Great service both on the phone and in person. Was told it would take a week, which was completely fine and sure enough- they called us later that week and it was ready to go. I would encourage to plan ahead, check the condition of your equipment early. We got lucky that we did but understandably, you'd have to be prepared for a delay on fixing things when the busy season starts. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. There are places all over town that give great service and do a wonderful job. This is not one of those places. It has taken them over a month to give me an estimate on fixing a mower. I called to see if there was any progress and the lady took my number and said she would call me back in a little bit because she was busy. Two days later I went in because I had not been called back like they had said. The lady came out from the back and said, "I told him I would fucking call him when it was ready." No lady, you said you would call me back and let me know what is going on with my mower. The mower they are repairing is the same $3500 mower they sold me. It is a total piece of shit. The mower is part of a class-action lawsuit and has tons of recalled parts. When I asked them how that all works, they were very vague and said their mechanic would check it out. That apparently means, "You are on our shitty customer list and so you are now garbage and a waste of our time so we are going to make your customer experience shit." I went here because I love supporting local folks. There are so many better places in town that deserve your business. Avoid this place under all circumstances. -THEY SOLD ME FAULTY EQUIPMENT -THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DEPLORABLE -REPAIR ESTIMATES CAN TAKE YOU OVER A MONTH -REPAIRS ARE WAAAAY OVER PRICED -THEY DON'T HONOR MANUFACTURE RECALLS ON EQUIPMENT THEY SELL I am a friendly guy and have been very polite everytime I have gone in there. I'm very happy with my experience at Emerald Power Equipment. I originally took my mower to All Seasons where I was charged $70 for a quote and estimate over $200 to fix. I felt they wasted my time and my money. Then I took the same mower to Emerald and they fixed all the same issues for $100 total. I couldn't believe it was 1/3 the price that All Seasons was trying to charge me. Emerald Power does honest business!! read more

Sorry to say I had a horrible experience. I dropped a Craftsman Lawn Mower off for repair on Monday April 2nd. Was told the repair would take about a week. Checked back the following Tuesday April 10th. Was told that they had not gotten to it yet. Called back on Friday the 13th (prophetic) and was told it still had not been touched. Customer Service lacking. To their credit, I demanded my deposit back and it was refunded to my card on the spot. read more

I have frequented this establishment (not knowing where else to go) for over 7 years and in this time I have gone into their unfriendly domain several times to have my equipment serviced. EVERY time I go in there I am given abrasive service from the clearly exhausted owners who have been in this business for far too long. They are never friendly, they are never helpful, they always give you curt responses, equipment takes 2 weeks to get serviced, and the weirdest part is that no one ever smiles.... seriously. They all have permanent frowns forged onto their faces and despite my best attempts at civility and humor I could never get them to smile. All told, this place depresses me and I absolutely adore the "Tea Party" propaganda in their shop. I just learned about All Season Equipment and I have chosen to take my equipment there. read more

I purchased a used lawn mower from Emerald Power Equipment last week. The mower was basically new and only appeared to have been used a couple of times. They were friendly and quick in their customer service and engaged in conversation. Even the staff in the back room came out and engaged in the conversation. They even provided me a document that authorized a free servicing of my mower for the spring of 2016 and a 60 day warranty. They loaded my lawn mower up in the back of my truck and I took it home. I unloaded my great find carefully. Since my large lawn needed mown, I decided to give my new mower a test run. As soon as I engaged the blades sparks and loud horrible noises came from the blades and deck. I then noticed one of the pulleys were out of balance. I called them and explained the situation to them and was told to bring it back and they would take care of it. When I returned, they quickly discovered the mount to the pulley and blade had a broken tab. They could have simply said it worked fine when it was here and not fixed the issue. They had an extra mount in stock and immediately replaced it at no cost to me! I was there less than an 30 minutes getting the mower repaired. I again returned home, unloading it the same way as I had before and it worked perfectly. I am not sure what has changed based upon other's responses; however, they have my business! They were very friendly, happy, and professional. Even though the mower had something wrong with it, they stood by their word and work and resolved the issue. I hesitate to pile on; but these folks have treated me on multiple occasions as though I am doing them a favor by frequenting their shop. Abrasive and dismissive are two words that come to mind. There are two much more friendly & responsive shops in the area ~ All Seasons Equipment in Eugene (http://www.allseasonsequipment.net/) & Action Mower & Equipment Repair in Springfield (http://www.actionmowerspringfield.com/) that can also fix your equipment competently. After having terrible luck with so called quality equipment purchased at the big box stores, I went to Emerald Power Equipment at the recommendation of a friend. The owner, Bob, was happy to show and explain the equipment to me. The prices were comparable to the big box stores and the quality was much better.
