I worked for this company and with Tom O'Neill for over 6 years. From this experience, I was able to come out with many lessons learned from one the best in the business. Tom was always an extremely fair and encouraging boss who pushed me to do my best. He taught me the importance of attention to detail and how vital it is to put the customer first. I learned to treat everyone with respect, no matter the situation. Tom taught me a lot, beginning with the importance of finishing every last detail to the best of my ability, and NEVER to cut corners. If something was near perfect, Tom would always find a way to make it perfect. He gave me an opportunity in his company as a teenager doing general labor and cleaning up, from there I was able to move up the ladder and hold more responsibilities. To Tom, hard work never went unnoticed. He was always more than fair paying me above market price and on time, no matter what. Not only was he my boss, he doubled as a role model and mentor for me. If I didn't understand something, Tom always took the time to teach me. Every job we did, the customers interests came first and I will always admire that aspect of this company. They were very dependable and the process was smooth through every stage of the project with great communication. Our circa 1920 basement resembled the catacombs. Tom and Beverly Cabinets and Construction designed, gutted and renovated our basement. Tom's vision to reconfigure the interior basement wall positioning made hosting parties for over 50 people very enjoyable. He installed all new copper pipe and electric, resolving our head clearance issue. The flooring Tom recommended provided the durability and comfort we needed, all while sustaining a contemporary look. Tom Oneil of Beverly Cabinets and Construction came to the rescue of my family. After a long hospital stay my sister was coming home in a wheelchair. With only two days notice Tom designed and built a ramp so we could safely get her home. The ramp made transporting my sister to future appointments possible(her home has 18 exterior steps). Tom then went above and beyond by donating all services and expenses to a family with mounting medical expenses.
