Over a month ago purchased a microwave and stove, they lied and delivered the wrong stove and microwave. Returned microwave the same day if delivery and stove 3 days later. I live close to this Home Depot, so when I need something, I go there or to the other store next door. But their employees in this location don't know where things are--air filters, door locks, etc. When I ask something, he/she sends me to the wrong aisles. Weekend trips to Home Depot aren't always the best time to go, but after a Sunday evening drop in at 6pm, I was in and out within record time. Staff immediately assisted me with a return, and were friendly despite probably having a really busy day. Noticed a lot of the employees were really young, yet still very professional. I ended up browsing around, and right now they have a good deal on fertilizer/garden soil, pumpkins, and Halloween decor. Again, timing of the day likely had a lot to do with the efficiency of my visit, but I just wanted to update and upgrade my star rating from my last visit at this store location 10 years ago. read more

Very clean, organized, and staff is everywhere ready to attend to anything you need! Was a little sad the key machine is temporarily out of order but I was informed it should be back up soon. Oh Home Depot as many times as I have been here in the last month you would think I work here. My husband and I are fixing our rent house and as most people know that can become a pain in your ***. We have bought several cans of paint from HD. They seem to be good about mixing it the same color as the one you had originally. Home Depot has gotten better able having more employees to help you find what you are looking for. And don't get me started on the Rboyi stuff. My husband love everything they sell! Today, my husband and I came to exchange a Ryobi air inflator for something different. It was given as a gift so needless to say, we didn't have a receipt. At the return desk, we encountered Maya or Mayd. Her name tag was written sloppy. Kinda like her attitude. She tried every way she could to not give a refund or store credit. HUGE attitude. They must have been desperate to hire her. The Ryobi product sells for $29.95 but because you don't have a receipt, Home Depot screws you out of $5.00 and gives you a $24.94 store credit. Copperfield Home Depot specializes in one thing, and that is being as least helpful as possible. I bought a shower door from them and had it picked up curbside. When I got home I found out they gave me the wrong shower door. The one they gave me was for a bathtub, not for a walk-in shower like I needed. So I had to go back and use up my precious time to return the product. I explained my situation and this young guy at the returns (not a cashier) said I probably need to return the one I had for a refund and then pick up a new one and purchase it. I told him I had it picked up curbside and I just need to do an exchange. This lazy young guys said there is "probably" no one who can help me with that. I turned away and waited for my turn a cashier. The cashier was able to do what I wanted and we did a simple exchange. Someone brought me my correct shower door. But instead of helping me load it curbside they only gave me the shower door and I had to do it myself. Keep in mind I am an old guy and everyone so far who has "helped" me were much younger than me. Also, keep in mind the box says it is a 2 man lift. But Home Depot does not care I had to do it by myself. As I was loading it to my truck I noticed 2 teenage Home Depot employees watching me load it while they sat at the cart returns talking to each other. I was struggling getting it in my truck when another older person around my age helped me load it. So if it was not for the good Samaritan of someone of my generation helping me I still might be there breaking my back trying to load it. While this new lazy generation of kids want to get paid a high wage and do nothing for it. read more

Recently moved into the area and this Home Depot isn't as helpful as others have been too. My first encounter was asking someone about anchoring nails into the dry wall and which works best. He helped but seemed like he was ready to move on. Kept saying yes that works or that too and left it at that. My second encounter was kind of bad. I was with my 18 month old and needed spray paint. I was in the aisle looking at the spray paints and the lady shuts the gate. I thought ok I guess they don't want anyone in the main aisle. I continue to look at the spray paint. I look back up to leave and both side of the gates were closed. I thought to myself, shouldn't they have told me to leave the aisle before closing me in. I walk down the aisle to get out and another worker says " sir you shouldn't be in there, you have to get out" I tried to explain what happened he walked off and don't even bother to open the gate for me. Another worker opened the gate and as I walked off I saw a forklift being operated on the other side of the aisle I was in. So if that forklift knocked something over on the aisle and it fell to the aisle I was in, then it be a safety issue I assume? I know sounds over dramatic but you never know. I decided to call to speak to a manager or someone and got in touch with a worker who took my complaint and said the manger will review it. If he thinks it's a safety issue he will call back if not he won't. No call back. read more

Home improvement is not really my favorite thing. Needed to replace the leaking disposal. Wound up getting a new faucet so I could have a sprayer, and since we are messing down here replace the old dishwasher from the 80s. Sprayer was missing an attachment from the factory of course. And it's a part they don't sell it's proprietary Thank you Frank in customer service for figuring this out with us and getting the sprayer hose with the right part to us in the simplest no hassle way!! So instead of an afternoon of fixing it took a week but all seems well as the dishwasher is almost silently running its first cycle with no leaks. read more

When I got home 20 minutes later, I called the store to see if the cashier could check the area for the bag. The phone would ring but would hang up after so many rings. I called corporate and they told me there was nothing they could do. They gave me a second number for the store (281) 858-5420. I called and apparently the person was at the store but said she could not relay the message to the cashier and could not take any notes about the call. Word to the wise: If you are hiring contractors for a home renovation, try not to go to this store. They will not place all of your items, not answer your calls, and will not be able to help you. Now, I have to spend time to go to the store to complain about a $7 item when Home Depot should have the policy to connect a person to the cashier that rang them up 20 minutes ago to see if they forgot to put an item in the shopping cart. Needed their rental truck to haul a large purchase. Called, they said they don't hold nor take reservations for the truck. Get to the store, truck is outside, buy my stuff, go to rent the truck, and they are HOLDING IT for someone! I tell them it will literally take 15 minutes. Nope. So usually I hate coming to home Depot. I can never find what I want, nor can I ever find somebody to help me. However today was really and truly a pleasant surprise. We immediately found somebody to help us load our lumber, and then when it came to cutting our lumber, we did not have to wait for somebody to assist us. Usually when we are waiting for somebody to come do the lumber, it's a 10 to 15 minute wait. Not today. It was an immediate response. The gentleman who helped us load our lumber was very nice, and then the guy who cut our lumber was very nice as well. Again pleasant surprises. Customer service has stepped up immensely at this home Depot. and then on another pleasant note, I made a trip to the restroom here, and in the past I always found the restroom just lacking. Not kept up, very boring and sterile. This time however, the restroom has been nicely done up with new flooring and other updated fixtures etc. So a definite pleasant plus in that area too. But overall 100% satisfied with today's home Depot experience so today five star rating from me. Way to step up the customer service game home Depot! read more

Recently we purchased a clothes washer from Home Depot. It was purchased through their online service. The washer does not perform as advertised. Home Depot's policy on appliances appears to be that if you have the appliance for greater than 48 hours, it's yours. NO MATTER WHAT! We have been through their local Management and their National Conflict Resolution center. This appliance does not function as advertised and Home Depot WILL NOT take it back. Who doesn't stand behind the products they sell? This has NOT been a good experience. We had a dishwasher in transit from Home Depot. This order has been cancelled. I have sent an email to Online support and will see if they ultimately HONOR their advertising. The guys in that department were even worse, I had the bolt and dimensions I needed and none knew which one I should buy. They kept passing me on to different people until they handed me off to some guy who had the worst attitude and was giving it to everyone that questioned him... 35 minutes later and after looking through countless drawers I found it on my own, paid and left ASAP. My husband and his cousin went to this Home Depot on June 21st. Thez were purchaing two interior doors and one exterior door. The removed the doors to ensre they would get the correct sizing, but when they got to Home Depot, They received the worst service ever, the worker with a beard had no interest in helping them.
