I would give Pacific Sales negative stars if possible. The day before I moved to California, my brother went to Pacific Sales in the West LA Best Buy specifically to buy me the Fisher Paykell double drawer dishwasher as I keep a kosher home and needed separate dishwasher compartments for both meat and dairy. The double drawer dishwasher is supposed to be 2 completely separate dishwashers which do not mix with each other allowing dairy and meat dishes to not be washed with each other. The point of this product is to provide a 2-dishwasher solution which fits within the space of a single dishwasher. I will also say, I purchased the same (prior model) dishwasher in 2008 when I lived in NYC (from Town Appliance in NJ - great company) and had zero issues with the product during the 3 years I had it installed in my apartment - it unfortunately broke when I moved apartments in 2011, but the product and the company I purchased it from at the time were great and without any problems. Getting back to the Pacific Sales purchase which was on 2/23/2016. The installers showed up the next day, and did not seem to speak very much English. They looked at each other and indicated they had not previously seen a dishwasher like the one I had purchased. I asked them if they needed to call for help but they declined to do so, and over the next couple of hours installed the dishwasher as they saw fit and left. The dishwasher never worked properly. Neither washer ever drained after each cycle, and it appeared that dirty water was backing up into the other washer. Unfortunately, I had already placed kosher dairy dishes, pots, etc. in the top drawer, and they are in all likelihood no longer kosher - several hundred dollars worth. Additionally, at the end of each cycle for both the top and bottom dishwashers, an error symbols flashes and the dishwashers both make an awful moaning sound which goes on without stopping - the only way to stop it is to open each dishwasher at which point another awful and louder sound is made and then the unit shuts off - with backed up dirty water inside. I have a video of this with my iPhone but don't see a video upload feature here. Numerous calls to Pacific Sales have proven fruitless (despite my having purchased the service plan for an additional $149.99 - although the warranty should have covered these issues anyhow). I have been unable to get a service technician to even look at the unit for about 2 weeks. This evening I tried to contact Fisher Paykell directly and was hung up on after getting the runaround from Fisher Paykell that they cannot do anything for me other than call the store and try to set up a technician. They would not guarantee the product. I was informed the process of having a technician inspect the product as well as having an installer inspect the product, have both sides discuss to determine whose responsibility it would be to fix the product, and then potentially have the product fixed (or very unlikely replaced), could take about a month. She said it takes a long time for the retailer (in this case Pacific Sales) and the installer to determine whose responsibility it is. I finally received a call from an installer who indicated to me Fisher Paykell knows there is a big problem with these dishwashers and that he has seen these exact problems with this model purchased by a significant number of other customers. He thinks a dual air gap (about an additional $100) is necessary for the dishwasher to function properly. I have no idea why Fisher Paykell and/or the store wouldn't simply make the dual air gap part of the product and would instead sell a product which is not adequate to function properly. Based on my personal experiences, I would not recommend for anyone to purchase appliance(s) at/from Pacific Sales. Specifically, based on my personal experiences as outlined here, I cannot recommend to anyone who keeps a kosher kitchen who is looking for a 2-dishwasher solution which fits in the space of a single dishwasher to purchase a Fisher Paykell double-drawer dishwasher. I will update, including the positive (if any), as things progress. Update 3/29/2016: On 3/25/2016, George from the installer company came to my apt. He was able to determine the back-up i was due to lack of drainage and not back flow or cross-contamination. The rabbi indicated I could use the dishwasher for its intended purpose. George installed a dual air gap (I had to shell out $93 in cash on the spot) which he indicated is necessary for this dishwasher to function. Dishwasher seems to be working okay now. Very upset at experience and lack of customer service from store/manufacturer as well as the fact this dual air gap is not part of standard package given all of the trouble customers seem to be having with this model of dishwasher without this dual air gap. Worst customer experience ever. WIsh there was a 0-star rating. Went to Pacific Sales and bought a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and range/oven. First delivery comes and both the fridge and range are defective. Not the fault of Pacific Sales I guess but it gets worse. Upon removing my existing fridge they completely damage my walls/baseboards/railing with gouges in the wall, chipped baseboards etc. This fridge had been delivered 2 years prior by Sears with no issues. I remember that the Sears guys wrapped the fridge in a blanket which these guys did not, also the Sears guys had a better shoulder-strap system which probably made it easier to maneuver. It gets worse - I learn that Pacific Sales subcontracts their deliveries so now to get my walls repaired I have to deal with the random delivery company who by the way has a policy where they expect the DELIVERY GUY to work out the repairs with you directly. It gets worse. My new fridge comes today (I paid $800 more to get a counter-depth fridge just to be sure it's easy to install) only to find that the doors on this fridge are dented! So I call Pacific Sales and they tell me I can get a new fridge on Tuesday, which would now have been a week without a fridge (I've already had to throw out $200 in food). I basically have to yell at the customer service rep to tell here that waiting another 4 days for another fridge is unacceptable - so she puts me on hold for 10 minutes and then tells me they can deliver the fridge the same day. I will never buy from Pacific Sales again. Back to Sears when the time comes - remember when you buy your appliances that the company's delivery/installation policies are just as important when you are dealing with thousands of dollars in appliances. read more

Extremely Disappointed with Pacific Sales of Irvine I had high hopes for my experience at Pacific Sales in Irvine, but unfortunately, it turned into a complete nightmare. After waiting a long time to upgrade my kitchen appliances, I finally purchased a full set of Bosch appliances, hoping for a cohesive, high-quality setup. What I received was anything but that. Refrigerator Problems: The fridge was delivered a week after my purchase. By Day 2, I noticed the French doors wouldn't close properly, and the door alarm failed to alert us when it was slightly ajar. I reached out to Pacific Sales, and they referred me to a third-party technician, who came out three days later. His response? "Just close the door firmly." That didn't solve the issue, but I decided to let it go. By Day 22, the ice maker stopped working. I called again and was told I'd need to wait 12 days for another technician. This was a brand-new appliance--why should I have to wait? Oven Color Mismatch: Thankfully, the dishwasher arrived without issue. But when the oven was delivered on June 30, I immediately noticed it was a significantly lighter shade of stainless steel compared to the fridge and dishwasher. I reached out to my salesperson, who had no real explanation. He told me the stainless steel would "darken over time"--what a lame response! I wanted all my appliances to look cohesive, and now it's completely ruined. I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and the ongoing issues with my appliances. I had an amazing experience working with Robert at Pacific Sales in Irvine. He was so patient with my wife and me while we picked out fixtures for three bathrooms. He took the time to help us find the right products that worked within the different budgets we had for each bathroom. His knowledge of the products was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on for what we needed. What really sets Robert apart is his incredible customer service. He was always easy to reach, whether by email or text, and he responded quickly every single time. When one of our orders showed up with missing parts, something we didn't realize until the contractor was in the middle of installation, Robert went out of his way to personally deliver the missing part to our house the same day, driving 10 miles just to make sure our project stayed on track. It had been twenty five years since our last kitchen remodel. We walked into Pacific Sales in Irvine and were introduced to Zeina O. So many things had changed over the years, we were overwhelmed! When we began talking with Zeina all of our anxieties were calmed. Zeina walked with us up and down the aisles and pointed out features on appliances that we were completely unaware of. She listened to us as we explained our timeline and understood that we didn't need high-end appliances. Zeina is a great listener, extremely knowledgeable and has excellent computer skills.
