She asked if he would check to see if a surrounding store would have them in stock. He said he would. He found them at the Copperfield. She asked if he would call them to confirm they actually had them before driving that way. He said he would. He called her back with 10 minutes to let her know that they have the bulbs and that he requested them be held at the customer service desk. He cancelled her original order. I went to the Copperfield store to pick them up for her and the bulbs were actually waiting at the service desk just as he said they would be. My parents are elderly so I really appreciated that he took the time to help my mom. Customer service was top notch today because of DeAngelo. Thank you!

This is strictly the home delivery department- I find it…read morehard to believe a 14 hour window is needed for deliveries. This is absolutely absurd. Even a 6 hour window would be more acceptable - 4 - 6 hours would be ideal and is issued by anyone I've had deliveries, from furniture to lumber. Update: They were suppose to call 30 minutes in advance. They texted less than 10 minutes before they arrived. As the driver unloaded I went to view the items and open boxes, I mentioned to the driver-this did not look like enough material-let's look at it. As I opened a box...it was damaged tile in addition I was supposed to get 18 boxes-I only received 6, and they were damaged. By the time I looked up, the driver left. He hit our neighbors mailbox in doing so and never returned. The driver ignored me and any communication. I informed home depot, they initially wanted my neighbor to handle the repairs of the mailbox-? Really- I was instructed to contact Sedgwick using a phone #, when I called I received an extortion type survey question; it ask if I would mind...then leaves no option except to complete a survey-then you speak with no one. it needs to be fixed, at home depot's expense. I received a call about an hour later- that delivery was just a partial-they were going to send this delivery in 2 separate shipments. We weren't told this from the beginning either. Home depot needs Another logistics team-this has been very disappointing and discouraging. we had plans for a kitchen remodel - after this -We might be going to someone else to do the work. I will be willing to issue feedback after this is resolved. It seems like surveys and feedback should be requested after a customer receives the service that is expected and an attempt to actually resolve the issue. A survey isn't what is considered customer service in my book-just more red tape.

They're also able to offer a huge selection of products, even more than you'd imagine for a small business. They offer products for plumbing, electrical, paint, even organic mulch! The list really goes on and on. While you could go to any of the big box stores, they won't beat this level of customer service. I have had bad experiences with hardware stores as a woman lol. As soon as I walked into your store Jeremy greeted me with a huge smile and a friendly "Hello, how can I help you?" While I fished the screw / bolt thing from my pocket, another smiling face came to greet me (Valerie). I explained to them that I didn't know what the size or what it was called , but i did know that i needed 28 of them. Jeremy gave me a friendly smile and Valerie smiled and put her hand out & immediately said " Right this way." She was quick to help, kept the conversation light and was so friendly. Definitely gave me small town vibes and reminded me of home. I come from a small town where there are more cows than people. This was refreshing for Houston. My trip was quick and painless! Until I was almost finished with my project and realized I needed the same bolt/screw but slightly longer. So, I made the trip back to your store and as soon as I walked in, I got the same friendly service from another employee. Jeremy came from around the corner and recognized me and said, "Welcome back." I said yall were so nice i had to come twice LOL. He helped me get exactly what I needed, and Valerie saw me walking through the store and greeted me once again. These are small things but are so meaningful and set your business apart from The Home Depot / Lowe's etc. You have two great employees in Valerie & Jeremy. Please do something nice for them because when you have happy employees, they will make sure your customers are happy too. I will be visiting your store for all of my future hardware purchases. I am very dissatisfied with Harbor Freight located at 17713…read moreTomball Pkwy, Houston, TX 77064, I am a small business owner of a local Lawn & Mowing company so when I had to do a job across town today I stopped at my nearest harbor freight for a set of new front wheels and tires for my rig, I installed the new wheels and tires in the parking lot and set off. The job I had on this day was a rather large commercial job and by the middle of the job the bushing and bearing failed on me causing me to drive on damaged wheels back to the truck. While driving my rig the 3.5 miles back on pavement with bad bushing and bearings it caused the tires to wear pretty bad, So when I made it home that afternoon I took the wheels and tires back to my local harbor freight store nearest to my home to exchange defective merchandise! I presented my receipt to Joana the teller in which she advised me to go ahead and grab a new set to complete the exchange. So l did so, When I came back to the check out counter (TONY) the manager! Told me he will not except my return and when I asked why he told me that the damage to the wheels and tires did not happen that day and that the wear in the tires happened over a period of time which was not the case! I explained to him that I am a small business owner and the bushings and bearing were defective and he blatantly called me a liar and refused my exchange even though I was clearly with-in my 90 day return policy. (TONY) was very unprofessional at handling this situation. He showed no empathy nor did he show any proper communication skills, This boy needs to put in her place by her superiors before somebody else puts her in her place for talking like an ignorant animal to customers! This employee shows horrible value in loyal paying customers!

Instead of coming over and asking how he could assist, Ronny said to the cashier, within earshot of us, "If they know what they want I can help them because I can't read minds." It came across as dismissive and rude. We weren't asking him to read our minds -- we wanted basic assistance. A store manager should be setting the standard for customer service, not making sarcastic comments about customers asking for help.
