We had an uplifting conversation which turned into me hiring him and us working hand in hand with communication to get the job done. He came on time like he stated and actually came earlier than promised. He came in and I wasn't even quite ready but he was patient and very helpful and he installed all of the window material and a couple of pantry shelves that I was seeking to get done. He did an excellent job. He didn't rush and I was very happy with his work and very please as I looked at the finishing touches. I didn't have any expectation's but we are all looking for a happy and satisfied outcome, and I know I received just that. he also was helpful and picked up and brought my furniture boxes in the house that were sitting in my hallway and that had nothing to do with the service he was providing. Daniel was really easy going very professional and very understanding to what I was trying to accomplish. I highly reccomend you hiring Daniel. I see Daniel as a NEEDLE IN THE HAYSTACK, and it just takes a minute to find him but when you do, you will have the best outcome you were seeking guaranteed. I do plan on bringing him back in for the rest of my home needs. I want to thank Daniel also for the great service he provided.

Adam S. is absolutely right - BC Construction deserves the highest praise for their remodeling…read morework. My husband and I moved into a 2-bedroom condo in desperate need of an overhaul, and our designer recommended Mike for our major renovation projects. Mike came in, listened to all our needs and took copious notes. We had a complete estimate for everything within a few days of our meeting, including cost and time frames for: - hardwood floor install in 2 rooms; - hardwood floor repair for the rest of the apartment; - tile install for the foyer; - fireplace tile surround plus fireplace repainted; - entire condo repainting, including ceilings and exposed ductwork, and; - complete kitchen remodel. The work was done on time and within budget, even with the inevitable surprises that always come up during reno projects. The crew was punctual, efficient, always respectful and very neat. Zack came in to manage our tile projects, and both he & Mike were obsessive about details; our foyer has a concrete column that required a curved cut on our tile floor - and it is literally perfect thanks to their attention. We're planning our bathroom remodel in the next year, and I've already got Mike on speed-dial.

We recently remodeled our master bathroom and at the recommendation of the interior design firm we…read moreused, went with BC Construction as our General Contractors. We did meet with a couple other contractors initially just to be thorough, but were very impressed with Mike and Zack at BC at our first meeting, and continued to be throughout the entire project. We live in an old victorian and have practically remodeled the entire interior. BC has by far been the best contractors we've used in the 9 years we've been here: - The final budget was very close to their quote; - When there were discrepancies, they explained why and always asked permission beforehand to do the work; - They updated us weekly on ongoing costs (Mike is a former financial analyst so I received a nicely formatted Excel spreadsheet each week :) - Their sub-contractors were all very good (they mentioned they've "curated" their subs until they've found the best ones and I believe it - from painters to electrical, they were excellent) - They were obsessive about a clean work site, especially at the end of the day when they left - Very trustworthy; we left them alone in our house extensively, gave them a key, and never had an issue And most importantly, the quality of their work is fantastic. With other contractors, it has always felt like 80% or 90% of the work was good, but there were these little issues at the end of the job that gnawed at you later. Not with these guys. They either do the work beautifully the first time, or if there is an issue, they correct it. They're a little OCD themselves, so you don't have to be all over them constantly. And when they don't feel like they have clear direction, instead of making assumptions and moving ahead, they always asked what to do, which was appreciated. Mike and Zack and their entire crew were also just good guys and a pleasure to be around. Overall I obviously can't say enough about BC. They're not for your handyman type projects, but if you have major renovations like bathrooms, basements, kitchens, custom decks, etc. I would strongly consider them.

My experience with Magdan left me with serious concerns and a lot of unanswered questions. What…read morebegan as a home renovation project became increasingly stressful due to ongoing issues with communication, billing clarity, and expectations around the scope of work. Several things that came up during the process did not sit right with me and led to a breakdown in trust. Despite efforts to address these concerns directly and respectfully, i was unable to reach a resolution that felt transparent or fair. The situation eventually escalated into a legal dispute, which has taken a significant emotional and financial toll on my family. We are facing the very real fear of losing our home while trying to sort everything out based off of a fraudulent mechanics lien . In our experience, key issues included: * Unclear and inconsistent communication about project scope and costs * Billing that we felt lacked transparency and raised questions we could not get clearly answered * Work expectations that shifted from what we originally discussed * Difficulty resolving concerns despite repeated attempts to communicate * Escalation to legal action rather than collaborative problem-solving I understand every project and client relationship is different, but based on our experience, i strongly STRONGLY , STROOOOOONGLY encourage others to document everything, ask detailed questions, and pay close attention to anything that feels unclear before signing contracts or making payments. This review reflects my personal experience, and i hope it helps others proceed with awareness and caution.

I had already paid a plumber a significant amount of money for a leak inspection and "repair," only to find out the problem was never actually fixed. I even had one contractor tell me I needed a full bathroom renovation on a house that was only built in 2018. A clear overzealous attempt at a money grab. I found Welkin Construction almost by chance while getting quotes, and I'm extremely glad I did. From the beginning, they were honest, upfront, and professional. Instead of trying to sell me an unnecessary renovation, they took the time to properly diagnose the issue and fix the actual problem. Their team carefully caulked and resealed the shower, removed bathroom tile, replaced damaged subflooring, cut and installed new tile, repaired the hole in my kitchen ceiling, and repainted the kitchen -- all with excellent attention to detail. The quality of the work was outstanding, and the price was more than reasonable compared to the other options I was given. The owner is a genuinely nice and professional guy and his team was efficient, respectful, kind, and clearly took pride in their work. It's rare to find contractors who are this honest and dependable. Save yourself the time, frustration, and unnecessary expenses -- give Welkin Construction a call. They've earned my trust and will absolutely be my go-to company for future projects. Highly recommend!
