Person that refused to give us their name.
Sam M.

Very disappointed with this location. Went to this location on 8/20/24 to rent a Drain Cleaner. I wasn't able to fully use the drain cleaner due to cable being tangled. After taking the drain cleaner back to the Home Depot and trying to explain to one of the worker in the rental department, he refused to help me out. He was trying to say that we damaged the cable and trying to change us over $300 for it. I was very polite and asked for a manager. After 10-15min someone came over, but she wasn't a manager and not very helpful. Non of these workers have name tags and refused to give me their names. Very unprofessional. I will never shop at this location again. Very rude workers. I ended up paying $83.93 for a toll that I wasn't able to use. Very disappointed.

They employees are so nice and work really hard in the paint department!

Nice Home Depot location. Staff helpful when need especially in paint section! Can usually find what I need easily. Parking lot big and safe. Have also rented truck from this location in the past with great experience! My go to Home Depot in the city for sure!

I was here today to check out few furnitures and found that they keep food in the refrigerator that's for sale. OMG I feel so disgusted. They shouldn't keep their own stuff inside the fridge that's for sale. Who will want to buy it? I left with speechless.

Had to make sure the flooring was put in a place to make sure we can access the 2nd floor

Called in looking for dricore. Asked for the flooring dept. eventually I got Megan, and she was so helpful and offered to go and confirm they had what we needed for a 920 sq ft basement. She called me back to let me know they had what I needed and then some. Will be ordering this based on her excellent customer service. Later called and spoke to Evelyn and she helped me place my order for the 250 packs we needed for our basement. The fella who delivered the order on Friday was fantastic and called ahead of delivery to give me a 30 min notice. He called when he had his truck parked in the alley next to our garage and was quick to unload the 2 pallets of flooring. The fact I never had to order this online was great! I felt I was getting exactly when we needed and had great confidence in the folks who helped me get this order during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blinds/roller Shades dept

We came in for the blind/roller shades. As I write this we have ask for help twice and twice they called over the P/A system- still nobody is here. We did wait about 5 minutes in between ask - we just ask for the third time - still MIA When he did finally show up he help the customer who already had someone BEFORE he too care of us - see Pic. I'm posting it cause you can't really tell the faces. Addendum - even though we brought the shades from home so he can cut it exactly the same - none of the three shades fit. He cut it too long

This Home Depot location is always a great place to shop. It's huge and filled with anything you might need. They are always well prepared for any season and every holiday. The store is very clean and organized, which makes shopping so much easier. I usually stop in for a couple of small things but usually walk around to see what's new. There's always something new. I look though the home design area to get a little inspiration. The staff is usually all very helpful. If I have questions they seem very inclined to answer or to help me find what I'm looking for. On my last visit, the woman that checked me out was super friendly. This location is my go to place because of it's large size, spacious parking lot and helpful staff.

No bags for anything anymore at checkout?!?! Ridiculous. No bags=no shopping there for me. I will shop online or at Lowe's or Menards.

I would have given a lower rating if I could have. The delivery man was rude and left garbage behind for me to dispose of on my own.

How often do we blindly choose a business such as a florist not really ever knowing if what we ordered was what was delivered? We cross our fingers and hope for the best. Personally, in the past when I have used florist.com or 1800 flowers- I have been extremely disappointed. I do not live in Chicago but when Asrai was recommended by another local florist- I took my chances. Asrai Gardens is now officially in my personal contacts as the florist I will use for all my floral needs. Thank you so much. The recipient was extremely pleased. I used to visit the one in Wicker Park so I was thrilled to see they have a location also in the West Loop which is easier for me to get to. This new location is a huge improvement aesthetically compared to the one in Wicker Park. This location is definitely more spacious and seems to offer a wider variety of things from eclectic jewelry to incense. The floral part though may be the bread and butter of this place. I love how they have the flowers on display, making it accessible and easy to choose your own arrangement.

It's not going to be cheap, but you are going to enjoy every moment they are in your home. Also although it's a little cramped and I felt the need to hide a little bit in the store as to not be in the way, I never felt ignored. I was asked several times if I needed help/was being taken care of. The woman wrapping my bouquet/vase did a phenomenal job, it lasted another 1.5 mile walk, Lyft back to our hotel, and another night/day at our hotel. Thank you so much!

Mags, General Manager made a house call today on our two, sick citrus trees. I have had "Gertrude"…read moreand "Fred" since they were seeds (end of 2016) and just recently Gert (and Fred to a lesser extent) started to shed leaves every night. It was scary to walkout and see the curled up, brown tinged leaves laying there and the bare(ish) branches. Mags came in and examined them and the soil and asked and answered a lot of questions. They were professional, empathetic and knowledgeable. Mags had offered a zoom visit, but we feel that it was well worth the money to have them come out. Mags aerated the soil to loosen the snug dirt and trimmed a branch which was miserably plowed into the ceiling. We feel this is the beginning on the road to better health and plan on having them come back in spring to replant our Snake plant (which has gotten a bit unwieldy). Very happy with our visit!

Update: November 26, 2021…read more Plants are still lovely. But I'm pretty disappointed and not sure I'll be back anytime soon, since there are lots of plant shops in the city and suburbs to visit so I don't have to maintain my loyalty here. Very sad since I'd just shared on Yelp Insta that this was my favorite plant shop in the city. Let me explain. I attended their Small Business Saturday after-hours party. I had been looking forward to it for over a week. When I got there, not a single person in the store besides me was wearing a mask, and there were at least 10 others in the shop. They did have cans of some type of beverage sitting out, so it *might* have made sense of people were drinking, but I only saw one person who was drinking anything. Staff didn't have masks on either. I'd been so excited to perhaps find a rescue plant or get a cutting of a plant, in addition to probably leaving with a neon pothos, and now I'm annoyed I planned my day around this and it was such a letdown. But it was just real awkward and I felt like the strange one for being masked. I didn't want to ask if there were rescue plants/cuttings/etc. since I wasn't about to get close to people. So weird since they had what I thought was a Dailey firm stance on them other times I'd visited! They didn't ask for a vaccination card/image, but when they said "vaccine required", I didn't realize it also meant "masks optional".
