearts, and angel wing begonias. All of the plants were full and healthy! I wanted them all, but house plants have become pricey and especially so for the uncommon ones, so I brought 2 home and I'll just need to come back for a few of the others I have my eye on. The mini snow bush I was unfamiliar with, so I asked the workers at the register for care instructions. They were very kind and knowledgable and gave me confidence to properly care for my newest treasures.

It is a family owned business, and the staff is always kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. We especially come at the start of spring to pick up pepper plants (specifically the Calabrian chili pepper plants) as well as strawberry bare roots and herbs. One year we asked about the Calabrian chili plants because we did not see them in stock, and they actually called us later to let us know they were able to get some in. We have also ordered our jujube and apple trees here, along with several other fruit trees for my in laws. Another thing we really appreciate is their willingness to hold plants for you if you call ahead and let them know when you are coming. The parking lot is small but never had an issue with parking.

I had a reservation at the Farmhouse restaurant, but arrived early and decided to explore a shop I noticed near the side entrance. The moment I stepped inside, it felt like being transported somewhere magical. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. The boutique shops lean toward the high end, offering everything from home décor and art to unique jewelry. As you wander through, you're surrounded by lush greenery--the central garden and nursery are filled with a stunning variety of outdoor plants. Along one side, you'll find thoughtfully arranged merchandise, from seeds to greeting cards and gift packaging, with a charming pottery section tucked at the very end. Upstairs, there's a lovely deck featuring patio furniture and hanging plants, perfect for inspiration. The pathway leading to the restaurant is especially memorable, with a series of archways that add to the enchanting, almost storybook-like feel. It's also a peaceful haven for wildlife--I spotted sparrows, hummingbirds, and bumblebees throughout the space, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking is easy, with plenty of free spaces available. A beautiful spot to stroll, shop, and dine--all in one place.
