I'm writing this review 4 years after purchasing a high-end shower system from Studio41 for a unit remodel. I purchased the shower online, it arrived, it was installed, looked great, no problem with the purchase or delivery... but 4 years later the handheld shower hose broke. So I went to buy a replacement hose from an online 3rd party supplier and found one in the $150-$200 range. But since it was high end (Grohe), I reached out to Studio41 to check if the hose would be under warranty, and was connected with Cris. I received amazing customer support! My case was submitted to Grohe on my behalf, and I received the replacement about a week later (directly shipped to me). Thank you for your help! read more

I worked with James at Studio41 (Pulaski Road) for bathroom tile and hardwoods flooring. He is extremely knowledgeable on the product selections including sizes, colors, and brand options. His years in the business has allowed him to build relationships with many vendors. So, if there is a question he does not know the answer (like availability) - he can find out with a quick phone call. He also able to bring color and style options we had not seen to find the perfect combination. After the order, he tracked the orders to update us on when everything would be available for delivery. A month later when I started my second rehab project, I was excited to work with James again. He is one of the nicest guys around. We went to Studio 41 to get cartridges for our shower fixture, and to potentially purchase a new shower head. Lisa Christine very quickly found the cartridges we needed, and Hector Colon placed the order for us and they came in, within the time frame we were told to expect. We described the issue we were having with Lisa, and we showed her pictures of our existing shower head. While she showed us comparable items, she never tried to up sell us, and in fact said that we would wait on buying a new shower head until the plumbers had checked our current one for wear and debris. My ex contractor and scammer Bobby Simpson purchased windows for a building I recently purchased. Well he ordered them in the wrong size and because I needed to try to get them replaced, I called Studio 41 and was met with the rudest people. I simply asked the price of the windows so I can compare pricing for other makers. A man and a woman both were extremely rude (like I wasn't a customer) and refused to provide any information and took absolutely no responsibility (I wasn't blaming them, I was really trying to assess how much time and money I wasted on this whole ordeal with this contractor). The one woman quickly said "No refunds" even though I never asked for money back, I just wanted to know about the pricing. They told me to contact my fired contractor, which made no sense. I have also been to the showroom and didn't have the best experience, so all in all I wouldn't recommend. read more

Poor service, poor quality SMART Cabinets. Presented as a solid cabinet but really it is there lowest grade cabinet or shall I say a contractor grade cabinet. Looks good installed but its shabby looking on the outside. Don't be surprised if your cabinet fall off the wall. read more

Customer service is not a lost art! I was searching for a small part for an old Hansgrohe bathroom faucet. I reached out to Studio41 to ask if they could order it. I quickly heard back from their office that they had this part in their "extra parts" box and would send it to me. Not only did they want to send the part for free, but even rejected my offer to pay for shipping. Its such a great feeling when a business goes out of their way to make a customer feel valued. I purchased a toilet base from Studio 41. I received a confirmation of the purchase. Today they email me to tell me that the item does not ship free and for $400.00 they will ship the $280.00 toilet base to me from Chicago. They actually wanted to know if I would agree to the shipping charges. It is common to have items ship for free so I would not expect to have a company try this scam. They wasted my time. For comparison I just paid $9.00 more from Wayfair but at least I have confidence they will actually sell and ship the base as agreed in the purchase confirmation. Before you buy from Studio 41 check Wayfair, Home Depot, Amazon, Lowes or any other reputable seller. read more

I previously posted my review to the wrong store. This is the main Studio 41 location and this is where my experience is most relevant. So far I've visited Studio 41 a few times and placed orders for much of our bathroom renovation needs. Although we haven't received our order yet, I wanted to provide an overview of our experience through the shopping, planning, and ordering process. I saw some people's reviews that were misleading or they didn't understand the way Studio 41 works. You have to remember that this place is not a regular retail store. You have to schedule an appt with specific specialist. They have different departments, like fixtures, kitchens, tiles, etc. You have to call ahead and set up time with one of them to work through your project. Sure you can walk in and look around, but it isn't set up to just expect a "normal" retail experience when that's not the model. I will say this is they do have someone at reception and they should provide guidance for those people that walk in blind and with the wrong expectations. I don't know why that wouldn't have happened. For us... we went in with an appt. The first lady we spoke to was very flustered and unhelpful. I think she was expecting us to come in with certain knowledge and it was our first visit and first stop for any of this, and she didn't have the patience to explain or understand that. I don't remember her name, but she soon passed us onwards for an awesome person who has been an amazing help ever since. She did a full bathroom renovation design in working within our needs. She sketched it all out on a design program and that has helped us finalize and make selections for everything else in the bathroom. She went way above and beyond in terms of helping us with design decisions for tiles, bathroom fixtures, etc. even though the cabinet / vanity is her area of expertise. Btw, her name is Beata and she's awesome. I recommend asking for her. Then she introduced us and handed us over to Pawel in the bathroom fixtures area and he was also awesome in terms of helping us pick a tub, tub filler, faucets, sinks, etc. He made sure things matched and that we kept our costs low. He was really knowledgeable and patient with us and went through multiple complete quotes with us to arrive at our final order. The above is probably after 3-4 trips with appts each time and finally having items, colors, and selections finalized. If you do have precise measurements of your bathroom, that's a critical starting point. If you have sample tiles, etc. all of that is critical to bring them with you as they can only help you if you come in prepared. One other thing I'll say is as far as I can tell, this is a decent way to work with some specialists without paying an extra arm and a leg. This is the only place I know of that has the added design and recommendation services without up-charging big-time. Or maybe it's just Beata? I will say that we haven't received any of the items we've ordered yet and they're not due to arrive until later, but my above review is for the sales and ordering process. Hoping it all turns out well and looking fwd to this bathroom renovation being complete. Somehow I have a feeling that Beata and Pawel will take care of it if anything goes wrong. I worked with Adrian Alvarado on replacing a shower head and track. We bought our original head and track here almost 15 years ago. He explained we would not be able to get an exact replacement (they no longer make the same items) but found the updated version of the same brand. He made sure we had all the parts needed for the various components of each project. He's very knowledgeable! Hector Juan Colon at Studio 41 assisted us at the Pulaski Location. He went above and beyond our expectations. First of all, he noticed we were waiting at the customer service desk for assistance, he was the only person to ask if someone was helping us. We said no, he immediately asked how he could help. He not only listened attentively and patiently to our concerns with one of the products, but he also sent a detailed email of our issue to the manufacturer that same day. Subsequently, the manufacturer contacted us to let us know they would resolve the issue, apologized for the inconvenience it caused us, and sent us a replacement product in short order. This is the second time that we had an issue similar to this, and Hector was the same person who handled it. He handled it in the same way, with empathy, kindness and a sincere promise to help us resolve it. He is a first-rate, one-of-kind customer service representative. Studio 41 does not stand behind the products they sell! I purchased a faucet for over 6 hundred dollars had it installed and it leaked. Called Chris my salesman to let him know and that I would like to exchange it for a new one. Which took days for him to respond. He then told me I would have to call Delta. I replied that I bought the faucet from him and that I only wanted an exchange. When I said I'm not calling Delta he said he would pass this on to management. A week later he said that they had called Delta and they requested pictures. I sent a video of the leak and haven't heard anything since. It's too bad I didn't read the reviews of their terrible customer service before or I would've just bought one from Home Depot at half the cost. Say what you will but if you bought a defective product from home depot you would get an exchange with no questions asked. Needless to say I won't be spending my money at Studio 41 again. read more
