I had the pleasure of working with James Rubio-Dones at Studio 41 (on Pulaski), and he was absolutely outstanding! I was connected with him by chance when I called the store, and I couldn't have been luckier. I was on a very tight timeline and needed help identifying the correct shower fixture for my bathroom remodel. James patiently walked me through all of my options, sent photos, and even looked up my previous Studio 41 purchases to get a sense of my style. That extra level of service made choosing the perfect shower fixture so much easier. Once I made my selection, James went above and beyond to make sure I received the valve and trim within my tight deadline. He even arranged to have some things that I needed urgently transferred to another store for pickup. The entire process was seamless. Since then, James has helped me source several additional items for my project. He is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and truly cares about providing exceptional customer service. Thank you James! Very happy to have you on my home improvement team! read more

We were impressed with how much effort Elizabeth took into finding sinks that we liked style-wise and that would fit our existing cabinets. Our contractor was convinced that the replacement sinks would interfere with the shelving, but Elizabeth took the time to work with the contractor and assure them they the sinks would fit. She was right, and we are thrilled with our new sinks. We highly recommend Elizabeth and Studio41 on N Pulaski. Note that we went to several design studios and none of them came up with a solution. Elizabeth displayed outstanding customer service and follow through. read more

Huge showroom with lots of different brands. Nice displays that give you ideas. Not as much designed spaces or corners like other studio41s I've visited but they seem to carry more variety of brands on this site. One of the consultants, Joshua, was kind enough to answer my questions and explained my inquiries. Some of the items are on sale which is a plus. read more

Elizebeth has been great for us! She has helped us with multiple builds and I don't have one complaint. She always finds way to get what we need even when some requests are last minute. 5/5 great experience from Studio 41. read more

While we liked the choice of tile they offered, we found their service to be below our expectations for the prices they charge. We were told incorrect information twice about tile we were interested in which required us to spend a lot of additional time making other choices. I also had to chase them for answers continually. For the price point I expected better. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Ocampo. I met with her and showed her some of the ideas I had to renovate our bathroom. I was in desperate need of assistance. I knew some of the colors I liked and had very general ideas. She explained the different price points, so I knew what direction to go in to make my decisions. Elizabeth, in a very short time, understood what colors I liked. She was able to show me a few choices of bathroom fixtures, shower and floor tiles and related accessories. She showed me how they would all look together. I chose everything I needed in one meeting. She made feel confident in what I choices. She was able to do that in one meeting. She is talented, professional, confident and kind. I will be going back to Elizabeth for future renovation projects. I highly recommend working with Elizabeth. read more

I'm writing this review 4 years after purchasing a high-end shower system from Studio41 for a unit remodel. I purchased the shower online, it arrived, it was installed, looked great, no problem with the purchase or delivery... but 4 years later the handheld shower hose broke. So I went to buy a replacement hose from an online 3rd party supplier and found one in the $150-$200 range. But since it was high end (Grohe), I reached out to Studio41 to check if the hose would be under warranty, and was connected with Cris. I received amazing customer support! My case was submitted to Grohe on my behalf, and I received the replacement about a week later (directly shipped to me). Thank you for your help! read more

Liz Ocampo is great to work with! She helped us pick out all of our kohler fixtures during a renovation a few years ago. She was super knowledgeable and helpful! We felt like there was a good selection of options to choose from and at a good price. When we needed a replacement part she was able to source it very easily and coordinate with our contractor! Blake at the Hubbard Street location has been such a great resource for us as we select fixtures for our new home. He listened to our preferences on price point (good quality, not extravagant) and showed us many options. He has a good design eye. He seemingly has a photographic memory about the items we selected and exhibited great patience through the process. The overall experience has been first rate. read more

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding customer service I have received from Carmen and Demetra. For more than 30 years, I have had the opportunity to interact with Studio 42, and throughout that time, Carmen and Demetra have consistently demonstrated professionalism, patience, product knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping me. Their service has stood out not only because of their experience, but of the way they make customers feel valued, respected, and supported. Both Carmen and Demetra have gone above and beyond in assisting with questions, product selection, follow-up questions, and guidance. They represent the kind of customer service that builds long-term trust and loyalty. In an industry where customers often need knowledgeabke guidance and dependable support, they have been excellent examples of what quality service should look like. I believe employees like Carmen and Demetra deserve to be recognized for their dedication and the positive impression they leave on customers. Their professionalism reflectsvvery well on Studio 41, and I am grateful for the care and service they have provided over the years. Please extend my appreciation to both Carmen and Demetra. We went to Studio 41 to get cartridges for our shower fixture, and to potentially purchase a new shower head. Lisa Christine very quickly found the cartridges we needed, and Hector Colon placed the order for us and they came in, within the time frame we were told to expect. We described the issue we were having with Lisa, and we showed her pictures of our existing shower head. While she showed us comparable items, she never tried to up sell us, and in fact said that we would wait on buying a new shower head until the plumbers had checked our current one for wear and debris. She told us that we had a great set up already, and that we should keep it if we could. And that is, in fact, what happened. Thank you Lisa and Hector! read more

My ex contractor and scammer Bobby Simpson purchased windows for a building I recently purchased. Well he ordered them in the wrong size and because I needed to try to get them replaced, I called Studio 41 and was met with the rudest people. I simply asked the price of the windows so I can compare pricing for other makers. A man and a woman both were extremely rude (like I wasn't a customer) and refused to provide any information and took absolutely no responsibility (I wasn't blaming them, I was really trying to assess how much time and money I wasted on this whole ordeal with this contractor). The one woman quickly said "No refunds" even though I never asked for money back, I just wanted to know about the pricing. They told me to contact my fired contractor, which made no sense. I have also been to the showroom and didn't have the best experience, so all in all I wouldn't recommend. read more

Konrad is an absolute genius! He knows everything about cabinets. He was extremely accurate in his measurements and rendering of our complete gut kitchen renovation. I am recommending him to everyone! read more

I am remodeling my bathroom and I had a long list of Kohler items to buy. Several key items where impossible to find on the Web except at Studio 41, I was surprised by the Selection, the Service and the price provided by the Store owner (Melissa). I recommend this business 5 starts - Happy customer here. read more

Studio41 Home Design Showroom - Kitchen & Bath Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Jodie Richter was fantastic to work with. Most importantly she asked questions so she understood what I wanted, my price-points, what I liked/didn't like and then she steered me in the right direction. She did NOT try to oversell me or up-sell me. She did, however, give me things to think about/considerations that helped in my selections. I ran in to a few glitches (NOT due to her/Studio 41) and she was ON IT, communicative and helped resolve the issues quickly. I highly recommend working with Jodie. read more

I previously posted my review to the wrong store. This is the main Studio 41 location and this is where my experience is most relevant. So far I've visited Studio 41 a few times and placed orders for much of our bathroom renovation needs. Although we haven't received our order yet, I wanted to provide an overview of our experience through the shopping, planning, and ordering process. I saw some people's reviews that were misleading or they didn't understand the way Studio 41 works. You have to remember that this place is not a regular retail store. You have to schedule an appt with specific specialist. They have different departments, like fixtures, kitchens, tiles, etc. You have to call ahead and set up time with one of them to work through your project. Sure you can walk in and look around, but it isn't set up to just expect a "normal" retail experience when that's not the model. I will say this is they do have someone at reception and they should provide guidance for those people that walk in blind and with the wrong expectations. I don't know why that wouldn't have happened. For us... we went in with an appt. The first lady we spoke to was very flustered and unhelpful. I think she was expecting us to come in with certain knowledge and it was our first visit and first stop for any of this, and she didn't have the patience to explain or understand that. I don't remember her name, but she soon passed us onwards for an awesome person who has been an amazing help ever since. She did a full bathroom renovation design in working within our needs. She sketched it all out on a design program and that has helped us finalize and make selections for everything else in the bathroom. She went way above and beyond in terms of helping us with design decisions for tiles, bathroom fixtures, etc. even though the cabinet / vanity is her area of expertise. Btw, her name is Beata and she's awesome. I recommend asking for her. Then she introduced us and handed us over to Pawel in the bathroom fixtures area and he was also awesome in terms of helping us pick a tub, tub filler, faucets, sinks, etc. He made sure things matched and that we kept our costs low. He was really knowledgeable and patient with us and went through multiple complete quotes with us to arrive at our final order. The above is probably after 3-4 trips with appts each time and finally having items, colors, and selections finalized. If you do have precise measurements of your bathroom, that's a critical starting point. If you have sample tiles, etc. all of that is critical to bring them with you as they can only help you if you come in prepared. One other thing I'll say is as far as I can tell, this is a decent way to work with some specialists without paying an extra arm and a leg. This is the only place I know of that has the added design and recommendation services without up-charging big-time. Or maybe it's just Beata? I will say that we haven't received any of the items we've ordered yet and they're not due to arrive until later, but my above review is for the sales and ordering process. Hoping it all turns out well and looking fwd to this bathroom renovation being complete. Somehow I have a feeling that Beata and Pawel will take care of it if anything goes wrong. Thanks so far and looking forward to getting this renovation completed. read more

Customer service is not a lost art! I was searching for a small part for an old Hansgrohe bathroom faucet. I reached out to Studio41 to ask if they could order it. I quickly heard back from their office that they had this part in their "extra parts" box and would send it to me. Not only did they want to send the part for free, but even rejected my offer to pay for shipping. Its such a great feeling when a business goes out of their way to make a customer feel valued. Thank you very much! read more

I purchased a toilet base from Studio 41. I received a confirmation of the purchase. Today they email me to tell me that the item does not ship free and for $400.00 they will ship the $280.00 toilet base to me from Chicago. They actually wanted to know if I would agree to the shipping charges. It is common to have items ship for free so I would not expect to have a company try this scam. They wasted my time. For comparison I just paid $9.00 more from Wayfair but at least I have confidence they will actually sell and ship the base as agreed in the purchase confirmation. Before you buy from Studio 41 check Wayfair, Home Depot, Amazon, Lowes or any other reputable seller. read more

James Williams has helped me with two bathroom projects and work in my kitchen. He has been just wonderful - he's a good listener and contributes great ideas based on his experience. He made sure we had all the parts needed for the various components of each project. He's very knowledgeable! When we had an issue (the product was not up to par, it wasn't a problem with Studio 41) he helped me get it resolved quickly. In addition, I was to give very positive feedback to the warehouse team - I ordered parts and picked them up at the Logan Square warehouse, and they made the process so easy! The man who helped me was very professional and polite, my order was correct and complete, and I was out the door in just a few minutes. I would very highly recommend Studio 41! read more
