I don't accept after all the Home Depot automated systems & Allstate automated mess I get a a repair man after being on the phone all day. Claim # 1 2/9/26 claim #2 again ice maker goes out on the phone from 0921 until 14:45... spoke with Allstate who again wants to send out the same 1 star review repair team. I say No! I txt into Home Depot automated systems Taylor tells me I have two options go through the warranty or bring it back via the sales manager... ok I call the Home Depot sales manager. He tells me "they lied to me" I can't bring the refrigerator back because it's a "lemon law" I have to have it repaired 3 times & he will get back to me. I txt into Home Depot because I'm simply tired of waiting from 0921 this morning. The person/ automated system whomever tells me I need to go back to my protection plan warranty. The moral of this story is Home Depot could care less. Allstate Warrenty will send you incompetent repair teams but they work with Home Depot. I truly would hesitate to purchase a warranty ( extended via Home Depot) Allstate isn't researching the best repair team for your house. The plant section was the only reason I came for this visit, and there were a lot of common houseplants here. The only reason I go to big box stores to check for plants is that, once in a blue moon, there is a really rare plant for a quarter of the price. "Warrenty Scam" Bought a new fridge back in June & was sold on a GE appliance ( ice maker specifically, I wanted it to last) . We'll just a few months later after purchasing the "Home Depot warranty" ( it's not cheap) The ice Maker goes out, so I try & call for service... The 3rd party "AllState" Co. is managing the service so I'm on the "txt only" Line to some non-spelling person ( a bot can't be this bad at spelling via txt) ... 2.5 hours later I'm still going back and forth ( I know I need a tech to come out but they want me to defrost my entire fridge, again to make the fridge work properly). So after repeatedly dropping me from the call center ( after 3 mins of non txting you will get dropped & must start all over again from scratch with redundant questions) Finally "I get the game" So now I copy & paste the same information on me repeatedly every 2 mins so I'm not dropped from the call. The game is to make you wait 3 mins of not texting so your dropped and get frustrated and repair the fridge at my own cost. ( while they "allegedly" look into the problem. As I was trying to rent some equipment from there the clerk rudely explained to me I had to do this and there was no other way, when I questioned him he got very upset and said our equipment keeps getting stolen, this is the same thing you do in the airport and when I told him I don't use it well it didn't make the situation better. So tell me why I needed to make a trip to my 2nd favorite store. I needed to purchase a deep freezer and some pool cleaning supplies. We were helped by a kind associate who helped us get a cart and load the freezer to the cart. He was also kind enough to point us in the direction of the pool supplies. So far this is the 5 star service I'm used to getting at HD. Anyway, as we went to check out with our 2 carts, I noticed that there was only 1 regular check out register at the end, but all the self check outs were open. We walk up and there are 3 associates clustered together. Side note, normally when the associates see me walk up , because I buy A LOT of stuff ALL the time, an associate will start scanning the items for me. Not in this situation... They continue with their personal (not work related) conversation. We needed help with an item that was missing a tag, we asked if there was a way to look up the item. 1 associate stated "No, you have to grab another one" and went back to the conversation with the other 2 associates. As my husband went back to get another item, the conversation with the associates was about the year that 1 associate's father was born (1977). We rang up $600 worth of items, found our own replacement items, where is my employee discount HD? If these employees are getting paid to chat and not assist customers bringing in revenue, I would like my employee discount too. I did more work than they did in the time period I was standing there. There are knowledgeable staff in all of them, but a helpful AND knowledgeable AND cheerful AND friendly staff is uncommon. This Home Depot is packed full of staff with those qualities. I had a horrible experience at this Home Depot today. First off the condition of the store is horrendous. there are pallets stacked everywhere and you just can't move around. My nephew and I were there today to buy material to build a patio, and we had very long 2x6 wood on our cart and we could not move around. After filling up two shopping carts, we were out with our third cart getting more material. When we returned, one of our cars was missing. Home Depot took our cart and restocked all of the material we had on this shopping cart. because there was no place for us to put the two cart because they have so pallets setting everywhere. as I put things on my list I deleted each item so I wasn't sure what we were missing. I told my nephew there's so much unpacked pallets in the isles, why are they worried about our cart. I had to argue with one of the people at the Home Depot, they said they didn't do it. But yet when we went back looking for our material, we found all the material that we just put on our cart restocked. horribly mismanaged store. Do not buy an appliance, (refrigerator or range) from Home Depot. If something goes wrong you are on your own to deal with the manufacture. We have now had 5 service calls, replaced 2 compressors plus several other parts. The problem started on April 21st and is still not fixed. When you call Home Depot they are quick to tell you that it's between you and the manufacture. I get that the manufacture should be the one help do repairs but to not help a customer get a problem resolved in a timely manor is not my idea of good customer service. Home Depot are crooks. We purchased a water heater from Home Depot in 2017. This week it stopped working. It was supposed to have a 12 year parts warranty and a 3 year labor warranty from the manufacturer. At the suggestion of the Home Depot plumbing sales person, we also purchased the additional 5 year labor warranty, so all together we'd have a 12 year parts warranty and an 8 year labor warranty. That's what Home Depot sold us, what we paid for. But now that we are filing a warranty claim with Home Depot under the warranty they sold us, Home Depot refuses to honor the warranty they sold us. Even worse, the Home Depot store computer erases all transactions more then one year old, so even though we had our original receipt plus all the warranty paperwork, Home Depot had ZERO. So the manager on duty told us that there was nothing they could do about our warranty claim. Basically, as far as Home Depot was concerned, it was as if we never even purchased a Home Depot water heater warranty. The current Home Depot are total crooks. read more

Came to this Home Depot due to the Home Depot on Peoria transferring me 8 times (literally) Needed 100 cinderblocks and A load and go truck. Arrived and the rental line was pretty busy, had a Home Depot employee from a different department named Laura come back there to start helping She quickly got everything ready and charged me out Unfortunately there forklift wasn't working so it took a little longer then usual however 3 younger Home Depot employees came out to hand load it. They all had great attitudes and were extremely helpful. While the truck was being loaded Laura went back to desk and took care of the pallet refund since I wasn't taking one as well as reseting the 75 min clock since I hadn't left yet. Overall I am happy with the great customer service at this store and the fact that they have a large tool rental / truck rental department. read more

By far, my worst shopping experience in 5 years living in Arizona. With the exception of two associates, the most basic question related to where something was located was met with the deer in the headlight look. Additionally, the general feeling I got was that I was disturbing them by evan asking a question in the first place. It was as if they had more important things to attend to. Ironically,, the most hospitable employee who assisted me was a young shopper who no longer worked for Home Depot. Management should look into employee morale and provide additional training. This location is by far the BEST Home Depot in the Phoenix area. It's located a ways out of the central city, and is fairly newly built, therefore it's never busy. Finding a peaceful hardware store is serenity in today's world. Especially if you are a woman and often find yourself chasing down employees to help you with the complexity that is home improvement. Their nursery is my favorite department at this location. The staff is so sweet and helpful, I always get asked for help at least three times every time I go. I love Home Depot, it gives any home and any budget a chance to flourish and differ from everyone else's home. This store is so over crowded as the aisles are narrow and parking is terrible as they use the close parking spots for the the large carts which are way more than the store needs. Main issue I dropped an item from the peg hook in the plumbing aisle and bent over to pick it up and hit my head on a steel plate that held a book and serious injured my head reported to assistant female mgr i believe Christine who took the report and said Home deport would get back to me and two days later still not heard from Home Deport. I did return to the store for another item and found the steel plate still in the same location and was told day of incident that the plate that injured me would be removed that day.
