We Fix Dryers & Washers - Working like new! - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

We can't say enough good things about Ivan. He is honest, fast, friendly, communicative. We hired him to replace our Kenmore Elite washer door lock assembly. He was being upfront about the material & labor cost which includes all the details, 90 day service warranty, and the price came out to be very comparable to other quotes we received ($280). He texted us when he headed our way and quickly got to work upon his arrival. Within 15 minutes, he was done and everything turned out great. We would definitely hire him again in the future for any appliance repair. read more

Straight forward. Found them on yelp to fix my washer suspension rod issue. Price was fair. And Anton was the best. I even added my freeze defrost issue and he fixed that one too... Highly recommended, ask for my new friend Anton. read more

I received Excellent Service! He was punctual and did what I needed done for a reasonable price. Cheers

Alex was great! Repaired my dryer quickly and for a very reasonable rate! Keeping them in my contacts in case my washer needs work

Great response time. Came next day and was very reasonable. Couldn't fix washer due to defect. but fixed the dryer!

Arrangements were made for an arrival time, he didn't ask for my address and I didn't think about it. When I called for an ETA he said I didn't give him my address, he never asked. Made appointment for the next day for between 5 and 6. 10 minutes to 6 he called to say 20 minutes until he arrived. When he arrived, he was n on his phone looking things up the entire time. After 25 minutes he said my lock was broken, it has been broken for 4 years or more. He said he would have to fix that before he could see what the other problem MIGHT be. $275, maybe more to do the lock, i am sure drain in back is clogged, he NEVER pulled out rhe machine. A waste of waiting for an hour and $65 for him to Google on his phone. I was hoping for a better experience and to have my washer fixed. Clothes are piling up every where. read more

I didn't get to work with these guys but they were very honest and didn't want to waste my time and money coming out for something that was too expensive to fix. They told me straight up from the get go. I appreciate your honesty and help via chat after I send videos and pictures to you guys. read more

I had an issue where water wasn't getting to the washer arms. They quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Would use again.

The technicians did a great job fixing my parents' freezer. They were able to provide an effective temporary fix until the new part came in. Prompt, smart, polite guys. read more

Honest help for a sick washer I didn't get fixed. Bought a new one. So sad it costs more to repair than replace at 3 years old

Called in to have my 2-1 washer/dryer combo checked out for an FE code (dryer would not kick on). Reached out and they said there's a service fee but will that it would be waived if i go with repair. Right after the technician takes off the cover, we both see a connector that was not properly plugged in and we both have an "AHA" moment. He reconnects it and the dryer kicks on. So here I'm thinking okay he'll likely just charge me the service fee amount since the "repair" took a millisecond. He then invoices me for service fee amount + extra. I tried reason with him that if I had reconnected that myself all I would've owed him was the service fee, which I would've been more than happy to pay because they came out. Since service fees are typically applied to repairs, it seemed a bit silly that the bill for repair (replugging the connector) totaled to MORE than their service fee amount. Aside from that, technician was nice and professional. I would probably use them again but just be sure to ask them what the repair cost would be next time before moving forward, even if it's a connector 1 star deduction for the extra charge read more

After a long life of many years, my dryer seemingly died on me. We were in the middle of a drying cycle like normal, then we opened the door, then closed it and pressed the button to continue the cycle, but an error message started showing up on the screen. Egads! My immediate thought was it was dead and I'd have to buy a new dryer. I instead came to Yelp and sent some requests for quotes. We Fix Dryers & Washers responded quickly, and Ivan seemed to have a very solid idea exactly what the problem and solution would be. He responded very quickly and headed over first thing the next morning. He removed his shoes upon entering and spent just a matter of minutes taking the console of the dryer apart, soldering the circuit board a little, and putting it back together. This got the dryer back in perfect working order! For a very reasonable cost and very little time lost, this was all very worthwhile. If you need dryer repair from a quick-responding technician and with no-nonsense approach, look no further. read more

They charged me a service fee of $65 (which would have been applied to the repair cost if I had them fix it) to tell me that they couldn't fix my washing machine because it was too old and that I should buy a new one. Washer is no more than 10-12 years old. Disappointing. Update: They made it right by refunding my service fee. Fair enough. read more

Ivan was on time, courteous and highly experienced. He is honest and forthright and based in his candid opinion regarding repair verses buying a new stacked washer/dryer, we decided to go new. I put his magnetic card on my refrigerator, will definitely use him again and highly recommended him. read more

I've used this company twice in about 2 years and they are consistently one of the most professional companies out there. The first time I was so impressed with the professionalism, manners, honesty and clear know-how that it left an impression. I told my colleagues at work about my experience the next day. Turned out I just needed a new washing machine so I purchased a new one, but the customer experience was exactly what you wish you could always get when you call a repair service d. Fast forward a year and I have a leak in my new washer. Immediately I thought of this company. They respond very quickly (which I also appreciated) and again the guys that showed up were exactly like the guy from a year ago. Same great professionalism, manners, etc. They told me it was a clogged pipe (plumbing issue) and recommended a great plumber. All in all I felt better at the end of the day even though I was worried about the leak. I can't recommend this company enough! read more

Our washing machine broke down on a Saturday afternoon--just in time to reach Ivan who agreed to come first thing Monday morning. There he was as promised, so polite and efficient. These guys are great! I sent a message through yelp that I need help with my dryer. I spoke with Ivan & he sent his dad over to examine my dryer. They were able to come the next day. His dad was dressed professionally & diagnosed my dry within 10mins. My dryer wasn't drying properly, it was only getting warm & was taking my clothes 3 hours to dry.. which was racking up my gas bill. Unfortunately, he couldn't fix the whole problem because my dryer wasn't broke it was the venting hose under the house that was the problem. He was sincerely sorry but gave me some pointers on how to fix the venting issue. I would definitely use these guys in the future. read more

Like what the other reviews said, it's so easy to work with them. I asked for a quote, got a response fairly quickly and had a service visit scheduled within the next few days. Ivan showed up on time, had parts in his van, changed the parts and cleaned up the dryer and area after repair. No hiccups, all very smooth. Nowadays this is really hard to come by. I have their card on my fridge now and will 100% call them if I need a repair. read more

My washing machine decided to malfunction out of the blue and Ivan responded fast with a competitive quote. Based on the error code and what the washing machine was doing he knew what the problem was (this series of models is notorious for this issue so he had the part on hand). He's knowledgeable and honest. Him and his father explained the issue, replaced the sensor and checked everything. Ivan answered my questions and advised on which brand to buy next (with reasons). Before installing the part, he showed it was an original Whirlpool part in a sealed package. Meeting and learning of his dad's background was so interesting. read more

I'm very glad I found these guys! My dryer started working very loudly and it took 2 drying cycles to dry things. Ivan quickly responded to my request and the very next morning he was able to repair my drier. He replaced all the rollers, cleaned the drain inside, and cleaned the vent. Now the dryer works like new, dries quickly and, most importantly, very quietly. Thank you Ivan, now I will only call you, you are real professionals!!! Robert. read more

Ivan was very responsive provided and was very respectful of our home while working. He assessed the situation and gave us a quote up front before starting any work, and was transparent and honest about added fees due to our dryer being stacked with the washer and in a hard-to-reach area (only $10 extra). The work was completed very quickly, with a full rundown afterwards of exactly what was done. We also mentioned we are going to buy a fridge soon and Ivan gave us lots of good guidance and recommendations based on his expert knowledge and experiences. We will definitely call them again for future appliance issues. read more

Ivan, you are very good repaireman, let us assign you as our all appliances home doctor from now on. I wasn't sure if I should try your business as there were only 20 feed backs for a year, but you taught that your main business is Esquire Appliance Repair 5.0 (285 reviews), wow that's good, ok, I am totally confident now. And the work was indeed very good cleaning up all dust caused smoke from the dryer, now no worry for five years, how nice. Thank you very much, looking forward to hire you next time for any appliances broken in our house. read more
