I finally got my air conditioner on July 7, 2025. It's an LG LP0823GSSM, and it's wonderful! LG even says they'll make a Braille overlay and manual for me! Even better, Daniel brought it into the house for me! He had to have another guy with him, as it's a heavy machine. I visited the Green Acres store in order to purchase cement blocks for my garden. Huge, heavy and awkward all on a hot day. Sales Associate, Johnny, approached me asking if he could help! I was so grateful. He then loaded them into my vehicle taking care to wrap the load in cardboard so as to not damage the interior of my vehicle. I've rarely received service like this and want to ask the store management to affirm Johnny due to his exemplary service. Thank You! read more

Shopping here was fine, until it wasn't. I had an issue with a purchase with a 12 month Warranty. Purchased a Vissani upright Freezer that quit working after 6 months in. I lost 35 pounds of Beef. Cleaned up the mess and contacted Customer Care online. Was told I have to contact the store where the sale was made. Contacted the store who finally gave me a phone number that didn't work. Awesome. Back to Customer Care, who gave me another phone number that was a wrong dept and was unable to help me. After 5 phone calls I finally was able to get a Warranty Claim filed. Why do these people work for a company who will just transfer you away?? Why does the company hire these people?? This store has excellent customer service with many knowledgeable associates who provide many options for your " do it yourself projects." One associate John , who works part time has assisted me several times with in selecting the right products for my new home. I recently was in a hurry picking up a on line order at this store. and asst.mgr Jill took the time to help me , and contacted a store fork lift operator to load my products onto my truck. The front end cashiers also provide me with directions for certain products I'm looking for. Also when I'm not sure of a item in stock. Customer service has always taken the time to check their computers and fill me in with the in stock merchandise. This is definitely my go to store.. read more

I am not surprised this location gets dissatisfied reviews. I went in to have a piece of 4x8 ply board cut ($68.00 Board) and the attendant was neither caring nor listening to me about my project. He carelessly handled my board dropping it on a corner, ripped through the board as fast as he could, splintering it at every cut. I was so horrified but he would not give me his attention when I tried to tell him to slow down. He kept his back to me and averted his gaze when I tried to get him to see me. I thought I could make it work and just let it go. In putting the project together, I just got more upset at his carelessness and aloof attitude with me. I called the Home Depot and spoke to the floor manager and his response was that he was sorry, then he asked me what time of day it was when I had it cut and to describe the person who cut it so he could talk with him. The manager said he would give me $20 off towards my next project. I need this project done right! I don't need to spend an extra $46 to get some replacement wood. The original pieces would have turned out great if he would have just cut the wood slow or even turned it around to the other side before cutting. He should have slowed down enough to ask me about my project. But instead he treated me as if he didn't have the time nor the desire to help. I did this same project in Bend, Oregon with their Home Depot and the person cutting did all the right things and the project came out beautifully. read more

The day the mower won't run. Another spring is here snd the new mower from last May is broken with multiple problems. Ryobi tools so far are getting a D. Took it in to the rental department and got the best service! After 3 trips up and down the store bouncing between customer service and tool rental was get old. I suggested maybe the allow me to return the unit and purchase a better mower. Nope.. hhmmm a little confused I returned to the tool rental and the Mgr was in hot pursuit ( guess it was obvious I was upset. )After a little back and forth with the Mgr the Tech. Was on his way to fixing my mower!!! I am happy because Porter the Mgr took the time and patience to work through the situation. I really appreciate it. This store is always there for me when I need something, from the ease of ordering or curbside Pickup, the helpful employees and item availability. It can be difficult to find employees to assist you, but the ones I've encountered have been helpful and nice. My favorite feature of home depot is the ability to search for items online including store availability and aisle location; it saves a lot of time when employees are sparse and you can spend a lot of time wandering around the store. I have searched for items at times and was unable to find them, perhaps they were stocked in the back? I wouldn't know because there was no one to ask. read more

1 star because 0 isn't an option. Horrible customer service, rude and dismissive staff who are then offended when you won't tolerate them speaking down to, and interrupting you mid-sentence. Abysmal delivery service to store. I've been told my order is "at the local terminal and will be delivered tomorrow" for 8 days now- after an initial 18 day delivery estimate. Rental Center isn't any better- waited for 25 minutes in line, only to be told "let me help this customer before I get to you" when a customer walked up from outside. There are many other local and major home improvement stores to go to in the surrounding area- and all of them are better than any Home Depot. read more

For as much as I have complained about the lack of support staff at both the orange and blue big box stores, today was a welcome exception. I was at Home Depot around 2 pm on a Saturday and there were lots of people around and coming up to me asking if they could help with anything. The people who either approached me or that I approached were friendly, as well. Like others, this hasn't always been my experience, hence the four stars. But I left thinking that I should make note that today was a positive experience, and I believe in letting people know when they have done good versus just complaining. read more

I opened a small line of credit weeks ago and used it, as it was approved. I never received either a billing or the credit card. I could not find a phone number for their credit department that did not require me to enter the credit card number, so I couldn't talk with anyone. I called the store. Their phone rep gave me two phone numbers for credit. The first required my credit card number. The second was answered by a man who asked me THREE TIMES for my credit card number, AFTER I HAD INITIALLY TOLD HIM I DIDN'T HAVE A CARD, A CARD NUMBER OR A BILLING. When he asked a fourth time, I told him I had already given me that info three times. He then disconnected me with a busy signal. I'M TRYING TO PAY MY BILL ON TIME, BUT I CAN'T FIND OUT WHEN THAT DATE IS, WHAT MY ACCOUNT NUMBER IS, WHETHER THE BILL WILL COME HARD COPY OR BY EMAIL OR TEXT, OR WHETHER I'LL EVER KNOW. read more

I love the Home Depot. Their Rigid and Ryobi brands offer excellent value with top performance often as good or better than Dewalt, Makita, etc.... They have a tool rental department where I've rented a wet tile saw, and a rotor hammer drill. They also carry Echo brand yard equipment that I feel is top notch. read more

I shop at both; in person & "online". Easier using a Home Depot credit card, not only to track, but to replace or refund items; when refurbishing/remodeling a home! The online system is clunky at times; I make it a point to contact customer service several times to keep them informed I am heading into Eugene to pick it up. Also make it a point to allow time to pick up my item(s). **The online pick up area at the stores: as a suggestion, to show a picture of what to enter and then what to text. Would be easier for people that do not text. Awesome that my email from Home Depot; can access for online pickup at the store. Did I mention the Managers. They are very helpful, Thank you! read more

Legitimately appalled at the lack of service and rude service at this store yesterday, especially by "Phil" in Lumber (March 28 2019). How is this store even still open? I was just looking for help to get some wood cut for a raised garden bed and was told "I'm kind of in the middle of something important". "BETTER HEAD FOR JERRY'S" was my initial thought. However my dad decided he would speak for me. So instead I decided to video record the rest of our interactions with Phil who promptly changed his attitude to Mister willing-to-please. Store is nearly 30 minute drive from my house so i wanted to call to confirm they had the product b4 i drove that far. Was on the phone on hold for 10 minutes then a service rep picked up and instantly asked what department and put me on hold for another 10 minutes. Service rep answered again and I explained what I was looking for (which they seemed to not care and cut me off and put me on hold again) before I could even say I was already on hold once .... Again a long wait and when the same lady came on again I stated how it had happened three times on hold... She stated they are just too busy and I should just try back later! Really? This is the customer service you offer? Thanks Home Depot, I will without a doubt let everyone know you are too busy and take my business elsewhere! read more

I am directly involved in placing orders for 4 different construction companies in 5 different States...the Green Acres Home Depot is definitely in the top 10 worst stores I have ever dealt with. I recently switched all of our orders to the Seneca Home Depot. Today, Teresa, at the service counter was nice enough to waste an hour of my time and a flooring Contractor I hired. When I asked the Contractor to hand the phone to Teresa I could here her say, "I am not allowed to talk to anyone on the phone". I had to leave a job, drive to Seneca Home Depot, have Lynn call her on the phone, just to make Teresa do her job. Unreal, they dont care about wasting the time of a multi million dollar company over 7 boxes of flooring, do not apologize when they are wrong, and did not offer a discount. read more

There is an employee that needs to be reprimanded, her name is Kassie. While I was in line to purchase some hardware for my kitchen, Kassie was making fun of a customer at the register. I noticed other customers were looking at Kassie with bewilderment and confusion. I don't think this location is friendly, I think I'll go to Jerry's from now on. Also another staff member had no clue what the heck Tico nails are... and she had to ask Siri for help! Really!!! I used to like shopping there, but that was years ago and now something is different. The people who work there just don't seem happy and it comes through in the way they treat the customers. Of course I am generalizing and there are some employees there with great customer service skills, but my experiences lately have me rethinking my next "big store" choice. Don't even bother. You'd think that it being 2014 and all they'd be able to fill a simple on line order/local pick up. But no, not the case at all. Ordered and paid for a new washer yesterday around 4:00. Made the designated pick up for 9:00 am this morning. This was an item as listed in stock at this store. 9:00 am comes and goes with no call, no pick up notification, nothing. Ok... Call the store and we're told to come on down and everything will be ready to go, ok great. When we get there we find that they do not have the item in stock. Instead they want to offer us the beat up floor model at a 10% discount.. No thanks. They had plenty of time to call and tell us the item was no longer, or never in stock. The process to speak to someone on the phone is tedious and frustrating. When someone eventually answered the phone, I was told no one was in the appliance department. I indicated that the store was open so why was their not anyone available to sell me a water heater. I was instructed to call back because the appliance department only works normal hours. This occured at 8:20 AM. If a store is open for business, why is the department not staffed? I suppose when you are a mega box store only partially open applies. Jerrys had a better buy and as always had service available while the store is open. Jerrys spoils us. read more
