I decided to give Beverly Cabinets and Construction a try. Tom looked at the project and right away he said "No problem"!!!! He assured me that there was no job that was too big or too small that Beverly Cabinets and Construction could not handle. Needless to say Beverly Cabinets and Construction did a great job on my small project!!! Thanks Tom!!!

Has this guy done this to anyone else?? Scammer!!…read more My house was hit by a truck Nov 2019. Tom from Beverly Cabinets and Construction was hired to do repairs. Outside wall and siding repair, all inside damaged interior from accident. The damage from truck took out all bathroom plumbing from all floors which was repaired by a different company. Tom subcontracted a painting company that was absolutely horrific. The worst paint job ever. Tom apologized over and over again and said if they only took time to prep... He insured me that he would fix the painting and caulking. Tom was also informed and sent a photo of a part of the siding that was not repaired around window frame. Tom came out and looked and stated he would send the siding guys out to fix what they Missed. Well, Covid Hit and of course I now had to wait for Tom to repair what need to be repaired and fix and the cracked tile in one of the bathrooms. He had now already been paid by insurance company before repairing what need to be repaired by the painters and siding guys. I did not worry as I had no doubt he would complete the job. I would send Tom Text Messages to schedule the completion of the job. He would come out look what needed to be fixed and completed. Tom would then say he would be back out in a few days to fix and complete job. Never happened! There was always a reason he couldn't come out. A death, a wedding etc. I still did not worry as I always trusted he would get the job done. Now it's May 2021. I sent Tom a text again as I had not heard from him in a while. Tom responded in a text message with a photo of himself with a mask on his face stating he was in the hospital sick. I told him no worries. After a couple months I text Tom again Aug 2021. Tom responded he was not back to work, but would be back next month. Text Tom September 2021 and related he would be out to my house. Tom finally came out. Looked over painting snd now said he was not going to repair the paint job. I was beside myself! He was not the same person I had been dealing with. He no longer could look at me and was looking at the ground as he spoke to me. He said to me, "Do you remember I gave you a $1000.00 back for the bad paint job!" I said, You did not! Why are you saying that! He then measured the tile in bathroom and said he would be out in a couple days. Tom further related he was not going to repair the siding that was missed. I was so shocked and almost in tears as this was not the person I had originally been dealing with. Couple weeks go by and Tom has yet to repair anything. Tom returns after multiple text messages to him. Measures the tile again and said he would be in contact with me. Guess what it's Nov 06 2021 and nothing has been completed. He has now blocked my phone number and is not answering text messages or email! This guy who I thought was and upstanding person turned out to be a scammer and a liar!!! I'm sure I'm not the only person he has done this to. For someone to intentionally do something like this is EVIL!! KARMA WILL FIND HIM!!!! Here is a few text from this year. I also have text from 2020. Too many to add.

This meant a demo of wood, demo of tile, new carpentry, new tile, reinstall of a fixture, additional pipe, and new baseboards. We decided (without any pressure for add-ons) to extend the work to the whole bathroom floor instead of just the localized area. So our results feel like not just a repair, but a remodel. Things that stood out: Communication - We felt the main point of contact, Anthony, was clear and helpful through the whole process. This is true of every crew member we interactacted with as well. Questions were answered patiently, things were explained clearly, we new what to expect next, there were no overpromises. Everyone that came into our home was respectful. Our input was sought at appropriate times, and we were shown progress consistently. Execution - Everyone seemed competent and capable of the tasks at hand. The results look good, feel good, and inspire confidence. If there was a mess made, it was promptly cleaned up. If there was a concern, it was handled appropriately. Initially I was a little skeptical of the proposed timeline but after seeing the work in action it made sense and was accurate. I would advise any others to just be ready to communicate a little, and inspect the results at each stage, since there might be use of different crews for one stage or another. It felt like a smooth project overall, with a little touchup at the end. Also, someone cleaned our bathroom sink. Didn't even ask for that!

They kept me consistently in the loop and were proactive every step of the way. There were a few items that didn't make it into the original scope of work, and Anthony took care of them without any additional cost. Any change orders I requested were handled professionally and without issue. The project came in on budget and on timeline, and they were also great about offering suggestions and options to help keep costs down. His quote was on the lower end of the others we received, and the quality of work was excellent, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend Anthony and his team.

This was a HUUUUGE job as it basically involved dis-assembling the staircase banners and then reassembling them. And Gabe did it all in ONE day whereas other quotes were more than Gabe and wanted a week to do the job. We were amazed. He also custom made each of the 5 wooden Newel Posts himself, based on a verrrry fuzzy old photo of the original ones that had been there before a prior owner ripped them out and tried to 'modernize' things. The custom posts he made us are a PERFECT replica of those in the old photo, fit perfectly into the scale and size of the existing stairs, and the whole thing just looks amazing now, restored to its original historical beauty. It's funny how what seems like a small thing can make such a great difference when done "just right" by someone with skill and artistry and who takes pride in their work. We couldn't be more pleased. We also had him fix our wooden front porch and as always he was super quick to respond with a quote (he was here the same day to look at it), was here when he said he would be to do the work, was done before we expected him to be, was totally affordable, and his work was again perfection. I will use him again without hesitation and am happy to refer him to others with complete confidence.
