My husband and I bought $1,100 of wall panels. We picked a gray color, that we had a sample of. We were unable to start the project because we are snowbirds and bought the materials shortly before we left. Got back here in Oct... opened the boxes.. it was not gray but black. The color on the box says, Mountain Ash. ( sounds gray, not black!) We loaded the panels up to exchange them. They no longer have the color we wanted and refused to let us return them... Unopened boxes, color they still have!! Nope, sorry, cant help you. Beware! This is not a customer friendly business. Very unreasonable. read more

My wife and I went into the store to buy flooring and we were greeted very professionally and from there we were handed over to a sales person (Andrea )who was awesome and we were very happy with their service and selection. This is a big warehouse sized store for flooring, bathroom and kitchen projects. The store is very clean and well organized. Selection is huge! The employees are very helpful as well. Store associate Sharon gave us a lot of excellent advice on our bathroom remodeling project. Prices are competitive and there are a lot of specially discounted items as well. I feel completely misled by this company. While shopping for new flooring, we stopped here before finalizing our purchase elsewhere. We found something we liked--even though it was more expensive--but decided to go for it after being told there was 0% financing available. After getting approved for credit and renting a trailer to pick up the materials, we were suddenly told they didn't have the matching materials in stock. Now, I either have to wait 7-10 business days or drive to Mesa, where they think they might have it. I'm beyond frustrated. I wasted time, money, and effort based on misleading information. I also take my credit very seriously and now feel pressured into using an account I never planned to open. This entire experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I want others to be aware before making a purchase here. read more

I'd never been inside a Floor and Decor until today and it was quite impressive. It has that warehouse feel, but with friendly and helpful employees it gave it a better experience. We were greeted multiple times and offered help from different employees throughout our visit. My friend is looking to redo her flooring soon so we came to check out options. I myself really love the tile that looks like wood. We were told by a gentleman that they offer free estimates and also do install if needed. Good to know. I had the privilege of working with Patty Ramos, designer, at Surprise floor and decor for a shower remodel. She is excellent. Took time to help me find and gather multiple tile options that fit my style. After narrowing the choices, she was able to provide valuable feedback and had an excellent eye for detail in helping me choose my end product. Patty then contacted my contractor to obtain square footage and emailed how many tiles I needed with the sku numbers to the contractor even before I left the store. Floor and decore has an large variety of finishes to style your home. Flooring, and walls. Even outside!- Employees are very friendly. If you want assistance just ask someone up front or walking around. They don't follow you around here. Make sure you really think about your project and order enough material. Also make sure you order the recommended amount of overage for your project to cover cuts, damaged, and to have some on hand in case something needs to be replaced at a later time. Make sure you think about if you may want to add another room to your project doen the road. The material more than likely will not be available down the road. If the material ends in am 8 it is a clearance item. They can always look up and see a forecast of what is coming in and make sure they will have enough for your project. Floor and Decore offers 4 to 5 companies in the valley who are licensed, bonded and insured. We had a quote but didn't use them. Do not go with your lowest bid. Go off of reviews. You will get what you pay for. You can purchase pieces as samples to take home and get a visual which I recommend as lighting and paint really make a difference. See if you like it in it's environment and all throughout the day and night as it will change. If you think you've found what you like take home a few more pieces to make sure it looks just as good as it will give you a better visual. Floor and decore has been great to work with. I came to floor and decor, very anxious about how to make a dramatic, bathroom, shower remodel without going over the top. Something that reflected my style yet was cohesive and interesting. I walked in with uncertainty and Victoria made the process so great. She was patient and funny and had a great imagination. She had great ideas. I can tell you if I had ended up with somebody without any kind of vision I probably would've scrapped the whole idea of anything custom and just gone to a regular tile store. Floor and Decor has so much to choose from but stay away from the Nucore vinyl planking. It has changed and is not near as good as it used to be! I have installed it 3 times with the first two coming out nice. This third one was tearable, it felt cheaper, did not lock properly and the ends came unlocked in a week! They had plenty of excuses and denied a warranty claim costing me $7,000. Starting doing some research and found lots of bad reviews! Wish I had looked before I bought! Lesson learned! read more

I just moved to Wickenburg, Arizona from California. I drove to the Surprise Floor & Decor in search of tile for my new home kitchen backsplash. I arrived with my 91-year old Father around 4:15 p.m., as earlier in the day I was taking him to various doctor appointments in Surprise. Little did I know that Floor & Decor has a design team to help out with one's selection and choice options. However sadly the design personnel left early that day. Charles offered to fill in for the team. He was AWESOME !! He took us all around explaining the difference between the various tiles, and showed us options that might work after seeing photos of my kitchen counter and flooring. He was so kind and patient with me, as I'm exhausted from the move and caregiving. Unbeknownst to me he was off at 5 p.m. and didn't let on...he stayed with us till 5:45 p.m. !! I really like Floor & Decor I have bought a lot of tile from them through the years. Yesterday I went back to this location for the 3rd time with samples and they are always very pleasant .... I was having a hard time deciding what tile I wanted for a hallway, back splash and I met a gal that was a designer, has been for 30 years. Victoria Goitia - Kemp turned out to my golden nugget, she spent time with me, helped me make a decision..... I bought the perfect iridescent tile my husband isn't sure and thinks he wants the first one we picked out BUT ... on 01/02/21 my house burned down in San Diego. I now live in Peoria Az It's been extremely difficult to get anyone to help me restore the house in San Diego for various reasons until I visited your store in Surprise and met a wonder design consultant by the name of Olivia Moses! She immediately offered help which I accepted. She was bright, cheerful and knowledgeable a breath of fresh air! This company is a middle man service who charges you a 16% markup to provide you with a licensed contractor in your area to complete your project. They are based in Georgia, and everything must be done through their nightmare of an online processing system. Do yourself a favor and call any of the companies they recommend for install, but outside of IME, saving yourself their 16% commission and the headaches that come from the "middle man". read more

I have always liked Floor & Decor so was super happy when they built one right down the street. Store is clean, people are super friendly and always try to help. My only complaint would be with the people that deliver your items for pickup out the back. I recently purchased a 12 foot butcher block counter. I have a Subaru. I knew it would stick out about 2 feet when I loaded it up. I had TWO different people come out, look at my car and say "you know this is a 12 ft slab right" OF COURSE I KNOW! I bought it. I paid for it. It's my car. I know how much room I have and I know what I'm about. Just bring me my item that I paid for and let me worry about transporting it home. It took too long for them to bring it out, because they were more concerned with the car I was putting it in. Aggravating to say the least. Love the countertop for sure! read more

We are in the middle of a huge project and chose tile from Floor & Decor. We purchased four boxes of tile for the shower walls and coordinating accent and floor tile. After setting an entire wall, we discovered that the additional boxes of wall tile were not the same size as the ones already set on the wall. I went to the store to acquire the correct sized tile in exchange for the ones we cannot use. The manager on duty, Rich and one of the staff members Toby began to try to find a solution to our problem. After nearly two hours of searching onsite inventory and making numerous phone calls, Toby offered information that appeared to bring resolution. The lead he found turned out to not be viable. I returned to the Surprise store to discuss any further options we might have. Once again, Rich, Toby and their staff went above and beyond to help us find a solution to this problem. Ultimately after two days of numerous moments of frustration and discouragement, we made the decision to shift our original design for the shower. The team at the Surprise store offered support as we found new coordinating tile. Toby validated our experience throughout the whole ordeal. In the end we found something that we are excited to use and we're given a wonderful price for the tile we chose. Thank you, Toby, Rich and team! You are amazing! read more
