My wonderful experience with Freddi and Raquel at the Tolleson store location was exactly what I needed for our kitchen renovation I came to the store so overwhelmed with the backsplash choices I had previously looked at elsewhere alone and without any help from employees. Imagine how terrific it was to have these ladies work as a team to help make my vision real. They asked questions, really listened to me, looked at my photos, showed me potential tiles in my color scheme, and then paired the samples with the perfect grout. I left with samples, pricing, grout colors and, most importantly, the confidence that I will survive this project and that these ladies are just a phone call away. All floor and decor stores are good but the Tolloson store stands out with the best customer service by going above and beyond. Rebecca is one of the most helpful employees they have and although I have a floor and decor 5 minutes away from my house I'll make the drive to the Tolloson store to place my orders as I know she is a problem solver and will always take care of her customers An example Recently I was looking for a specific floor drain she called other stores and found 1 in stock she them called the store and had them verify the product was physically there instead of just ASSUMING as she knew the store was far away. When we arrived to the other store they said they didn't have it in stock. We let Rebecca know what was going on and she had written the name down of who she spoke to and they were able to find the part for us with in 5 minutes. This is just 1 example I wish I could list them all but essentially it's simple common sense stuff that the tollson store does that sets them apart read more

Visited on 11/16, 11/17, and 11/20. Unable to get anyone to help with anything. Never even got a hello from any employee. Over an hour on each visit to get a quote for tile. Left today as they were having an all hands meeting up front. Applauding themselves for either their sales or some customer service awards. The store up on Bell is so much better but this store is right next to my house. I'll end up going to Home Depot, though it wasn't actually the tile I wanted. read more

My wife and I have been wanting to replace the carpet in our front and back living-rooms with tile for a long time. We began our search for tile at Floor and Decor. We had no idea what tile we wanted but they have a great selection and after walking thru their aisles of tiles it didn't take long to narrow our choices down to three different types. We bought a few tiles of each type that we chose, took them home, and seeing the tile next to our old tile in the kitchen helped us to decide which we wanted. The price wasn't bad either at two dollars and nine cents per square foot. While we were browsing, what we thought were Floor and Decor employees approached us, gave us lots of info about the place, helped us navigate around the store and ultimately helped us pick out the tile we chose. I say "they" because we made four trips to the store and each time it was a different person, but they all gave us contact info for Installation Made Easy. An IME representative did come out to our house, took measurements, and gave us a quote for the tile Installation, which came out to seven thousand dollars. The price of the tile would be added to their installation price. After our appointment with IME, we returned the tile we did not choose to Floor and Decor, and they refunded the price of those tiles with no problem. In addition to Floor and Decor, we also looked at tile at Lowes, Home Depot, Uptight Carpet and a few other places. We found some really nice tile at Home Depot; Selva Ash, it was forty inches by eight inches and we liked it more than we did the Floor and Decor tile even though it was forty cents more expensive per square foot than the Floor and Decor tile. IME would not install the Home Depot tile though. We could only choose IME to install the tile if we used the Floor and Decor tile. So, We got a few quotes from companies that my wife found on Next Door and those installation prices ranged from three thousand to five thousand dollars to install the Home Depot tile. IME then contacted us again and lowered their price to five thousand. We ultimately chose Porras to install the Home Depot tile. The tile cost less than two thousand for 750 square feet. The installation, including removing and hauling off the existing carpet and cleaning up every bit of mess was three thousand dollars. Total cost of the excellent tile installation job by Porras was less than five thousand dollars and that included the price of the tile from Home Depot that Porras picked up and delivered for no extra charge. The tile work is amazing, extremely level, and the border pieces we chose to separate the new tile from the old tile in our kitchen and and also our foyer came out better than we had hoped it would. I would have saved money if I chose the Floor and Decor tile and had Porras install it, but I liked the Home Depot tile better than the Floor and Decor tile, and I saved a boat load of money by not using IME. They are in the business of making money, and I'm sure that they hook alot of people with their process. I'm glad I looked elsewhere. read more

Thank you Rebecca Cuellar and Amanda! You ROCK! I called the closest store to my office, the Tolleson store, to buy a specific waterproof laminate tile as we plan to redo all of our flooring for our whole office. It was a large order of about 4,000 sf. They didn't have enough all at one location, so my order was spread across 3 stores. Rebecca put the quote together and emailed it to me. Later that day, I got my boss's approval to complete the purchase. When I called back to pay, it was after Rebecca C had gone home for the day so I spoke with Amanda who picked up right where it left off, super smooth transition, and she verified the same stock was available at all 3 stores again that Rebecca had put together for me, since several hours had past, and the stores all showed the same, however literally while I was on the phone with Amanda, apparently someone was buying half of what I needed from the Mesa location at that very moment, so my order was flagged on my screen as being more than they had in stock--all while I was on the phone to pay for my order. I guess great minds think alike. LOL Long story short, the process was more troublesome because the flooring my boss wants, is being discontinued. Not a problem though because Rebecca was ON IT and before I could call her, she was calling me early the very next day, first thing in the morning, to help me sort out my now incomplete order. The fact that she knew already, meant that the communication and hand off from Amanda back to Rebecca was seamless too! After several back and forth phone calls between us today, Rebecca was able to work it out and we finally got everything arranged where I am picking up from 2 locations and she is ordering the rest from their warehouse and shipping it to my closest store to save me from paying for shipping. She assured me it would match the first sets picked up, so I am relieved to hear that. I may have to wait a couple weeks for it to come from the warehouse, but that fits my remodel plan perfectly since I can still get started on the first of our office flooring while we wait. Both people I spoke with offered top level customer service and at no time did I feel like all my endless calls bothered them, nor like I this complicated situation was a burden to them. Rebecca Cuellar is a rockstar who went above and beyond for me and my boss. We have ordered from Floor & Decor before buying flooring for a different office location of ours last year, and this level of awesome customer service is why we keep coming back. read more

I LOVE the accent tiles, flooring, and stone accents they have here! A large variety of dreamy materials to make a home extra special. Definately a decorators delight. Friendly and helpful employees. This is a large clean warehouse. So many beautiful options. They even have the tools and materials for us do it yourselfers! Measure well and make sure they have enough material for your project as many items in warehouses like this are being discontinued. I found 2 beautiful wide plank wood floor options and both we not available any longer. What a tease. I did find some nice tile and marble for accent walls and back splashes for our home. It is super easy for employees to look at their availability and that of the main warehouse as well. Any questions they will have no problems answering. Most samples are fifty cents. Some bamboo and wood floor samples are a few dollars more. read more

I've been going to Floor & Decor since 2006. The selection and prices have always been top notch. My work takes me to several of the locations and they are all consistently very good service. I've found the lines to pay are usually very quick even when there's occasionally a longer line. I seem to always be returning something from changing my mind or buying extra and that always goes very smoothly too with simply giving my phone number. Leslie, at the new Tolleson location has raised the bar on service care, technical knowledge and just plain "What goes well with what" style wise. I like how she patiently listens to my plan and then makes suggestions on my projects. They are usually spot on! Floor & Decor must have a thorough training program because she even knows the tools and installing info. Everyone at the store is friendly, but Leslie helps like a friend and genuinely enjoys seeing my projects pics and has wise comments and advise on every detail! You have to give Floor & Decor credit. I didn't have a problem with them per se.... just with their sub-contractor. As soon as I voiced my concern they reached out and subsequently made it right by me. i still stand by my original review - Floor & Decor has a swoon-worthy assortment of tile and flooring at a fair price for your DYI projects and their in-house designers are wonderful to work with but I would think twice about using their subs to actually perform the work. read more

I purchased more tile to match a project I was doing in Sedona Arizona. When I got back from Phoenix I found that the lot numbers were not the same and the tile did not match. I called around to the floor and decor's in that area, and no one answered until I reached the Tolleson store and spoke with Shawn Vaughn. He took the time to hunt down the product that would work for me, with full knowledge of what my problem was and what I needed! Store did not have samples of 30x60 very expensive tiles. Store charges full [refundable] price for tiles. Said tiles OFTEN will NOT fit in people's car. Asked employee for help scoring / cutting the tile to be able to transport it. Idiot manager gal refused to ALLOW employee to help cut tile. I WAS planning to buy 19k of said tile. Found an equivalent at Arizona Tile Manager forced me to look elsewhere. I do not recommend this store will that fool runs the store. Please make sure you review the store return policy. The changed the return policy in November and failed to inform me of the change. I have shopped her many times in the past, and did not think to read the return policy, since I have never had a problem. The cashier did not explain the new policy that is just 4 months old either. I will not be shopping at any Floor and Decor in the future. While they do have a large selection, I will find a business that wants my dollars and does not explain a recent change in returns. I have not bought tile in 5 years, why would I think anythiing has changed. read more

Miphaella is the best in the design center at this location. We are so happy to have been assigned to her. We were pretty stumped in coming up with different designed for our renovation and were coming close to giving up, until we met Miphaella. She took the time to listen to what we liked and came up with a lot of different options that would make both my wife and I happy. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome as well. We moved into our rental that needed some serious rehab. I went to Floor and Decor in Tolleson on McDowell. CAPRI and jASMIN were absolutely amazing. From start to finish, these women made the process much easier than expected. I brought in one 12x12 tile to match and they were able not only find the perfect match for wood laminate, but put all the components together that the contractor would need! I didn't get the "decorator gene" so they talent/skill was invaluable! My floors are stunning. The price was competitive, supply was available, pick up was easy. Highly recommend. We had ordered the last 1000 sq ft of a discontinued tile from a different floor and decor in AZ. When our contractors were in the middle of the second pallet, they found 17 boxes of tile that was a completely different lot and looked completely different than the rest. Went to another store where the manager was not in a rush to help us. We only have the contractors for another week so we were in panic mode. Visited the tolleson store and the manager Merveen went out of her way to help us get the situation resolved. She called multiple stores in CA and found the lot we needed. She even spoke with the stores warehouse to make sure the replacement tile got on a truck first thing Monday morning. The tile is being delivered tomorrow (Thursday). When another store wouldn't rush to help, the manager at this store went out of her way to get it resolved. Thank you to Merveen at the Tolleson location for saving us and our floors! read more

Do not buy flooring from them. Their warranty means nothing. We have been in our new home over a year and our flooring continues to break down. It's floor and decor's own product and they are not standing behind it even after we had a forensic flooring expert come and file a repot that it was defective flooring. I love this place. The prices are right and I love that if you don't use everything, you can bring it back and get a refund. That helped a lot in the end. I have gotten my flooring, transitions, and backsplash here. I had several people on different occasions help me with flooring. But Amanda from the backsplash area was phenomenal! I was there a few weeks ago and she helped me get everything I needed, answered all my questions, rang me up as we went so I wouldn't have to wait king cashing out, and even loaded it in my truck since I was almost 8 months pregnant at the time! Terrible service. we were in the store for more than five hours, picking and choosing and looking through tile after tile. We were working with a designer by the name of Jasmin. She was great. We have no complains about her. She helped us out to find all the tile through our home and help of design our showers. We had a baby that's nine months old crying and screaming hungry because what baby wants to be in a store for 5 hrs ! Not even a grown adult want to be in a store for 5 hrs ! We had finally picked our tile then we seen another tile that was on sale . Some how we needed up change the tile and paid it at the resgister Great we are ready to go , so we thought ! We are out side waiting for them to call us to put it on our truck. My husband goes inside to check on it because he was taking a while and when he gets in they tell him sorry there's been an error we charge you guys wrong. You guys have a difference and you have to pay so you can take the tile. Little did we know that the cashier did something wrong and charge us a different price and we were great. You know we were happy because we thought that was a deal. That's faster the cell that we were getting. The manager didn't care. He was very careless didn't offer another discount. He just wanted me to pay the difference you didn't care about my time we didn't care about spending this whole time there. He didn't care about his service! I had the greatest experience at this Floor and Decor location all because of Jacob. He was the most helpful and knowledgeable young man I have encountered in a long, long time. He was kind and patient as I asked him a bunch of questions and he was eager to show me the different products along with the low/medium/high price points. He accompanied my husband and I to the checkout, made sure we had everything we needed for the project, and took out to my car and loaded for me.
